It was about time we had a place to discuss the man, the myth, the legend, Kiric. I mean lets face it if anybody deserves a thread just to talk about how awesome he is it's Kiric. So let hear what you think about Kiric and don't hold back the love.

Lol Kiric finally made Koga a serious team. It goes to show that the biggest thing Ikki learned from OSF is that getting surrounded by 7 Kings = death, and Kiric is the Lelouch of AG.

But as for this chapter, his plan was the shit.

I mean, the plan was so good that even KAZU felt confident/badass/cocky. And thats saying something.

But it truly does suck that kiric is pretty much destined to die. Although im sure he'll go out super badass (simultaneously handling Sora and Nike then going out valiantly?)

I'm surprised that nobody did make this thread long ago. I mean we've had a Simca thread hell we've even had an Onigiri thread.

The fact that Kiric could take Koga from being behind in this fight to being in a position to challenge and even win is amazing. He knew all of Sleipnirs moves and which Koga members were suited to face which Sleipnir member.

It's amazing to me that those idiots in OSF would turn their backs on him.

Hell, i wouldnt be surprised if yoshitsune was nearly as good as kiric even as far as AT goes. I mean, the dude blocked a giant ass rail gun that was about to level a city.

Off Note: Though i don't think Yoshi showcased all of his epicness with in his fight with the two pathetically failed excuses for assassins. I mean, it's a big ass giant bullet your trying to block. And even if Kiric (yes, Kiric) is although the most badass char in AG, if that big bullet hit him dead on, he'd die. Yes, he would have, probably. But Yoshi could do that also, it was just the circumstances that made it difficult. Kiric would have acted like Yoshi in the same situation, well, maybe.

I think it'll be more than a deathbed I'm sorry bullshit. OG wrote that there were two things separated in the tower, Kiric and Simca and Air Gear. Also I don't think Kiric is going to die. Remember the only two significant deaths in the manga were private. If OG is going with the battles being broadcast then this maybe a way to keep Kiric alive. Also I'm betting on Kiric not finishing the fight, that nose bleed is going to turn out to be something big. My guess is he'll start winning then you'll see his nose start bleeding and he'll pass out or something. After that SF will fall apart without Kiric there. Also if Kiric does support Ikki it won't be him wanting Ikki to become Sky King, it'll be more of a please stop Sora thing.

LMAO, I don't think he has AIDS.
I've already given two possible reasons but I've got three more. The first being some kind of cancer that will require a transplant from Simca, probably bone marrow. The second being some kind of Genetic degeneration that the scientists couldn't account for when they were created. Or maybe the gravity children have a limited lifespan and the more they use their abilities the faster it progresses. They don't age rapidly but their body begins to break down and they die of organ failure or something. That means all of them are eventually going to succumb to the disease. That's the kind of twist that OG likes.

She's smiling in general not smiling at him. Also do you really think Kiric will divulge that he's ill? Kiric isn't the type of person to show weakness even to his team. Also if the team knows he's ill that'll put a strain on them, he needs to be a sign of strength for his team.

Gravity children are born to withstand the pressure within the tower. They also have some kind of gyroscope to help them in the zero g environment. Kiric is different from the others because he can withstand normal gravity that's why he's considered the most powerful first gen gravity child.

AG's plot can advance without Kiric being killed, his death adds nothing to the plot. All Kiric has to do is lose and be out of commission, putting him in the hospital and the plot goes on. The plot advances just by Sora getting passed Kiric and being the final battle opponent for Koga.

I never said he would be crippled yet still be able to help. Kiric's illness if he has one will be something that removes him from giving commands. Kiric has to have access to the battle to give commands. OG can easily put him in a coma or something else where he can't be of any help while still keeping him alive. There are ways to keep him from helping Koga but still keep him alive.

