I want to learn Japanese, I tried way back, but not having any one to talk to in it...kinda made it difficult. I use to know a bunch of words and phrases, but it's been so long since I've used any of them that I've forgotten most of it. I need to find someone to learn with, so I can get it down. XP I also use to know a bunch of German words, but same problem.
Took two years of Spanish in high school, still know bits and pieces of it.

I speak ENGLISH;; afkjalkjf... and Cantonese. XD
I'm currently taking Spanish (and what's sad is that I am the only person in my class who does NOT know Spanish ;_; I'm a lonely pickle) and will most likely be taking Japanese by the summer.

Mandarin - it's my life:love:
English
Bahasa Melayu/Malaysia
Japanese
Cantonese
Dialect : Hakka, Hokkien
Bits of : German, Italian, French, Korean
Want to learn : Arab (i only know how to write 1,2,3.. and a few syllable...), Spanish, Tamil (it's fun to write tamil~!), sanskrit, egypt...
"Frequency" (to interpret what conversation the plants and animals are having)
>Recently hearing buzz in my ears, and man, it's painful...
How is taiwanese different from mandarin? Trying to imitate mandarin like how those people in china and taiwan speak... their way of speaking mandarin is pure music to my ears...:note:

Taiwanese is a lot different from Mandarin.
It's also known as Hoklo
Apparently it has influence from Japan O_o
ex:
mandarin: I = wo
taiwanese: I = wa
mandarin: sorry = dui bu chi
taiwanese: sorry = shi leh
and some last names are spelled differently
mandarin: xie
taiwanese: hsieh
basically x- changes to hs-
there's more, but I can't think of them off the top of my head
hope this was helpful :B

Thanx for the explanation~~!!
But i think i know a bit~~ It sounds like hokkien...
I've also seen taiwanese dramas where they used the mother tongue..
Yea yea... I remember~~ lolz... my mom's favourite, lolz...
And man~!! I've to mention this:
I was listening to the radio in the morning - in the car - on my way to school--
So, I heard this really cute and simple song!!! It's like multi-lingual~!!!
It's so creative~~ the lyric is a combination of mandarin, japanese, korean, bahasa melayu, filipino and english~!!! It was lovely!!
It was sung by this new group called Boyz Frenz of which it is consisted of 4 male members with different citizenship - namely Malaysia (Jackson), Singapore (Darren), Brunei (Desmond) and the Phillipines (Lance)~~
Haha.. nice concept... hope they'll have more good songs like the one i heard to please my ears~~ don't disappoint me!!

I've always been too lazy when it came to learning languages.
Languages I speak fluently:
English
Hindi
Tamil
I also know a little Marathi and Malayalam, plus a few words of sanskrit, latin, elvish and dwarvish and varoius miscallaneous languages.
But like I said, I'm lazy at learning them, or I'd know several more. Both my parents speak 6-8 languages each.:gasp:
