For Kumiko's style of tuning, one could compare it to a doctor before strategic surgery or a professional cook making those last minute touches to their master piece. Every little thing is taken into careful consideration as she works and she always seems to know where each and every piece she needs to work with happens to be. When tuning, she prefers to set how tools out around her like a doctor would with their tools. When it comes to how she carries her tools around, she is usually seen with her messenger bag which carries not only her everyday items, but her tuners tools. Because of her mixed heritage, Kumiko is not one to fade into the scene when it comes to appearances. Her taller height sets her apart for one then next would be her long frame and mixed features that would definitely let people know she's not 100% japanese. While she has her japanese features such as the skin color, the eyes, hair, etc... She has the distinct french facial structure and size that sets her apart as not being pure japanese, but regardless makes her beautiful to many. While she doesn't glorify it with her clothing, Kumiko does indeed have a well shaped and toned body. While she doesn't have the biggest curves, she indeed has some but the part of her body that she takes pride in would be the muscle she has gained. It's not to say she is the bulky monster, rather she is extremely toned due to years of dancing, running, and other exercising. It's definitely a body she can be proud of regardless of how many sweets she eats.
When it comes to clothing, Kumiko tends to stick the "traditional" female look. Wearing mostly dresses or skirts with a turtleneck. Overall History:
To start the story, Aoi was once a wealthy man that gave up all his riches to be with a woman he met once on a business trip. They had fallen in love and decided to give up the luxurious life to start a family in the countryside of Japan. 2 years later, Kumiko was born. Of course, being the only child was shortly lived, 3 years later her first brother was born, 1 year later her next brother, 4 years her sister. But to rewind, ever since she was old enough, since she was the eldest, she was expected to help her mother out with all chores and care-taking, because of that she grew up quickly. Of course any free time, she would do with as she pleased, but for the most part she was expected to take care of the family along with her mother.
2 years after her sister's birth, Kumiko's mother passed away due to a car accident, leaving 10 year old Kumiko to step in as a mother. This lifestyle of taking car of her siblings continued for all her life, getting them ready before her and taking them all to school (her father getting a serious job to cope with the grief). Kumiko enjoyed her life, regardless of living a live like other teenagers when the time came, she became the mother of her family (minus some sick incest story with her father, that'd be gross). Kumiko didn't have time to have things such as boyfriends and the like when she had to take care of 3 siblings and her father. Of course, at night, when everyone was taken care of, Kumiko would take her remaining free time to commit to her hobbies such as running, ballet, or studying(which was rare, her work almost always being completed right away).
This lifestyle continued until not too long ago. Her father had been offered a much better position in Tokyo, Japan. He gladly accepted, wanting to get away from Okinawa and everything it reminded him off. So with that, the family packed and was swept off to Tokyo. It's now that Kumiko starts a new life, and she has yet to learn all that is in store for her new life. Unexpected things around every corner! What will happen to her in Tokyo? How will she cope with the city life?! All these things are unknown, but she is ready to take it all on.
