Overall History: Kana's father and mother both were corporate majors in the accounting business, thus making them the target for various high-paying jobs all over the country, and even internationally. The couple were famous for being alumni from the prestigious university in Tokyo -- pure prodigies. However, once the couple had taken a small break from corporate business, they had settled down in the Kyoto prefecture and Ayumi had given birth to two identical twins: Alice and Kana. The family of four members moved consistently never staying in one region for more than one year. However when Kana and Alice were 7, the couple had decided to take another long-term break to make up for their neglected children. They moved back to Kansai region in Kyoto, and moved into a rather spacious and homey house next to the Tsukiko family. This is where Kana met Tsukiko Chouko: the object of so much praise in the near future. The family next door to the Mizuhashis, however, had countless functioning problems and had resulted into the tragedy that left the offspring of the parents in a quick shock. Although Kana was older by two years, she acted much younger than Cho was and found it hard to understand what had happened. It wasn't until she had come home from comforting and doing everything she could for Chouko to cheer up, that she found her parents with obvious worry for her ready to desert the house they had moved into only three months ago. Being oblivious to everything, the feeble girl had accepted everything. But only three hours later on the plane towards the direction of Korea, had the girl's brain absorbed the information and what exactly happened. Throughout her plane ride, the seven year old cried continuously only muttering the other girl's name in utter panic and so much rue. After reaching Korea, her parents continued their business and her and her twin sister went to school and lived the days on end in the Korean society. After graduating high school, however, Kana had developed a sense of responsibility to return to Japan and find her childhood friend and love. Her parents posed no objection and were actually very enthusiastic about her future career in the art and fashion scene. Alice, Kana's twin sister, was not left behind though. The duo both got accepted into Yazagaku, and thus migrated back to Japan to do their studies, careers, and lives.

C o m i n g back to Japan was what Mizuhashi Kana had waited and hoped so long for, and now that it was finally become a reality -- she was in a complete trance of everything. Throughout those long and scornful eleven years of her life in the Korean society she never once forgot about that night. Never once had she failed to falter in the tremor of the situation upon remembering it. Never had she forgotten the tears streaming down the plump cheeks of her next door neighbor. No, of course she would never forget it. And she would most definitly never forget her, Chouko. The younger girl had been soiled into her mind ever since she left Japan's surfline and travelled over the sea to Korea. Kana would have given anything to go right around and stay with Chouko forever, and never leave her side. That was the time she most needed a friend, but Kana had failed her miserably due to her paranoid parents. More than countless times during Kana's stay in Korea, had she ill-mindedly cursed her parental unit's very existance. They were the cause of everything she had to endure. All the anguish, agony, and heartwrenching moments she had .. it was all because of them. It was THEIR fault she couldn't see Chouko anymore. It was THEIR fault Chouko didn't have a true friend when needed most. When Kana had turned fifteen, she couldn't bear to see other girls with their best friends, or lovers for that manner. It always made her think what life would have been if she was still in Kyoto, living next to Chouko .. to be able to watch, talk, and interact with her every day. Instead every day for elevan years, the angelic looking girl had thought and daydreamed about this very Chouko for hours on end, swearing to herself that she would find her and stay with her forever. Never to abandon her ever again. And as the twins' plane landed rather rough over the concrete of the airport ground, Kana's hand found itself interlocked with Arisu's as she dilated her emerald gaze to stare into her own blood's look of mischief. " Arisu .. We're finally back .. " The more mature looking of the two nodded gracefully as her own emerald radius of sight closed for a moment, and stepped into a deep thinking trance. Alice knew all about Kana's unhealthy obsession with their former neighbor, Chouko. She knew perfectly well how her younger sister had felt during such a moment. " Now you'll be able to live at ease and truly find happiness, Kana. " We flow like sugar and spice, right Choukou? . . . C h o u k o?
