Kirin Road
Base: Flame/Lather/Rising/Wing/Gaia
Regalia: Flame/Water/Lighting/Wind/Gem
Requires: Speed that is at least twice as much as your Stamina.
Even in ages past, martial artist have based their different styles of Kung Fu on different animals. They would then imitate the animals’ habits, attacking styles as well as the nature of the animal. The Kirin Road works in the same way. For this road, the rider is expected to imitate the Kirin as much as possible.
The Kirin is a fabled creature from Chinese Mythology. It is often portrayed with the head of a dragon, antlers of a deer, scales of a fish, the hooves of an ox and the tail of a lion. Although it usually looks fearsome, it is a peaceful creature that only attacks the wicked. In old folk stories, it is said that the Kirin can walk on grass yet not trample the blades and it can also walk on water. It is normally gentle but can become fierce if a pure person is threatened by a sinner, spouting flames from its mouth and exercising other fearsome powers that vary from story to story. Some stories state that the Kirin is a sacred pet (or familiar) of the deities. Therefore, in the hierarchy of dances performed by the Chinese (Lion Dance, Dragon Dance, Phoenix Dance, etc.), the Kirin ranks highly; second only to the Dragon and Phoenix who are the highest.
Riders of this road, like the Kirin, value righteousness and honour over everything else. They are normally pacifists that do not thirst for blood, in which case, during battles, evasion is top priority. Hence, speed is a must for this road. Yes, that means that if you want to ride this road, you can’t have a mindset that is similar to Fang riders. In fact, you must have to exact opposite mindset.
Since the Kirin is said to be a creature that can walk on water and avoid trampling the blades of grass, the riders are expected to ride in a somewhat graceful manner. When they ride, they give the impression that their gliding across pretty much everything.
The main reason why riders ride this road is to tell the world that they want to uphold the honour of Stormriders, or rather the honour that all Stormriders should have. If their self dignity or team honour is on the line, they will go all out in order to salvage it. If challenged, they will accept without hesitation. This, of course, doesn’t mean they’ll send the opposing team to the hospital. Again, they’re pacifists. They will only exchange blows when it is absolutely necessary. Strength is not a critical stat to them. Cube battles, on the other hand, requires one to do close combat. In situations like these, they have no choice but to fight or whatever ;honour' they have goes pretty much down the drain. They will always play a clean game. Cheating is more than just frowned upon.
The Kirin ranks the highest after the Dragon and Phoenix. Therefore, Kirin riders are not ambitious. Their goal in life is not ‘to overthrow the XXX king’. However, this does not mean that your regalia is safe from them. In the Qin Dynasty, it's definitely stated that the Kirin ranks third in the hierarchy but in the Zhou Dynasty, they ranked first (with phoenix coming in second and dragon in third). Kingship would be nice but Kirin riders have more important things to do.
So far, we’ve pretty much only covered the principles that the Kirin riders hold but not their style in riding. This is where the base roads come in. In ancient history, Kirins are often associated with the five different elements of nature: Fire, Water, Lighting, Air and Earth. Therefore, you’re base can be anyone of the five elemental roads (but you only get ONE). One must state clearly at the beginning about which base you’re following. If you’re a Rising Kirin or a Gaia Kirin, then say so. The Kirin road is an evolutionary road because they have evolved from just riding their original road to wanting to do so much more. For example, you used to ride the flame road whose only purpose is to go at a blinding speed. Now you want to use that blinding speed to uphold righteousness and honour.
In conclusion, riders that want to follow the Kirin road have to be able to die to protect what they believe in because their principles is what sets aside them from all others, otherwise, they would be like any rider following the base roads. It has to be in your character’s characteristics to want to uphold these things. You can’t follow the Kirin road just because it’s 'cool' or anything.
You live by your principles, you fight by your principles and you die by your principles.
A-T Information:
°°Ever since day one, Arashi had his heart set on riding with Roller Ball Air Treks, the primary reason being the fact that they look no different from normal shoes. This makes it convenient to the point where he has the flexibility to wear it at any given time to any function. Arashi's Roller Balls are a shade of dull grey so as not to attract too much attention. Amazingly enough, the pair he wears today are the exact same ones he started with. Through months of hard practice and extensive riding, Arashi has now become a master in handling a pair of Roller Ball Air Treks. It's no longer necessary for him to have to lock his wheels whenever he wants to walk or skip.

