And, I'm glad Buccha didn't get it. I'd prefer that he got stronger and relied on his own strength, than having to use a Regalia(I feel the same about Emily, too).

Normally i'd agree with the first part to a certain extent...but pretty much everyone is disappointed in this development, even me an Ikki fan

Again i repeat the Over Road is not about walls. The trick they use to make the wall is a defensive trick of the Over Road which is called the Rumble Wall.

The rumble wall ability is a very potent ability which requires a long time to master and a lot of strength. By compressing the air and releasing it in an extremely dense format and by constantly sending it against an opponent the foe feels as though he has hit a wall. The rumble king can then move back this wall of air back and deal damage to an opponent by squishing him upon natural obstacles (Like dontores to Bucca). Obviously however, if the opponent is extremely powerful he can potentially push the wall of air back and eventually break through it. The rumble wall requires a huge commitment since it forces the regalia to constantly use all the air it gains and will therefore render the rumble king rather defenceless if it is broken. And that's why Yoshi couldn't handle much of it because he's not that physically strong like Dontoress and Bucca.

Bucca's experience with walls won't help him ride and master the Over Road since he rides walls and not make walls of air, Bucca has no clue about the Over Road yet, except that it runs on the Windmill Principle, which i don't think he knows anything about in the time being. The Over Road has a lot of tricks, not just the Rumble Wall. And for me, Bucca hasn't showed any skills yet, he's only shown his brute strength with his smarts alone.

And i agree that this chapter is FUCKING BAD! If Bucca becomes the Rumble King they'll have to make a new regalia (Obviuosly). And the old one will be useless. I'm guessing O!G's shit plan with it will be either studying it for Ikki's Shitplot Road or dismantling it and using the parts that will be of use, since he's Jesus in this manga, and everyone and everything must do what he says, only difference is that Jesus was very humble and considerate to others unlike Ikki who'll give you the finger if you disobey him (i dont know why O!G thinks that's cool badass stuff, if he noticed it wasn't, he would have changed Ikki's persona like 120 chaps ago when he was emo shit over Sora "He was like the brother i never had" shit like that).

It sucks, but the character im least interested in is ikki (extremely minor characters excluded), and for a protagonist/main plot driven manga like this that is a problem.

And i agree that no reggies=almost worthless, unless its like emily where she'll forever be the "assist" player, or the one who does one specific act to contribute to the overall victory.

But if buccha doesnt get a regalia, he wont be soloing anybody, and that sucks.

Overall, OG has other plots that im much more interested in. Flame road, SF vs. genesis, over road (guess thats not happening), emily in america, other big teams in the GS tourney...but he seems so intent to just do stuff with ikki and the main plot, yet at the same time not moving the plot forward (case in point, genesis vs. sf is still just hanging there).

I have said this many times before but I don't see any Gary Stu-ness from Ikki, well at least not to the massive levels that Reflector is always mentioning. I actualy think that Ikki is a well-developed character, maybe not as much as Kazu and Kiric perhaps but sill well developed. He manages to surprise at the most interesting times. I do agree having a Dante or an Archer in Air Gear would be cool. Dante is a fun-loving guy though, he would actually get along with Ikki I think. About the Storm Regalia, the better solution would have been if Ikki got the Dg27 from Omaha or something, but this way isn't bad. And those who think that the there will be no more Rumble King, as long as the core of the Regalia is still there, they can always rebuild the Rumble Regalia later. The concept of using the theory and concept of the Rumble Regalia on the Storm Regalia is cool, it reminds a bit of Nike's Jade Road. And Kururu's epiphany was good as well, it sort of looked like Ikki's vision when he sees the flow of the wind. The whole epiphany thing reminded me of House a little, the look on Kururu's face was a lot like what House's face looks like when he gets an epiphany.

Archer wouldn't interact with Ikki as he does with Shirou. He'd probably be annoyed by Ikki's attitude and think he's a total assburger and bite his head off. A guy like Ikki would totally piss Archer off.

That's not what he does with Shirou. Archer doesn't think Shirou's an idiot who can't make up his mind. I don't know how much an anime only fan of F/SN knows, as I had all the information when I watched the series, having played the game, so I picked up every single subtle hint they threw, but:
Archer wants to kill Shirou because he thinks his ideal of saving everyone will only lead to pain. He would know, because he IS Shirou who has reached the end of his path as a hero. Never gaining anything from it, he grew wicked and cynical. He decides to kill Shirou because he wants to spare Shirou from the pain, and create a time paradox so his own existence would end, so he doesn't have to suffer anymore.

That's why he had his occasional sympathic moments with Shirou; he could identify himself in Shirou.
Not quite the same, right? Sorry, I'm a fanboy, so I just had to do this.

I don't play F/UC myself, but I do know that Archer is Rank S++ in that game. He's really damn good. Apparently, his Kanshou & Bakuya twin sword throw is really useful. Oh, and Emiya starts playing during his finishing move. Fuck yes.

It turns out that Ikki will be the best rider of any road. You know why? Because Ikki is AIR GEAR (whoah, that's some deep stuff there, OG. Awesome foreshadowing, best writer ever). Ikki saves the world and becomes god of the AT world.

Honestly, the way OG is writing right now, I wouldn't be surprised if this came true. I don't care what blinded fanboys say, OG's writing right now is very poor, bordering to shit at times (like this chapter).

If they only use the metal of Rumble reggies, but not the windmill stuff, it will still be just Wing road with a new name. After all, they were just looking for the metal, not for the turbines in Ram Jet. So hopefully they'll just stick to the original plan instead of weaving some random bullshit. I really hope they spare the cores for Buccha. Because this Ikki proritizing BS really pisses me off. Buccha really deserves them more; Otherwise he'll stick to being useless fodder for the rest of the manga.

Actually, wing road is the worst. It started out sensible with maneuverability in midair stuff. But after training with Sora, wind became practically Ki/Chakra/Mana/Spiral power.
The other roads take real physics, and bend them like fuck, and twist them into nonsense. Wing road doesn't base itself on anything from physics. Ikki/Sora is one with the wind, that's why he can control it with his hands. That's the only explanation we've got. Really, tornados? Because they're one with the wind? And Ikki is one with the wind because he was saved by a goddamn crow? I see. That makes sense, OG. You're a genius. And this spiderman shit, WTF?

But AG stopped making sense in chapter 3, so yeah, no one's reading this for genuinely fascinating plot and moral ponderings.

And there's almost certainly some sort of explanation that involves the use of ATs to increase the power of your movements, like how Cyclops Hammer used his ATs to give him his absurd, wall-busting strength.

Nice and snazzy words and all, but you didn't explain the wind thing. Yes, we all know Ikki sees the wind with his godmod plot eyes. But the fucking question is how does he control it. Overly Ringo Obsessed Canon did remake the Thorn Regalia didn't he? since it was completely destroyed he probably had to remake the core too. And Kururu is still trying to complete the Storm Reggy which also means making a core, so they could just make a new core for the Rumble, assuming Bucca get's the title, they would have had to make a new Rumble Regalia anyway coz they won't fit his feet.
