one of my first sketches

so...i'm tryin to make a portrait for my character...i'm not the best artist so feel free to give any advice...below i based it on one of my friends drawin...i can't draw eyes [it looks soooo weird], folds/creases [the scarf belt, silk cords on arms, and the jeans], or hands [hence the arm on the right is a bit weird xD]...nor shade =[

put up my colored version...i can't shade/highlight/make it look pretty so that'll do for now xD

All I can say is that you just need to smoothen the edges a bit more since you have already corrected yourself in some other mistakes, but yeah, that's all I can think of for now. XP Anywho, I'll be anxious to see some other sketches of yours in the future!

It's really good. I'd make the hand a little bigger, but that's it. Proportions are so hard.

I think the face is good, I like the eyes. You've definitely got talent. If you need any help with coloring or anything I'd be happy to help. ^_^

thanks for the comments everyone =D...i'll keep the eyes like that for now and redraw the hands...then i'll go attempt to color it xD...since i'm not a big PS fan i might depend on my box of trust color pencils..hehe

you have to work at the arms and hands, but all in all it's very good ^^
