What up ss members, I need a little help. Its been a while since i've seen a good anime out. Could someone give me any suggestions on any manga(s) or anime(s) out there that are new and are similar to these titles.

1. Air Gear

2. Samurai Champloo

3. Black Lagoon

4. AIKI (manga)

Notice that I like anime with good soundtracks and manga for mature audiences lol

Any Suggestions?

I think this Naruto is pretty good. You should check it out. It's about this cool ninja clan.

...Just kidding.

New, you say? So no classics like Cowboy Bebop? What would be a so called new anime? Anything after 2000?

Well, Baccano is definitely worth a try. And Darker than Black might suit your tastes too. Both are fairly episodic, mature and have great soundtracks. You might like the Kara no Kyoukai movie series too. Mature, grimdark and once again splendid music. Gankutsuo and the Hellsing OVA could work too, I guess. And watch Planetes, Monster and Aria. And Welcome to the NHK, a must for any anime fan. It warns you of your impending doom.

And for manga: Jojo's Bizarre Adventure, Berserk, Tsukihime, Great Teacher Onizuka, BLAME!, Kodomo no Jikan (hohoho), Deadman Wonderland, Mirai Nikki or Pokemon Special (not even kidding, bub. Not even kidding. Everyone loves it)

A little more specific details would be nice. I'm just throwing out random suggestions based on the fact that you want somethiing more mature or high-brow or whatever.

Hmm if it'f action ur looking for, then i suggest something along the lines of Gungrave or GunXSword. The two are like total polar opposites of each other but they are fantastic series that any anime fan must watch

Gurren Lagann's good, just try to avoid the rabid fans. Akagi's great fun regardless of your knowledge of Mahjong (to this day I have no idea how to play the damn game). Code Geass season 1 (R2 is fine, but definitely not as good as the first season). Higurashi on Naku Koro Ni is great too if you haven't seen it yet (lots of gore, loli, and mind-fuck)

yea i tried to watch gurren lagan on sci fi but it was kinda too shounen for my taste. And the only thing i liked about Code Geass season 1 was the first opening lol(those were the dudes who made the first eureka seven op.)