°°Meh… I never liked this section. Anyways… one thing a person has to grasp about Arashi is that he looks like two very different people when during the day and during the night. When the sun is up, the words sloppy, messy and untidy fly into the mind. His hair is a total mess as he can’t be bothered to comb it when he’s so tired. But because his blonde hair is slightly longer than average and on top of that, quite obedient, it doesn’t usually look too bad. His eyes are usually half-closed, as if opening them anymore than necessary would be too much of an effort. His school uniform is never ironed. Sometimes, it might even be buttoned wrongly. And need I comment on his facial expression during the day? One can only make so many expressions when he’s half asleep. If he absolutely needs to move about during the day, he has to drag his feet to keep from falling over or tripping. It takes awhile for anything to register in his head when he’s in this state so when talking with him, you’ll have to be very patient. Replies take a long time to form in his head and even longer a time to say aloud. The Melodic air of a Piano is probably the only thing that can catch his attention when in this mode. Also, during the day, he can be seen almost always carrying a stack of music sheet under his arm.
When the sun goes down and the stars come out to play is usually when Arashi starts being his real self again. His hair is properly arranged and styled so that it looks like every strand is in its right place. At night, he is out of his wrinkled uniform and into a nice makeshift suit. He wears a black jacket over a white undershirt and black pants to boot. On rare occasions, he would opt to wear a black long coat in place of his jacket. If you have trouble picturing that then think: Casanova. A smile is always present on his face unless of course, he’s attending something like a funeral where it’s unsuitable to smile. In rare situations like these, he wears a solemn but not entirely sad expression. He remembers courtesies. He’ll look sad when it’s simply courteous to do so. But because people either don’t stay awake long enough or don’t recognize him after his change in attitude, he’s usually passed off as a lazy idiot.

Overall Personality:
°°Alrighty then, where to start? Well, I suppose to most obvious place to start would be: After reading his likes, dislikes, hobbies and goal, I’d like the clear one thing up front. No, Arashi is not a pervert, a womanizer maybe, but not a pervert, alright? Okay? Now that we have that settled, moving on. Arashi can basically be summed up as the perfect gentleman. Being raise in a rich family, Arashi was educated in politics and etiquettes ever since he could walk and talk. Courting women and being polite are probably second nature to him. Though it is his habit and nature to sweet talk and to charm the ladies, Arashi keeps a tight rein on his emotions, never letting the relationship between him and a girl get out of hand. His affiliation with every female that he has ever courted stops there, at simple honey-coated words. Even after spending time with so many women, not once did the thought of actually settling down permanently with a special someone ever really cross his mind. He lives to make them happy, yes, but if you’re looking for something much deeper and more intimate with him, no. He is not a man of romance related commitments. One might say that he was doomed to forever be a bachelor. But no, he is not one to toy with a girl’s heart. If faced with the situation, he will, very bluntly and frankly (yet politely), reject her feelings. One cannot court the world if one dedicates his heart to that one specific person.
Despite not being a man interested romantic commitments, he takes the promises he makes extremely seriously. When he says the magic words ‘I promise I’ll …’, he will go all out to make that thing happen, no matter what he has to do. However! Yes, there is a ‘however’. However, this only means that Arashi will not make promises carelessly. You get to hear to words ‘I promise I’ll try…’ quite often but only when Arashi is extremely sure that he’ll be able to perform and complete the task assigned will he really promise, which unfortunately, doesn’t happen that often. It’s because of his attitude towards promises that make his expect much from other people, sometimes too much… When you promise him something, he’ll expect that thing to happen. You won’t lose any teeth or family members if you fail to keep your promise but you will find it tremendously hard to earn back his sense of trust in you. And while we’re on the topic of trust, because most of the people Arashi has met in his life are mostly sharks, people who will eat you when they decide that you no longer hold any benefit from them, Arashi tends to keep at a distance from people. He has realized that the deeper one digs, the uglier human nature becomes. Arashi’s friendship with people are but on the surface. It will not grow personal if he can help it.
