Manga was first...
The difference is basically that the anime just covers the first Manga's volumes, but they're almost the same.

Actually, its the romaji for Reby (Rebbeca), she is from NY.

Also the character pages at the beginning of the manga volumes romanize her name as Revy.

A funny thing about this is that the first two volumes of the german edition of BL has Revy as "Levy" but they corrected the mistake after that. Strangely enough, the same publisher still has Luffy from One Piece as "Ruffy". I guess they don't want to admit that mistake after 44 volumes published ^^.

Yes.... The Second Barriage ends in Ch37 (vol 5) and the third season starts in Ch38 (Greenback Jane Arc).

yes, sorry... :(, in the manga, Greenback Jane Arc is after Gangsta Paradise. In the Second Barrage, first is Greenback Jane and after is Gangsta Paradise, there the anime is over... and the manga continues with the "El baile de la muerte Arc" (The Dance of the Death Arc)

im new to this entire forum, this will be my intro and ill be here to give the information i know so far about the manga, ive already finished the anime.
the manga is already scanslated up to ch12 by Akatsuki scans, if you wanted more you could go to them, also i wondered if sora is going to continue like this and do all the ones in order or jump to 13, just wondering, cause i am really into the manga, but it doesnt really matter because since i have finished the anime i dont have much until past volume 5... but the anime ended on a rather empty note... to little character development, except for Rock, he developed quite nicely in the last few eps, anyway, im new and i only poped by because i found ot sora was scanslating this, akatsuki is quite slow with it, id love to see how sora does, also i could help but notice that sora uses a bit different translation than the anime or the ones released by akatsuki, if you compare then they are a bit different, the basic message is the same but the way they convey it is different, anyway its nice to see a new point of view.

ok now that thats done, time for some actual discussion about the manga... do any of you wonder what Rock's purpose in the crew will be once he gets accustomed? Revy = Muscle, Benny = Electronics, Dutch = Boss/Muscle, Rock = ? any1 want to fill this in?

Hmm no clue about where to get the raws whoever someone already translated vol 6 with features the first few chapters that werent animated.Just to clarify something, the anime does follow the manga but their arc order is different from the manga u still find everything on both but the order isnt exacly the same.U can grab vol 6 at www.mangatraders.com it is free all u need is to register.

please do it, and please start with volume 7 XD

volume 1 to 5 are covered by the anime(the differences are really small, besides the order of the arcs), volume 6 has already been scanlated by some guy on 4chan, so all we need now are volume 7 and the chapters after(from 56 to 59..60 is out this month...)

@par167: i dunno if there's any kind of development between rock and revy(as i don't know japanese :/), but there's a REALLY nice shower-scene of revy in volume 7... :D
