I just started to reread the entire series. And i noticed a couple things. Like the wheels the old man gives him say welcome to nightmare. Is he referring to the nightmare of the air gear world i was kind of thinking that was a little forshadowing of what was to come. And the tower of tropheaum doesnt he show that to ikki in like chapter 3. But we dont know its a tower yet cause it just looks like a giant whole. And who is the old man anyways?

Well he is the principal of Ikki's school but he's a whole lot more than just that. I wanna know too.

cleary with the wheels he gave ikki and fact that he runs a shop that had the wind regalia he must be someone great and important.

my thoughts:
the welcome to the nightmare means as far as i can guess, the nightmare of the wind regalia, if i remember correctly its like ur flying on wings made of all the people uve defeated or something like that, on the skeletons of all those who have failed or something like that cant remember, and when ikki used the wind regalia he turned into a completely different person, id go as far to say evil :P even ringo noticed it after he put on the wind regalia she was like this isnt the same ikki i knew

as for who he is...i dunno...

yeah but......

With Bagaram's infinite atmosphere you are not riding on those you have defeated or anything, is like riding on the wings of Reapers is what Oh Great depicted it as. But my guess is the old had some king of connection with the AT research years ago at the bottom of the tower. He knows to much not to be somewhat involved. And also Ikki did change he seemed "darker" if you would say.I'm guessing the same thing happened to Sora and corrupted him so much

is kururu making a new regalia for ikki?! cause the Baghram doesn't fit Ikki anyway :P

Bagram is a US military air base as far as i know (googled it)
and yes the Bagram did continously whisper into Ikkis ears for more more destruction...and during that he didnt think of anything else too... but even tahn he never hurt Kururu (owned)

@Parina
thats what everyone is guessing...

thats the Bagram that he took from Sora after beating him...he gave it the shop seller who later gave it to Ikki when he first visited the shop...i guess the shop-seller alraedy knew about Ikkis potential...and as for the principle...he gave the name of the new Stormking so he is quite an important guy..and has a nice secret room too

yeah but when the creepy lady at gemsum or whatever gave the bagram to ikki...didn't it show her writing "welcome to nightmare" herself on them before she gave them to him??? so maybe they're not the same

I didn't remember that >.>
And on the topic of Bagaram's destructive potential...
in the latest chapter it shows just exactly it's true potential with Sora and the destructive force that comes with it. Kind of is a nightmare O.o

The person who wrote 'Welcome to Nightmare' on the Bagram core was the person who gave them to Sora in the first place. (Ch. 118)

thanks for the info ^^although if u check it the post that i was replying with that question stated that the shop lady that held onto it till than was handing Ikki a fake pair of bagram wheels since he saw that the lady herself wrote on the wheels...and that was what i never saw happening thats why i asked where it was...
