Ok, Pain is just awesome. Rin' Negan? These latest chapters have been amazing. SO much revelations, from naruto's dad to the leader of akatsuki.

had to be something really crappy to make them that bitter. LOL, my friend said that the reason why pain and tobi are in cahootz is because tobi probably saved them or something when they were younger and going through their bad times.

mainly because in Naruto only one segment of the Yin-Yang of the 9 tails is stored
we were wondering that this would be the best places to introduce naruto's brother and OMG nagato ROCKS hehe

Not sure about brothers but I've heard rumors of him being naruto's uncle. I think that may be more believable because when jiraiya first met nagato, konan, and yahiko, he was still a jounin it seems. I would say its around the time the 4th was also growing up. So I see it more of as an uncle. But who knows. I really wanna see how kushina uzumaki looks though.

Looks like I way behind of all of ya. I don't know how far I've read but I've stopped reading at the point where Naruto is onto another secret mission (after Naruto met Sasuke (who was with Ochimaru)).
Kinda stopped when I lost my interest at this manga... probably I have read too much manga recently that I had to reduce to a few.

^ Lolz... yea, it would be very sad if he dies... But it's so orientated that waay... especially with the chat between him and Tsunade... but that's a nice battle showing now~ hmm... taking too long to reveal naruto's true identity... impatienceeeeeee..... =_=
Jiraiya is soooooo dead... but it will be nice if Kishimoto surprise all the fans with something, i dont know, there so many hints to make fans think in Jiraiya's dead (the chat with Tsunade, the toad thing with the manuscrite, etc...), but i'll keep praying for Ero-Sennin.
Besides, this isnt Gainax, so... we can expect something better :D

Naruto will be devastated and cry like a baby.. naah... maybe he wont now since he's all grown up, and at least more mature in the mind. But yeah, it would be a big blow for him... Since it was Jiraiya who, I think, taught him the most stuffs. Jiraiya is one cool character anyway... It would be very sad... Though would the funeral be as sad as the thrid hokage's? Lolz... I'm even talking about his funeral already~~ It's like I want him dead... but no, if he has the chance to make it out alive... We gotta listen to Pain's story before I would decide if Jiraiya deserves to die in their hands....

One thing is true, if jiraiya past away, this arc is about to end...
The leader of akatsuki is revealed, and pretty much of his intentions; when Itachi and Sasuke meet each other in the shrine major stuff will show up related to the real identity of Tobi. Naruto & co. are just behind Sasuke.
Argh, i just cant imagine the picture of Jiraiya's death. T_T

Yeah, Jiraiya just rocked this chapter. This chapter makes me hope Kishimoto doesn't kill him off and yes yes, much toadness in the next chapter! What I'm wondering about Pain is, does he use types of jutsus according to the body he brings out? I.E. the very first pain we saw with the short hair might be a ninjutsu user but the pain we currently see with the long hair is a summoning jutsu user? I'm wondering if he split his jutsu's along with his body. The next chapter's title isn't that promising for jiraiya though. "Next Chapter: Undefeatable/No enemies/Invincible"
Jiraiya notices something rare about Pain's attack indeed, he said that Pain is only using summoning jutsus...
besides isnt clear what the rinnegan really does... i think that is the key about Pain because we dont know why he is keeping so many bodies and how the rinnegan works.
Jiraiya is cool, so i think about he might try to escape in order to tell Tsunade what's Pain up to. That's important, Jiraiya is some kind of spy/scout... Kishi please dont kill Jiraiya Sama!!!

yeah I'm not a huge fan of Karin. Konan seems kinda cool though. I like yamato though in terms of new characters. Sai's tooo erm..... short shirt for me. Man, I really do hope naruto gets better as a ninja in general. Come on, his dad is the 4th and he still lags behind. He needs to get smarter, learn more jutsus than rasengan and kage bunshin, and make his dad proud. The fuuton shuriken rasengan is cool but its still a modified version of rasengan and nothing real out of the ordinary. Especially, when akatsuki members are insanely crazy and powerful....
ah come on, Naruto will crush them... the whole show is about that :D

I like hinata too but meh, she's too much of a minor character to be able to be a love interest for naruto at the moment. Who knows though, she may claim the throne and maybe sakura will end up with sasuke. Meh, problem with me is that they currently focus too much on sakura thats its been getting hard not to like her. So thats why i;m swaying towards naruto x sakura.
I like this version of Sakura, much more mature and less annoying than the younger one.

yeah in a way, I've always felt sorry for naruto. I mean, he's done a lot for sakura and its about time she started to recognize his feelings for her and return them. Yeah Karin vs Sakura will be interesting, though sakura will pwn her. I would assume Karin's ability has something to do with detection. I can't wait for the next chapter, we're gonna see what jiraiya transforms into!

I was thinking that too. The "destined child" is too vague at the moment and I would say its either naruto or pain, though I'm swaying towards naruto since plot twist would be cooler. LOL. But the ma and pa combo is way too awesome. I also think that Pain summoned 2 of his 5 other bodies.

