i gonna have to say this is my all time favorite series.

i watched the anime and it was sweet
the music is dope
the manga is awesome..
its too bad the series isn't as popular as it should be. if it was, the chapter releases wouldn't be so few and far between (thank you phase3 if you're out there)


but yeah anyway, anyone else watch/read this series?

im pretty sure its a popular series because every time phase3 releases a chp there are like 5x as many comments as their other releases i think their are less people doing scans for it because its
a monthly manga with 45-60 pgs per chp usally so its seems like its a lot more work

but yep this is definetly one of my top 3 favorite series ever
alongside evangellion and s-cry-ed

Beck is a great manga. Its not all about music, it has lots more matters which makes it even greater.

I even bought a telecaster after they talked about it in the anime
and they have my favorite rock band, the Pillows, appear in it =D

the series was just so realistic (you know what I mean) and portrayed everything so clearly, without trying to hide the troubles that starting bands encounter.

and despite the fact that Belle Ame was supposed to not be "real rock", I still like their song that they played in the live house - Lost Melody
I admit, I was an Eiji fan (nobody else in the series could even come close to his level of hot)

I've only so far learned Follow Me and Slip out
Lost Melody is too complicated </3

I'll have to read the manga sometime.

omg the manga is so much better and the manga is like fifty or more chapters ahead of the tv series plus they left out a lot of stuff in the show like in one episode i think they went through a whole sixty page chapter in 3 minutes

Yeah the manga is way too great than the anime.
But I recommend to watch the anime first before reading the manga so you have the idea on what music they are playing the manga hee-hee!

And I love, I adore Ryuusuke so much!!!

I love this manga so much...another one of those times where you just can't stop reading. I like how the art style improved drastically from beginning to the current chapters. Plus, I like thinking of the music in my head. The references to great musicians/instruments always makes me happy :D

SO much Beck love. It's an underdog series, but it makes it feel more personal, y'know? It's got a slightly older feel to the art style as well which i quite like.

I wish i could buy Taira's Musicman Stingray!

That bassis pretty killer, although I would take Ryuusuke's Les Paul anyday! I wish I could have it, it looks soooo sweet! Hey does anyone know any other Manga like this one? I've read all the raw chapters up to 96 (it gets reeeaaalll good!) and I wanted to start another music one, besides Nodame Cantible