Arashi gives the impression that he’s very… detached from the world, as if what happens in the world is none of his concern. As long as the world doesn’t interfere with his own tiny bubble of happiness, he won’t bother with the world’s affairs. Some say ‘Ignorance is a bliss’, Arashi agrees with them. The world is just too depressing and too disappointing so why bother with it? Arashi is aware that not many people think like him, hence their world is filled with worries and troubles. That may be why Arashi is so hell bent on making people happy, especially women, whose heart can be easily shattered. He who was born into the world of politics knows how bad people and the world can get. He refuses to accept politics. In fact, he despises it; he is thoroughly sickened by it. That’s why Arashi is considered a rebellious child in his family. Though a natural genius at this game, he refuses to participate in it. He is the eldest son of a political family that refuses to take up a mantle that will be eventually his. It doesn’t bother him one bit that his family’s political credit and reputation will die at his hands. In fact, it might be the exact opposite.
Arashi shows a very cheerful and carefree attitude. The phrases ‘go with the flow’ and ‘happy go lucky’ describe his personality perfectly. That is… when he’s awake… Erm… How to put this? People would say that he’s a vampire. No, they’re not referring to the blood sucking part, more towards the nocturnal part. Although Arashi only discovered the world of Air Treks very recently in his life, he is thoroughly addicted to it. He rides when the moon is high in the sky until the sun takes its place. Yes, Arashi is human. He needs his eight hours of sleep every day. He just cannot phantom how other riders seem to be able to ride all night and still look bright and shinning the next morning. It was… inhumane! As a result of his new found addiction, he is always late for school. And even if he does make it to class before the last period ends, he can often be found sleeping on his desk, in some random shaded area or (if he can manage to drag his body up) on the roof. Meh… Arashi was never really a morning person anyway, makes not much difference. The teachers don’t seem to mind though… as long as he stays awake long enough to ace his exams, its fine with them. He would be that perfect courting gentleman by day as well if only he could stay awake long enough… Mmhmm, messy sleepy head by day, groomed prince by night. Weird, no?
Was he always this tardy? Actually… yes. Even before Air treks fell into his life, Arashi was obsessed with playing the piano. How obsessed? Well, let’s put it this way. When you walk into his room, you wouldn’t be able to see the floor because it would be covered with sheet music. So even before he discovered Air Treks, he would be late for classes anyway so nobody notices the difference. Unlike the piano, Arashi has zero talent in Air Treks but he loves them equally. To Arashi, there were always only two reasons for Arashi to go back home after riding. One was so that he could return to his grand piano and the other was so that he could see his younger sister. And yes, you’ve guessed it. Arashi is that kind of overprotective older brother although his acts of love for his younger sister are usually done in the shadows. One could consider Kaguya is the most important person in his life, the sole girl that he’d risk his life to protect. Jealous, ne? lol…
Arashi is very calm and collected. Usually, the only expression you see on his face is a smile. Even if you had just scolded him, or had a fight with him (make note that the fight will be one-sided.). He’s a pacifist. He will not raise his voice, he will not fight back and he will definitely not resort to violence. This trait also applies to the Air Trek world as well as seen in his stats. He is purely a speed rider. Evading and running away from a blow is top priority. Although some might call this cowardice but Arashi, plainly speaking, doesn’t care. He sticks by his policies no matter what people say. He has clear head of what he wants to do, what he needs to do and is required to do. Yes, there is a difference between ‘need’ and ‘required’. As long as your target of hatred is him, he will not use any sort of direct or indirect way to take revenge on you. Revenge is just too boring for him to be bothered by it. However, if you were someone that was just trying to do something not very nice to a lady friend of his, he won’t be as peace loving. This applies especially to Kaguya. But if you’re a guy friend that was in trouble, he’ll most probably think that you would like your masculine pride intact so he’ll just leave it up to you to settle your fight. Good luck, ne?