Reading the manga, the toad sage's predictions makes me thing that Jiraiya will not die, because the fate of the destined child is in Jiraiya's Hands. If Jiraiya dies and the destined child is Pain, the world is doomed, over... :D
But, i also think in Naruto, the kyuubi easily could destroy everything... and he's more Jiraiya's disciple than Pain, IMHO.

I agree, I don't think that Pain is the destined child, in my opinion it is Naruto. Naruto was trained by Jiriya for a year or so, which makes him a real student not just a throw away student that Jiriya forgot about!

Well I think that he split his jutsus and distributed it among his bodies. Thats why this current body can only summon while the others have toher jutsus. I'm assuming he summoned the other 2 because summoning just wouldn't cut it with jiraiya. I hope jiraiya does not die because he's just been too awesome these past several chapters.

Much more!!!!... remember, Jiraiya first trained Naruto before the Chuunin's exam last part, he unsealed the technique that Orochimaru used on Naruto to block Kyuubi's Chacra. After Sandaime's death, Naruto traveled with Jiraiya when they were looking for Tsunade (he learned Rasengan)... Finally, after his fight with Sasuke, Naruto was trained hard by Jiraiya for a couple of years.
I think Naruto spends more time and learn more with Jiraiya than Kakashi.

yeah, jiraiya and naruto probably have maybe 3-4 years of training with each other while with the time span, kakashi and naruto trained together for maybe a year. Considering the time intervals, it was just recently that naruto trained one on one with kakashi and learned fuuton rasengan. Because most of the other time, kakashi was splitting his time between sasuke, sakura and naruto but mainly sasuke.

I have a feeling that the person he is referring to is Yahiko. That last pain is probably Yahiko's body...... Yeah naruto has been crazy and jiraiya put up one of the best fights I've seen. The strategy to seperate Pain was amazing. Too bad there is 3 more. Rika! Yes it has been one of the best fights *glomps*

Im not a hardcore fan of him though... yeah, i like him, but shit happens and some characters must to die, that is an unwritten law of manga. :)
But the sad part is that Jiraiya has many secrets, revelations, etc... a character who always had something to reveal and you always expected some WHOAAA! from him... characters like that are always popular, take Yoruichi in Bleach for instance.

Yeah I feel you on that. Jiraiya was always cool and a very likeable character but these past chapters just made him cross a totally new bar on awesomeness. Sadly, in terms of story, Kishi could possibly kill Jiraiya off just to force Naruto to become stronger and it might also add to the drama if Naruto fights Pain. Ugh I hate saying that since Jiraiya rules and I'd hate to see anything happen to him. Tsunade, come save him! (doubt it but hopes) T_T

The whole Tobi/Madara thing still is complicated, because still isnt clear what he really said in japanese. the japanese translators said that it was very hard to translate because it was a very ambiguous phrase.

It'd make for an interesting plot twist, and could explain Itachi killing the clan, but not the heart to kill his brother. Which could also be why Itachi told sasuke to kill his best friend too.

all doujutsu are practically unfair in terms of power, but meh, each clan their own thing. Shino's bugs etc etc.... I hope Naruto learns some more crap other than kage bunshin and rasengan modified versions because erm, he's gonna have a hard time with pain if they ever duke it out..... *If* Jiraiya dies, I do hope this forces Naruto to become much stronger and inept with more ninjutsu.
Naruto has a lot of potential but that's also his weakness because the more he uses the fox's chakra, the weaker the seal gets, so i hope he learns a wicked move that consumes minimum chakra and unleashes a devastating attack

I think after a few more years in naruto time, He might be able to control the fox, like Garra and the 1 tail. Well.. he didn't really control it completely, but, to an extent, without any seals...?
But wasn't Gaara born with the demon in his body already sealed? Because he was from birth he had it he had almost all the control over it when he became Kajekage and the sadn demon is strong but the amount of chakra is really miniscule compared to the nie tail.

Chapter 370 talks about Naruto's "Yin" charakara being sealed, and that the 4th did it for a specific reason. That, and his seal lessens every year. The frog seal (i dont know what else to call it) states that this second seal was only made "just in case" or "if need be" So I think it's possible for naruto to control the nine tails, and complete "that" (stated by Mr. Pervert hermit) jutsu.
So, I still think it's possible for him to control it, likewise, i think it is possible it could kill him just the same. But after re-reading the chapter, I am starting to think naruto could be the one the Old frog was talking about, since technically Naruto is one of his pupils.

Rasengan & Rasen-shuriken are 4th's jutsus.
But the real "weapon" of Naruto is the title that Kakashi gave to him: "the most unpredictable ninja", all his victories are based in that title.
IIRC, his mom wasnt a Rain Ninja... she was from the whirpool country, hence the connection with all the "Spiral" things about Naruto. Besides Tsunade said Naruto has her personality and ninjutsu style and the looking of the fourth.

So off this, many guesses have been assumed. Like, He is a ghost oooooooo, since narutos attack when right through him.

