the manga is awesome, and the anime rarely ever beats the manga. But I'd like to see a second season of Air Gear. Nothing like a moving animation of Simca, ooh lala!

Haha. Apparently it wasn't made because of the fact it didn't have enough fanbase, but, since it's release, it slowly but gradually picked up. I don't see why season 2 should have any reason to not be released now.

It would be pretty cool, since fight and ATs scenes in the manga are much better visualized in anime. But, Ikki's animation in the anime, seems a little odd. Don't know.

Yeah, I read something about the movie BUT a few concerns with that for me are:

1. Will it continue from where season 1 left of?

or

1b. Will it be a new story?

If a new story, then will it be:

2. Just everything he's learnt from Season 1 onwards, including the characters shown in the season 1 episodes, etc?

or

3. Continue from the Manga?


I very much doubt the film will continue from the manga, so many characters from the manga will be missing (because they haven't been shown in season 1 yet). Although, I guess a new one-off story and new characters can't hurt :D

I would love to see an AG movie. When I look at movies compared with their animes the movies always have better effects to me. I would love to see how the sparks would look while they grind in the movie or how fast they can go.

Isn't it rare that a movie of an anime/manga would continue from the manga? It's usually a new storyline and sideplot that has nothing to do with the manga. If it were to continue from the manga, wouldn't that leave less for a season 2 to work on, therefore giving even more reason to not release a season 2 in the first place? Indeed! Ringo when she's in AT gear (without the glasses) is hawt. And the fact that you know she wears glasses when she's in normal clothing but doesn't when she's in her AT gear makes her even more hawter. Ringo will have to do for now since Simca's in a wheelchair :(:(

I hope that this is true but...
I really think the return of Air Gear in any other form of media (except paper) is not going to happen.
But, hey if it does happen that a Movie or the second season of the Anime comes out that would be really nice and I would pay to see it.

Animes are nice but at times they tend to leave out the finer details that are in the manga. Really hate when that happens at places u would want to see.

Considering its a movie they will have to conquer some brand new enemy not someone we know from the manga. It will probably invovle someone on the team getting considerably better but when they start the second season when ever that is whatever they learnt will be excluded and they will continue to follow he manga. I also think this big break is so that they can avoid what happened with naruto and not have 100 episode of fillers.

I watched the FMA anime first and read the manga second, but I found that I liked the Manga A Lot better. Then again, I liked it more just because of Ling and the little girl with the mini panda. It actually makes more sence to me than the anime

I have a feeling that they would release fillers just like any other anime ex. Naruto and Bleach. although the manga is really far they still do some fillers. why do they do that?:confused:

Because the anime usually skips a lot of what the manga shows, it takes quite a few chapters just to make 1 anime episode. As much as 6-8 Naruto chapters can be shown in 1 naruto episode.

I wasn't reading the manga when those chapters were releasing(I started reading late 2006), but I can't imagine what people went through. I feel worse for the Anime watchers though, I quit after the first ten filler episodes and went into therapy.