But just because he doesn’t fight back on show it on his face, doesn’t mean that he doesn’t get hurt alright? He has a heart and with that, comes along human feelings. He feels things like sadness, hurt, pain, bitterness, pride, anger and so on and so forth. And just like any other human being, he doesn’t like those negative feelings. He does have a temper and he has a limit, although no one has really reached it yet. But if you positively, absolutely, definitely have to use him as a punching bag, both violently and non-violently, then fine. He won’t object to it. You can use him to take out your negative feelings. After all, he’s dedicated his life to making people, specifically females, happy. Arashi tends to put himself last in any situation anyway. Why spread sadness and sufferings among many people when you can just accumulate them all on one person so that hundred more can be happy. Even if he only manages to make two people happier than they could have been in his entire life, it would be worth it, no? Guys, on the other hand, can go find their real punching bags in their room. He doesn’t cater for them. Bottom line, it would be just gay if he did. If you asked Arashi why he would do such things, he would probably only say that he sympathizes more than he gets enraged. The world is too cruel and life is too short. Do you feel your heart melting yet? Just kidding…
It is not in Arashi’s nature to work hard, being more of the go with the flow guy. But despite this weakness of his, he is still able to excel in things like his studies. He has learnt that if he continues to perform well in whatever he attempts, he is left alone by his relatives who are not too pleased with his attitude. Lucky him, he has photographic memory. Using his ability to memorize anything he sees, he is able to score well during tests. It is also because of this that he hasn’t been expelled from his school yet. As long as he is able to bring pride and honor to his family name and school, the elders don’t bother with him. However, that doesn’t stop them from coming around his parents’ house every now and then to complain about the way he chooses to live. Frankly speaking, he is sick of them. At one point in life, he would still be courteous enough to sit in the living room in the opposite couch and listen to them drag on and on about how important it is to live this way and that but now, he doesn’t care anymore. Every time his family gathers for one reason or another, Arashi has the habit of disappearing from the main room right after necessary greetings are done. Where does Arashi escape to? His soundproof piano room, of course. And by the time he finishes his ‘practice session’, the last of the guests would have already left. What a pity… not…
Alright… phew… Last thing: habits. If there is one thing that he annoys people more than his tendency not to fight back in any situation, it’s his habit of overusing, or simply abusing, the word ‘probably’. He sticks this word in as an afterthought after any sentence that he thinks will fit it. This applies especially when people ask him questions. The question: ‘Do you think will happen tonight?’ Answer: ‘Yea… probably’. For someone who’s very clear on what he wants to do physically, there is no definite air when he’s talking casually. I don’t know about you but I find that extremely annoying. Another one of his habits is to play ‘the gentleman’s game’. In essence, he will not cheat, he will not twist, he will not trick. No hidden aces up his sleeves. He plays a clean game wherever he goes, even on the Air Trek field. He does not set up sneaky strategies beforehand and he most definitely will not rig the course to his advantage. I guess some would call this stupid and others would call it admirable. Again, he doesn’t really care what people think of him. His last noteworthy habit is his ‘fondness’ to take the blame. In his mind, either you gloriously accomplished something or you failed miserably at it. And if you failed, then it was your fault. Thinking otherwise would be trying to make up excuses and therefore, un-gentleman like.

Birthplace: --- Tokyo
Birthdate: --- 25th January
Birthtime: --- 7: 43 p.m.
Parents: ---
Father: Tadashi Shunsuke
°°Arashi’s father is a very uptight and strict man, accepting nothing but the best in everything. He’s a stickler for tradition and takes morals very seriously. He is a feared man both in the business and political world. In the entire family, Tadashi is probably the one most disappointed in his son’s behavior. Therefore, he reduces his relationship with his son to ‘he is the heir to my company’, nothing more, nothing less. He educates him, clothes him and feeds him but that’s only because he feels it’s his responsibility as a father to do so. Beyond that, he doesn’t see the need to spend time with Arashi nor to bond with him. Arashi is often told that he’s a mirror image of his father. Arashi also inherited his father’s sense of responsibility.
Mother: Yuzuki Shunsuke
°°Yuzuki is a very gentle and loving person. Though she cannot say that she is pleased with how her son acts, she will not hesitate to say that she still loves him. She loves her children equally but is closer with Kaguya then Arashi mostly because Arashi stays away from his parents. She respects her husband’s decisions and fully supports what he does. She has a master degree in music. Yuzuki has no absolute occupation but is very well versed in politics, often helping her husband in his career. Arashi probably gained his pacifism and love for classical music from his mother.
Siblings: ---
Younger sister: Kaguya Shunsuke
°°Kaguya is Arashi’s sole sibling. She is the preferred child in the family. Both obedient and respectful, she is the ideal child of the Shunsuke family. Although she doesn’t have even half of Arashi’s natural talent, she tries hard to meet her parents’ expectations and wishes. Because of the way her brother acts, she is afraid of being rebellious. She thinks that if she acts similar to her brother, it will push her parents too far. In simple words, she has to make up for what her brother lacks. She is afraid of defying anything her parents say and ask of her. At some point in time, Arashi became aware of how she thought. Although he feels thoroughly guilty for ruining his sister’s life, he doesn’t have the faintest desire to change the way he acts. But Arashi is human; his guilt leads him to care for his sister more than anyone or anything in the world, never forcing her to do anything for his sake. Sometimes, Arashi wonders if he continues to act rebellious so that Kaguya would continue to receive their parents’ attention. Kaguya takes after her mother in terms of looks, inheriting her soft, brown hair and almond shaped eyes.
