i don't get this, so plz help me o.O

i've never done a text-based rpg, and i tried looking at the rules and stuff, but i don't rlly get how to do it. can any1 try and explain how the whole thing works, then i can just pick up the different details from the threads.

Step by step, what you do is:

1. First of all, you need to register a Roleplaying Character. Go into the RPG Section of the forums, and create a new thread for your ideal character following the format provided in the following link:

2. After you've created the thread, the RPG Moderators will eventually take a look at it, and either approve of it, or give you advice on what's lacking in your Application.

3. Once you've been accepted by the RPG mods, You can start Rping with everyone else

The best thing to do while you're waiting to get accepted is to sit tight, wait, and edit your App as best as you can until the mods get to it. Bitching, Moaning, and Nagging at the mods in the end usually just annoys them, and causes them to push your App to the end of the line of App's they're checking

4. Once you're into the RP, you got to follow some rules. Pretty much, they are:

You can only create 1 Thread per day, but you can join as many as you like

These are the Thread Types you can create:
-Self Training (Posting with privately with yourself. You can post in here once every 24 hours. You get 1 TP per each Paragraph, a Paragraph being at least 5 sentences, with 10 words in each sentence)

-Open Training (Posting with other people, the only rule is that you just can't double post. You get 1 TP per each Paragraph)

-Special Training (Kinda like a Private Session between you and your mentor, You get 2x the TP per paragraph)

-Team Training (Training with your team if you have one, You get 1.5 TP per paragraph)

5. After you've done all your posts, eventually you can go Claim all that TP you've racked, and convert it into SP to raise your stats. Go into the SP Claim Thread (click here (http://www.lounge.sorascans.com/showthread.php?t=202&page=121)) and follow the same format everyone else is:

Username

RPC Name
Total SP Claimed

Proof (basically you link the threads that you're claiming TP from, including the Post # which can be found in the upper right corner of your post, in order to give proof to the mods)

Afterwards, the mods will get around to checking it, and you can go into your App and raise your stats.