When has OG ever done what we expected him to do? It's almost a given things aren't going to be so cut and dry.
Also I never once said that Kiric was going to continue being part of the plot. The point I was making is killing off Kiric isn't necessarily going to happen. If OG decides to kill him off then he will if OG keeps him alive then he will. Hell this is OG you know he's going to pull a twist that nobody saw coming.

Don't underestimate OG, he'd find away to explain why drone Kiric is still the super genius we all know and love. OG would use something lame like him being under hypnosis.

I don't think we can really make a prediction though. People may have problems with OG, but he certainly isn't predictable (relative to your typical shounen mangaka). If you think about it, it all made sense when Sora captured Rika, that was his ace, but it doesn't look like SF is giving in. OG could have just made them give in and the Kilik being a storm rider god + Ringo being a storm rider titan in the forest problem would have been solved but he chose to make it more complicated. Who knows what he's up to.

I really hope Kilik doesn't die. He's my fav char. Then again, so was Itachi.

Rika taught her sisters AT when OSF was still active due to Sora's persuasion. Believing by the time they become A class riders the world would be a better place due to the acceptance of Storm riders.

Since the OSF breakdown Kiric, Om, Gabishi etc. etc. have retreated to the tower where no one outside of NSF have seen them since. Rika the least injured of the OSF probably could have held the title of Thorn Queen but since the battle refuse to be part of ATs again - Giving the title to Ringo. Sora was considered reformed or at least broken and threat less.

Up to the beginning of the current storyline Ringo was the public face (at least to Kings) of Sleeping Forest which pretty much became a team of legend considered by the average storm rider. The public face of Genesis was Simca known to be gathering elite riders and Kings. However to those who knew (Kings and active GC) Kiric and Nike were still involved in respective teams even though they have probably not been seen since the OSF breakup.

Some time between the beginning of the current storyline and the OSF break up Kiric approached Rika's sisters (probably while Rika was wrestling around the world) and told them of his philosophy/ideals about the sky regalia. They agreed to join NSF but was not told about Sora since he was considered broken. The sisters didnt mention anything about what goes on in the the tower to Rika because she didnt want anything more to do about ATs.

So both teams were covered in mystery and secrets building up their power but cautious not to instigate any open conflict in fear that the other side was still stronger. Or in other words SF (Kiric's side) was keeping an eye on Genesis (Simca's side) while they simply gathered strong riders - not necessarily showing any active signs of reaching for the Sky Regalia. (Except for Nike in America making deals with the navy/military in secrecy).

The sisters were not told of Sora true motives till after the Ringo vs Ikki battle. As of warning/telling Rika, O!G has yet still to reveal the details...

Rika obviously doesnt talk about Sora/Kiric/OSF much if at all. Rika herself is shown to have not been in contact with Sora for a long time - ex boyfriend yea...Probably due to Sora's decision. Initially we think its because he doesnt want to be reminded of the past and seen disabled - but its actually because he was busy masterminding the whole new creation of the wind Regalia with Nike - bastards.

So why would they side/stick up for Sora a guy they never met? Known only as the previous Wind King, who lost his title and his legs in the OSF civil battle. Rika didnt personally see Kiric cripple Sora, she only knew that night sh*t was going to go down and the other Kings would meet up - and gang up on Kiric.

Kiric seems to me as the type of person to avoid needless death. There was no point in killing him because he was removed as a threat. Kiric couldn't foresee Ikki showing up or his stupid bitch sister actively using Ikki to help Sora get the Wind Regalia back. If his lame ass sister had left things alone everything would be fine. In reality Simca is just as soiled with blood as Nike and Sora her actions had an indirect effect on everything.

Then again, it IS Rika. Ouch. I wonder if Kiric has some sorta mechanic balls, since his must have been kicked out by her after he lip-raped her, if Rika is as badass now as she used to be.
We'll probably never get a reference to that moment, though. Like weird pyon girl and Lind, this seems to be one of OG's "I just really wanted to draw it" moments, that he'll pretend never happened so he won't have to actually write a plot.