Overall History:
°°Arashi came from a very rich background. Both his parents were well known and feared in the business and political world. Ever since he was born into this world, people had high hopes from Arashi. At the tender age of four, his parents had already arranged for the best tutors to educate him. Arashi didn’t disappoint. He was a natural in politics. He was fast to develop. His amazing ability to pick up things helped him to advance faster than any normal child. His talent in music and composing was but a bonus. Before long, Arashi was hailed as the genius of the Shunsuke Empire. At the age of ten, he was advising and giving his point of views on the matter in real life situations in his father’s company problems. His family couldn’t be prouder. There wasn’t a single shred of doubt that Arashi would lead the Shunsuke name to heights the family had never even dreamed of. Arashi won’t lie. He liked the attention and praises he received from his relatives. In fact, they became his source of strength. It was because of all these sweet praises that he continued to excel. He became obsessed. That was, until one day, he opened his eyes.
The more he dealt with politics, the more he understood the world and human nature. The world wasn’t pretty. People would throw away their pasts with you if you didn’t benefit them anymore. Smiling faces were but things you saw when they wanted something from you. In times of troubles, none of them would bother helping you. They would backstab you the moment they didn’t need you anymore. They would nurture you for the reason of using you like a pawn before finally letting the enemy eat you. The world was a chessboard and both sides of the board were the same black color. You can never tell friend from foe. Loyalty was non-existing and promises were empty words that were used to climb the ladder of society. And he… he was one of those pieces that ate both allies and enemies alike. This was the ugly yet true reality. It was then when Arashi truly knew the meaning of the phrase: ‘Ignorance is a bliss’. Why was the world like this? Did the world like to suffer? It was wrong, all of it was wrong. Why couldn’t mankind get along and be happy together?
It was because of power, wasn’t it? Because everyone wanted to be on the top... Mankind’s greed would devour them. The man who desires the world will lose everything to his greed. And if that was what the world of politics was, he would have no part in it. If that was how the real world was, he wouldn’t play its game. It was pure foolishness. Life was already so short and one had to live it by constantly looking over his shoulder to see if his friends might backstab him when he wasn’t looking. It was just so stupid. Why couldn’t the world be more… innocent, more pure? Why did the world have to be so complex? Why did people spend so much time devising ways to trick their friends? He would live in his own small, little world. If you had to be wary of people around you everyday of your life, wouldn’t it be better to just live by yourself then? No, Arashi wasn’t afraid of loneliness, he was afraid of betrayals. And if there was no one around you, then there would be no one to trust and therefore, no one to betray you.
And then there was Kaguya, his sister. Ever since she was born, no one really paid any attention to her. It was always Arashi, Arashi, Arashi… Yet Kaguya never rebuked him for taking away so much from her. She was so gentle. After changing into his rebellious self, Kaguya was still affected. Whatever decision Arashi made would affect how Kaguya live, how she was treated by others and how she treated herself. Arashi was guilt torn. If he played the role of the ideal child in the family, he would take away the love that was rightfully Kaguya’s. If he was rebellious, he would seal Kaguya’s free will and destiny. What was he to do? Maybe this was what triggered Arashi’s desire to make all women happy. Arashi didn’t know. All he knew was that not everyone would or could think like him. Then was when he vowed to make as many people happy as possible.
Sometime after that Arashi made that decision, he ran into an A-Class Balloon fight. Now at this time in his life, Arashi didn’t find the world of Air Trekking that interesting. He had never understood why kids his age were addicted to such a rough, life-threatening and extreme… sport. Could one even call it a sport? Arashi didn’t know what made his stay to watch but he continues to thank his lucky stars till this very day that he did. In that fight, Arashi’s eyes were fully opened. He saw true friendship, true bonds, true loyalties. Through sweat and blood, the team strived on. They watched each others’ backs. No one had to look over their shoulders to make sure they’re own pieces didn’t eat them. With perfect formation and teamwork, the two teams would fight for something called victory. Arashi was thoroughly mesmerized by the scene in front of him. He wanted that. He wanted to be in that world where you could trust others with your life without any sort of hesitation. Was it the team? Was it the sport? What made those teenagers like this? Arashi wanted those questions answered. So began his journey into the world of Air Treks. Hehe… Although Air Trekking is the one thing in the world he’s not good at…

Roleplay Sample: ---
°°Arashi would have laughed out loud at that last comment Hadrian made had the pain in his ribs discouraged him to do so. Heck, it almost sounded like an order. Something someone would most likely hear in a movie where a comrade said something along the lines of 'You're not allowed to die'. Of course this situation was no way near that melodramatic but it did send a sparkle into Arashi's eyes. Lifting a hand, he shooed the younger rider off and with a grin, added, "Please, just who do you think you're referring to?" Really, he was a speed base rider of the Flame Road, supposedly the fastest riders around with the exception of maybe the Blink. "If I don't catch up to the you before you reach the '[I]Fleeting Memories', it'd be an insult to all those who swore allegience to the burning Flame Road."
