To be fair, while he was featured in Sora's story. The rest of Sora's story was a complete fabrication. If there's one thing we know, it's that we can't trust what that guy says.

- koga is on their way to the train. they notice all these paper airlplanes, kazu and ikki grabbing one and examining it. the paper airplanes are advertisement of the jiggy vs. koga match (ikki doesn't know that pattern of folding for a paper airplane despite being a self-proclaimed paper airplane master). buccha adds that jiggy is a team of pro grappler fighters so naturally they would have a hand in the propaganda. thinking about pro fighters, ikki wonders if it would mean being able to meet big shots like Misawa, but buccha says not really

- apparently jiggy's specialty is fighting in hanging fenced boxes (pretty much like a cube battle). also, due to that method of fighting, jiggy has won more than 90% of the time. however, jiggy almost always loses when it comes to other types of battles. everyone goes through the gate except ikki cause he has no money (kazu refuses to pay for ikki). ikki tells everyone to finish their fights in 30 seconds. koga confirm with one another of being able to keep with that goal. as they board the train everyone (except agito and nakayama) say "Let's Go!! Asada Mao's receding hairline- OH Sexy~!!!" (wtf?) everyone but ikki enters the train (since he doesn't have a ticket), buccha also had to wedge the door open more since he was so big.

- as the train is heading out, ikki remembers ringo's confession and he tells himself to not think about for now. ikki then notices the paper airplanes again. that one guy who talked on the phone with koga earlier is on the train (how the hell did he get there so fast?; could've sworn that he was at the training center with jiggy when koga just left their school minutes ago) and making the paper airplanes with the match advertisement. nobunaga points out the guy to kazu but he doesn't make a big deal out of it, onigiri adding that its probably just his job. agito is napping on the luggage rack and nakayama has won the card game when buccha got the wrong card.

- ikki is impressed with the guy's paper airplanes, offering his compliments. the guy responds that its his own original fold design. he gives him some rather deep words about people and flying. he ends with saying that this fight is to change the world and addresses ikki by name (ikki didn't give his name)

- back at the tower, sister prima is freaking out over sora's escort coming to this compound and in her panic runs into the gram slam/slum shop owner lady... turns out that she's the chairman of the school. the little old guy and orihara arrive also to witness this battle. sister prima is reciting the lines of "i am alpha and omega, the beginning and the end from the revelation of john. these lines are being applied to this stand-off between sf and genesis. kiric is already waiting when sora gets off his ride. sora says how much things have changed here (at trophaeum tower), but kiric says that it hasn't. kiric makes a final statement that their battle will change the world.

so i hope the battles start next week. on a side note, the guy making paper airplanes could be 'uncle minami' or maybe not. page 9 of this chapter shows letters on his hands but they are different from what was shown earlier of a confirmed 'uncle minami' in this -> http://www.onemanga.com/Air_Gear/194/008/
he could have very well cut his hair and changed the letters on his hands... he could also be a friend or relative of 'uncle minami' and the letters on their fingernails are something similar to sora and kiric's tattoos as far as meaning. we'll find out soon enough.

To each his own. IMO Aeon, Spit, and Kazu are strong enough characters that to me their drama with the flame road is just about as interesting as the main plot, so there's that.

But kazu is pretty calculating in battle, i forgot how smart he is sometimes (auto analysis, sharingan copying flame road intro.)

But id hate to tread into possible kazu hijack territory, so id also like to point out that old man minami's character design looks awesome....ikki-ish, but at the same time definitely more mature and wise. Ha even if ikki and wise are almost antonyms.

Dude Kiric is a god, he took four other kings and wiped out all of the original Kings including the fabled Wind King. All of the original kings with regalia were no match for Kiric leading another team.
I never said him being able to read tricks wasn't impressive, hell it makes him far better than doucheboy. But that is a far cry from being able to do what Kiric can do. Oh and it doesn't matter if Kiric was engineered to do those things. All the others were engineered too and he's far better than they are. Besides I'm not the one who tried to compare the two.

I've been re-reading AG, and now that I know how the things really went, I get so damn fucking pissed off at this. I have the urge to punch through the screen when I think of those faggots choosing Sora over Kiric. That pic of Kiric standing in the middle of the room, eryone staring and Sora being his asshole-y self is just so aggravating.

I dont think there was anything wrong with what ikki did. At first i thought it was odd that it was more pronounced than his reaction to spitfire, but then i realized that was because he was more focused on sora's betrayal.

Joining a freaky cult is not okay, but considering the circumstances and im pretty sure the girl kinda lured him there, i dont think it makes him a bitch.

And in that instance he was a bit cowardly, but no more than any normal person. Also, he's been brave more often than he's been cowardly, since a few chapter before that he was totally willing to attack gabishi head on.

The difference between Kazu and Ikki is that Ikki just believes in himself while Kazu has to see himself do it to believe it (bar the odd exception). On top of that, Kazu lacks offensive power. While he was number two in the East Side whatever they were, Ikki was the one that handled all the top dogs. Thus when Kazu saw a top dog, his honed battle senses told him it was above his league and let's be honest, it really was at the time. Had Gabashi stumbled upon Ikki. Ikki would've rushed in and been killed.
