Romance in Air Gear, no matter how you see it is plot-device. The nudity and sexual jokes are only to attract audience. Oh!Great used Simca repeatedly for this. This is first and foremost a shounen manga and in these manga, love falls into secondary fate. If there's ONE relationship (be careful NOT pairing) that can be both romantical AND serious, that's IkKixRingo. And now it's slowly getting away from the one-sided phase. Ikki was electrified from the kiss Ringo gave him.

Other serious romances are RikaxSoraxKilik (interesting triangle) and SpiritFirexMikiami, but these are old loves that ended, either because of death or betrayal. I'm quite sure that when the story will start to revolve faster, the Rika-Sora-Kilik interaction will brake many hearts. I'm expecting Ringo and Ikki to share a deep bond until the end, but I don't know if Oh!Great will actually show the romance actually happening, even though their relationship clearly leads to this.

Akito's homosexuality is also something to look on, but I always thought of it as a one-sided crush and teasing on Ikki, rather than a full-blown relationship. Agito is asexual until now, but not loveless, which is interesting as well; there are a lot of possibilities for him.

KazuxEmily evolves slowly but gradually, I'm optimistic about this.

Um...In all honesty, I can't say that I'm completely comfortable around gay people. Just cause it feels awkward to be around them. I don't think it would make sense for Yayoi to be Akito/Agito/Lind's tuner, since Akito can do that himself. Unless Akito decides not to tune for Lind...Then it would make sense. But I believe that the one Yayoi has a crush on is Agito, not Lind. According to that chart one of the chapters had, anyways. <.<

Gees most of the "relationships" in this manga are fu**ed up. The only two that aren't really fucked up are Ikki and Kururu (give that one time) and Kazu and Emily. Course the Kazu Emily one is still kind of fu**ed up, he's too stupid to notice she likes him, and she's too chicken to tell him. But that's not as fu**ed up as say Rika and the Murderer, Ikki and S.O. Nike and S.O. or Ikki and Ringo. Everybody in this manga seems to have some kind of emotional or psychological problem. Maybe O.G. likes the whole teen angst thing.

By the way I'm surprised nobody has posted that relationship chart.

I don't remember what vol, all I remember is that it showed all the characters and who they're linked with. It linked Rika and the murderer, Kilik with the murderer and Kilik with S.O. and if I remember Buccha and some chick, that I can't remember her name.