Plainly, Arashi was amazed that he didn't have to deal with any argument with the youth. A mature mind was rare to see within youths that took up such a dangerous hobby. He could understand what Hadrian was feeling right about now since not too long ago, just after he broke his own arm, he had gotten himself into a sticky situation where a dozen skating gorillas were cornering him and one other rider. Well, you could say that Arashi was being foolhardy at the time to even consider leaving the hospital while he was in that state. Heck, he was even more of a fool for getting himself into trouble whilst knowing his body was only beginning to recover. Well, we all have our foolish and idiotic moments.
Anyways, in short: Arashi had managed to fall on his broken arm in attempt to hide from the gang. And the worst part would probably be the fact that they weren't your average muscles on Air Treks. They had the faintest amounts of logic and intellect within them. Had he and Vincent not decided to move, their petty hiding place would have been located in no time. Yes, yes, you could guess the rest of the story. Vincent, being the only rider that could possibly put up a good fight, told Arashi to leave while he created an opening. Let's just say that there were times when one had to be sure where the line between boldness and idiocy stood. That, and it was a good thing that Vincent was a very able rider and Arashi was fast enough to get away before the gang realized anything.
As a last note though, Arash did leave behind a small present that even the odds by just a little bit. You would wonder why people were so amazed at seeing a wall of fire. It wasn't like fire was a rare sight even in the twenty first century. Well, simple minds were easily amused? Though Arashi still had to be glad that mankind were so easily distracted seeing as Vincent put their momentary hesitation to good use. Now, now, this wasn't the time to be nostalgic, was it? He, after all, needed to plan a welcome party for the incoming riders, did he not? What should he do, he wondered.. Rather, the correct question would be: what could he do without further injuring himself.
Alas, Arashi didn't have anymore time to ponder that question when the rumbling got louder and about ten to fifteen riders skidded to a stop in the street. Hmm... that was going to be slightly problematic. There were more now than they were back then. He set to scouting their faces. Hmm? This was a different group. While he compared the last one to gorillas, he supposed this one would be labeled as jackals. They were faster, knew how to work as a group and they were definitely better on Air Treks. Well, wasn't this going to be fun. He could practically feel the cold shoulder that the fair Lady Luck was giving him at the moment. As if life wasn't ironic enough, the only female rider, wearing far too little clothing than the average women, rode up, being obviously the leader.
"Well, haven't we got a nice catch today," her silky voice slid off her tongue with dripping venom. Her movements seemed as graceful as that of a feline yet as dangerous as a viper. She seemed to glide over to where Arashi stood. Arashi supposed if there was a lively definition of the word 'seduction', this would be it. As if she could read everything in Arashi's mind, she traced her fingernails from his left shoulder down to his mid forearm. "Looks like you're a broken toy though," she purred. So... this rare situation... Just how was Arashi supposed to respond to it he wondered. "Although," the female continued. "You're looks are enough to make me forgot such little faults. Wanna come play?"
Arashi smiled and turned to caress her dainty chin. "Tempting," he grinned slyly as he took a single step closer to the woman. With each passing second, he moved closer to the feline. Before long, their faces were but centimeters away. For a moment, it would seem as if their lips would lock together but at the last moment, Arashi adverted his face so that he could whisper clearly into her ear, "But I'm afraid I have something to attend to at the moment." Arashi couldn't see as his head was beside hers but he could feel displeasure rising within the leopardess. Her eyes narrowed dangerously. She started to retort. Rather, she attempted to before realizing the truth of the situation. Her eyes widened mutely.
Sliding a single finger down the side of her face, he whispered a single word.
"Time."

"Time."
