Bijuu

naruto :P lol

dont think theyve ever been given a name, i just think theyre representations of the riders spirit, every major rider has one...like ikki has the dragon thing, kazu has the jet, om had the knight thing, etc

When you release your blade, and it starts spinning into the stadium, and the opponent's blade is hitting your blade and you're like TFW!? RELEASE! And like a monster comes out from the middle of your blade and you're like POW POWER UP!..

oh wait a minute, that's Beyblade.

Yeah, i guess it is just they way they are represented, like Kazu's Jet=speed, and Buchha's Tank=strenght and endurance

its gotta be the fact of lack of text the author cant use imagery to they use concrete ways such as actually drawing the creature that conisides with the rider.

You have to admit, if it weren't for those picutres/monsters/whatevers, the ATers would lose quite abit of their cool factor.

think of it this way...its a representation of their skills and comparing them to what they are most like..like ikki and the crow, which we see the crow get more powerful and fearsome as he himself becomes a better rider. Kazus the jet for speed buucha the tank since hes a strength rider, ringo the armored queen since she the thorn queen aeon clock has his clock, gabishi cut stuff up so he had that mantis i think it was so its kind of like how bankai represents a person in bleach just that this one isnt physical but an aid to the reader...that or becuase he wanted to make them look five times more bad *** then they already are...he did the same thing in anothe rone of his mangas

Well I think that you could just call them spirit creatures.

Hell the Ikki's team almost has the 4 traditional guardian creatures. The Roc, the Dragon, the Tiger, and the Turtle. Ikki, Buucha, Kazu, the Pig. ;)

The others I think could easily figure into some historical figures. Benkei's is stupidly obvious. Gabishi's though could be Mushi. The Gorgon's could be an incredibly beautiful woman, "the sight of her freezes men in their tracks".

No idea what's being called but it does look darn cool especially Ringo's Crazy Apple (A winged girl knight).
