Simca's age...?

I know she's regularly referred to as a sex offender around here and i always mention that i redo her age in my mind..

but i was reading volume 3 published by Del Ray, at the end of the volume they have Simca's original concept art and a short bio telling you her measurements and what not, but the Bio also mentions she's about 17, idk how accurate Del Ray is because they seem to be the best manga distributer (i've bought from Viz,Tokyo pop and Del Ray) i've ever bought manga from

does anyone own the original japanese manga and know if it says the same? or is Del Ray accurate enough?

Simce being 17 would make her a second gen grav child because that's Mikan's age. Also the driving age is 18 in Japan so obviously she's 18 or older since Kiric drives. All first gen grav children are over the age of 18. Also a concept art doesn't mean anything OG obviously changed a lot since then.

OG might have thought of making her that age when he first started but changed things. Also add the fact that would have made Kiric like 5 years old when they escaped the tower. Since him and Sora are almost the same height when you see them after they escaped I don't think he was 5 when they escaped. Also take a look at the battle between OSF and Koga that should be Kiric about the age when he defeated Sora. Does he look like he's 11 years old in those pictures? For the stories sake that would make absolutely no sense for her or Kiric to be that age. But hell most of the story doesn't make sense so he can make her whatever age he wants it doesn't have to make sense.

I always figured Simca to be around Rika's age...or maybe slightly younger. So I say early 20s...

Didn't it say Rika was 8 when she got Ikki who was still a baby? Yeah I always saw Simca as being 19,20 or 21. I always thought Kiric was younger then Sora but only by a year or two. But we'll never know since OG probably won't reveal their ages, since making anybody in the first gen younger then 20 would make no sense.
