well, if you havent heard of it yet, go get Armored Core 4 if you like mecha ^__^ its defo better then any of those crappy gundam games. Though, dont buy it if you dont like games that you get better in through trial and error XD

You get to make your own mech, and fight with it, be it against CPU opponents in simulator, the Missions (wich unlock all the weapons and parts etc. and give you money) and offcourse, online, up 8 player Battle royale, or 2v2/4v4 team battles :D the biggest thing that puts this game apart from other mecha games is one simple fact: The mech's are FAST, the slowest one i ever made, still flew at 300 km/h ^^ and ive got on that gets upto 1100 ^___^ learning to dodge in this game takes a lot of effort and time though, and for the missions, all you need is big fat weapons XD

if you want to see some gameplay video's here you go :)

Know anything if the battle system is different from AC3? I played 2 a lonnnggg time ago and barely 3... I could use a refresher course.

I played AC: Last Raven... yeah... I'm a total noob since it's kinda hard and the modifications are kinda cool though unfortunately, you can't buy all the good stuffs and put it into you sissy robot frame (sorry... I had so much money but it kept complaining over weight every time I put in some great parts). I hope to play AC 4. ^^

Hollow, they already said Xbox and another console I am too lazy to go back and look for. It looks really good, but controls for it must be a pain. Seems as though you'll overwork yourself trying to do all of that.

well, the controlls are completely configurable to your personal taste, and theres no manual aiming, you get lock ons on anything in your screen as long as theyre in range, and depending on your FRS part, it'll lock at certain distance with certain speed ;P oh and the gameplay is changed from the old AC games btw, with the addition of quick boost, and permaflight.

You can now easily make a lightweight AC that can be in the air 100% of the time if you dont use heavy drain equipment and energy weapons. Also, the games speed is a lot higher, and if your boosting on the ground, you energy doesnt even drain anymore, it go's up, though slower. Oh, and, the red bar is gone :D, no more running out of energy and being a slow moving perfect target, with beeping sounds ^^ heat systems out too, luckily, cuz that just sucked XD

as for on what system, yea, its Xbox 360 and PS3, but the 360 game has an edge, with about 50 more spendable tuning points (i dont know why they did this)

That sounds great... I always hated that red bar and my robot kept moving very slow when I add something cool on it. This can be irritating when you can't put all the best part in your personal robot. Plus the heavier you are the more the energy drain and you'll find that difficult when comes to flying to one place to another to move to the next stage. I hope this AC 4 could eliminate these troublesome stuff.