In the latest chapter. Naruto's mom is shown pregnant with her and the 4th, minato, together.... ^^ Shown during a flashback of Jiraiya's. Seems we also found out the origin of naruto's name and who is the "dsetined child." Also seems like Naruto has followed the path that his parents wanted him to follow. Excellent chapter and a fitting way for Jiraiya to go out.. Sad but Jiraiya rocks...

Remember, Kushina grew up to be pretty so I would assume its gona take naruto some time. LOL, man it was just sad actually reading about jiraiya. Him beating himself up about his failed past with oro, tsunade, minato and the 3rd. He really was an excellent character, I am truely sad to see his character die, it was like watching FMA anime again and seeing Hughes die T_T And jiraiya finally understood his choice, it wasn't to defeat pain, it was to never give up. Something that is bound to be relayed to naruto, who is the destined child. Oh man, this was such an excellent arc. Kishi did a superb job. I really wanna know what jiraiya found out but, meh, I can wait. Afterall, this was an excellent chapter. I wonder how hard tsunade is gonna take this and if she's gonna finalyl admit she loved jiraiya ~_^ :-p

Definitely for Minato Gaiden! Yeah tsunade is gonna take this hard..... I don't think he wrote something on pa's back but transferred his thoughts or something. Not sure though but we'll see in the next several chapters. The story just got better because I wonder what Naruto is gonna do? Try and get sasuke back or go avenge his master? Who becomes priority!

Tsunade?, she and Jiraiya had a friendship of +40 years and he was like the only friend who wasnt dead yet, they became ninjas together, fight together, clearly Jiraiya loved her... its just too darn sad.

hmmm yeah they look alike but, its really hard to tell females apart in manga. Even mangaka's struggle to differentiate their female characters from one another. Its kind of like how its sometimes hard to tell whether a charcter is a male or a female. I do however hope this is the turning point where naruto realizes that he can't always rely on kage bunshin and rasengan. I hope he learns hermit mode though, because Ma and Pa just rock ^^
Naruto in hermmit mode would totally pwn. But i never got what the hermit mode did, did it make him physically stronger?

yeah, he was able to kick that other pain with the long hair in one strike. I would assume it makes him stronger in terms of physical and he has more chakra to use. PLus he got Ma and Pa to back him up with their one hit KO's ^^

When kyuubi comes out it isn't because he uses a jutsu, its because he looses control of his chakra while performing a jutsu that requires alot of chakra. also when he had four tails come out when he was vs against orochimaru is because he became furious and couldn't hoold back Kyuubi's chakra

yeah, basically. Unless it was the death god sealing technique, but thats highly doubtable too. From what it seems, jiraiya's strongest techniques were ultimate rasengan and hermit mode. If hermit mode wasn't his strongest, he wouldn't use it against pain.

'till now:
-rasengan (when Naruto and Jiraiya find Tsunade)
-Oodama rasengan (Naruto and Kakashi fight against "Itachi" in Rescue Gaara Arc)
-rasenshuriken (Fight against Kakuzu).
Naruto isnt a fancy ninja, all techniques that Kakashi and Jiraiya teached him are techniques that doesnt need any seals. Naruto is just big balls and enormous chakra. Besides, Rasenshuriken is a very dangerous technique to him, Tsunade and Sakura said.
I doubt that we can see Naruto making seals and saying "Fuuton-yadayadayada"...
All shonen action heroes are like that, Goku was Kamehameha and Genkidama, Ichigo is Getsuga Tenshou and Bankai, Naruto is Kage bunshin and Rasengan (plus summoning Bunta or Gamakichi).
But... i still believe that in 2 and a half years, Jiraiya teached to him something else... specially made to win against Sasuke or Akatsuki, what?, i dont know...

Since naruto is a wind user, we don't know what other elements could be put into the rasangan. Also, his "super training" can only be done by him, so it would take some time for any other type of rasangan to occur

I think from one of the chapters, it said that most jounin level ninja's have 2 elements. Obviously having all 6 elements is rare and we've only seen one person who is stated to use all 6 and that is pain. Personally though, Naruto shouldn't be relying on the kyuubi chakra. He should start becoming his own. Yeah, but he definitely still has kakashi and yamato to train him. I hope he does however learn more frog summons in respect to his late master.
well that guy who had 6 different hearts had all the chakra elements but that was because he stole ppl's heart who had those elements, since Pain is the owner of the Rinnegan (i forget the name, correct me if I'm wrong)which alllows him the total mastery of all the elements

And it is said that rinnegan may be the strongest doujutsu out there.

yeah, the first user of rinnegan created ninjutsu, thats why its legendary to have that doujutsu. Netto, there is only 3 known doujutsu, one is byakugan, belonging solely to the hyuuga clan, the other one is sharingan (said to be an evolved form of byakugan), belonging solely to the uchiha clan, and the final is rinnegan (oldest and rarest), who belongs solely to whatever clan nagato is from. All seperate and each having their own bloodline from each other so thats why itachi did not "kill pain"

we'll see, maybe tobi is just stalling and that might be a clone. I hope this encounter does force the leaf ninjas to realize that they are weak in comparison to the akatsuki members and major training begins to become stronger. And hopefully, naruto will learn more jutsus.
