Chika new version (my short return)

Hi!!

Well, it's been a while, I'm pretty busy even now but I feel relieved and happy to see everyone is going well... So what's up, you would ask ? ^_^
I remember Smoosh's character for Air Gear RP recently, I mean Chika... Since I felt inspired for this character I decided to draw a colored version of her.
I have changed the design a bit and this is a WIP but I hope to finish it someday... The character at least since the background will remain blurred I think. Smoosh will be able to use this picture as an avatar, lol...
I guess I may do other ones when done with this.
To tell you the truth, it's been a while I didn't do CG drawings thus I wanted to practice again with this illustration. Just hope it won't end up in a mess... Or remain unfinished...
I really want to improve more and more.

I’m still simply amazed by your work; Chika’s posture is breathtaking.
The hair, is sexy, that’s all I can really say, the orange works wonderfully, makes it look badass.

Honestly, I envy Smoosh; I’d gladly lop off a limp for the opportunity of you drawing my Character. And she got it, TWICE! XD.

This is a bit of a newer style then im used to seeing of your work.
It's more Detailed in places, yet less in others.
I like the way you did simple strokes all over the art instead of the usual lines and color. It gives a more abstract feel then it does realistic.
Yet when you add in those small details to the face and on the AT's it changes its feel. Realistic yet Abstract.
The smudging is done nicely though. Only thing I can think of to make this better would be to put in a few dark outlines. Not many cause it would ruin the abstract feel of it.

Well Done Man. I hope to see more from you in the future.

Lol, sorry everyone, I just got inspired so I wanted to draw something so badly about Air Gear RP...
But I may take some submissions again... I just hope there won't be that much people interested in my works to ask this favor, heh...

The art is great. I love the manipulation of the focus bringing attention to the face and the pose is great in terms of dynamism. The palette works great, too. Wish you'd be about more on dA and here and even your own site. Outlaw Players is great. Anyway, good to see you back, even if it's just for a little bit.

Well, this is not that complicated, I use Photoshop CS... But you need to practice to improve on this.
Otherwise, I wanted to post some sketch for AIR GEAR RP characters here, just like Itami, Karin's Air RP character...
Of course, I have drawn the design following some reference Karine gave to me but I have added some changes ^_^ ...
Hope it will please to you and I don't know if I'll do a colored version...
I guess I'll do another one later so who will be the next one ? One at a time, please.

LoL, but seriously, shonen, the artwork you’ve displayed is absolutely incredible, and so, I wanted to make a request.

Would it be ok, if we used some of the finished Characters you’ve done in the past, and used them for our Air Gear Text-based RP Advertisement Cover, that could be released with each Scanlated Manga Chapter?

It would look amazing, and of course, all credit for the Art would go to you.

I love the changes you made, especially to her outfit. You gave her a bit more character. The ribbons movement, the pose, the simple smile, All so elegant yet completely insync with each other.

lol nice pic. Man I had never heard about you and here I finally get to witness your genius all at once lol. I always love seeing people's RPCs get drawn. It's always cool to see original work for characters we put so much work into from a literary perspective. Honestly I'd love to see your perspective on Jarnt's character...he is afterall an RPC I meet on a regular basis in the RP. Continue the awesome work dude, I must admit I'd love to be able to draw like that...Would make imagining characters in my head that much easier.

Karin : hmm... Now that the design is done, I guess what I can do is to ink the original sketch ^_^ ... A cleaning version I mean and for the colored version, I have to finish Chika first (got much works for the moment) but you can already tell me what kind of color you want for your RPC ^_^ . Just be simple, I'll take care of the overall thingy. Oh yes, I forgot to mention this but it is possible for me to send the original picture dedicaced and all but to make sure the piece to be delivered in good condition, I make it plastified ^_- ... So, if you are willing to get the original design, I can send it to you, no problem.
Vincent Steel : I understand what you mean but we have to know this is from a personal point of view... I see people are curious to witness how I can manage to design their character but there may be differences between your vision and mine... Thus, this is always a good thing when you can draw your own character ^_^ !! You can't be disappointed at all (well, that's not true but correct in most of the case).

Well, if you ever feel inspired to do so, I'd be absolutely honored if you'd do my character. If you never get around to it then I understand, I know many people request your art. I don't want to be a bother. I'm not asking to be one of the next ones you do, just if you ever get around to it.
