What would you change in the Air Gear anime

Everyone thinks they can do it better "myself included" so tell us what you would have done differently if you could have made the anime!As for me I would have tried to make the artwork better and would have built the fights up more and the I wish he would fall in love with me crap would be less.those are kind general but if you would re-write a ep or just change a few things let me hear it!!

first of all, the overall graphics, the characters are horrid compared to the manga, and longer battles :P, like, 5+ chapter manga battle
and they do it in 1 or 2 episodes, and thats including half time lost to flashbacks, i hate flashbacks >_< we've all (or most anyway) seen Dragonball z, skip the flashbacks, we had enough!

Make the animation smoother and more active. The images in the manga are more active than the ones in the anime, which doesn't really make sense. Also, none of the skipping around like in the first couple episodes.

I guess it would have to be the battles, make it a little more interesting, the manga just seems to do a better job than the anime. Also the artwork could be better. Hmmmm it seems i just copying what everyone else said. The one thing that should be fixed in the anime is the ending, fix that for sure. Those anime only fans talk crap about air gear because of it's horrible ending. I'm just like *itch, go read the manga, it's way better than the anime. But when you think about it, what more could they have done for the ending.

I kind of like the ending though, although the first half of the last eps is totally boring...

anyway one thing that need to change is the ending song, I really don't like sky2high, they should just put another song and make the clip using animation not real life camera >.<

From my experience anime endings generally suck. There's the occasional series that breaks the curve, but those only come along once in a blue moon. Plus, it's not like they could really have had a good ending for Air Gear anyways since the anime ended at the worst possible place. I think that since they were going to end it so abruptly they should have taken more of a creative license and made it seem like an ending.

Honestly i got into the manga because of the anime...

Fully animate the fights. I was really looking forward to the Behemoth fight after reading it. They totatly copped out on it, not to mention cut out a whole lot of stuff.

True that. I think they just wanted to be lazy since they knew the manga's success would make tons of people watch the anime no matter how crappy it was.

More to the point they had to squeeze alot in to leave at a sensible point for 26 episodes.

I would've just probably just as easily fully animated the fights, but that's only if I could go over the one season limit, but then again, if I couldn't, I wouldn't mess with anything.

I didn't like Ringo's hair color that much in the anime. I imagined it more... Brownish red maybe? I dunno. But it grew on her after awhile.

It sucked how they changed really important details though. Like how Ikki learned about AT and whatnot.

I definitely agree. The length really killed it for me. I got started on that before moving (quickly) onto the manga just because the story was a little bit more involved in the manga. The anime really sets it up to go that same distance but really leaves everyone disappointed. Aside from that... a few things bugged me but I actually liked the intro to this anime compared to the manga.
I think it sets up Ikki's character differently... It really shows how impulsive and how he takes the initiative where as the manga he kinda mopes around after a few defeats here and there.

Definetly fix the animation, I mean compared to something like Bleach or Naruto, the animation is Horrid. They shouldn't of cut out some of the tings in the manga too.

Plus, How about them not actaully ending it? From reading the manga, the anime definetly would of been capable of being ongoing.

there was talk a while ago about an air gear movie. Those plans as far as probably wont happen so this really is the end of the anime.

i think if they had fixed some of the animation the movie could be a big succes.. there is only one sceen that i remember clearly of the way it was made is the sceen when ikki fights against the leader of Sabel Tigers.. when i first saw it i thould wow..

The animation looks like it came out in 2001 or something when the anime itself came out in 2006, that's what bothered me the most.. T-T But besides the animation I would just add even MORE HUMOR into the anime! And I totally agree, the hair color on the characters bother me examples:

Ikki: Black not Purple
Ringo: Brown not Pink/Purple
Akito/Agito: Dark blue not Navy

I would definatly change te fight scenes, made them much more detailed because when Ringo took the keys out of the car in ep 24, it wasn't as big a deal as it was in the manga, the whole move was supposed to be a first look into her real skill but it was really down played. I did like how we got to see Yoshitsune's jump in the anime, but I didn't like the crowd, in the manga there wasn't supposed to be one.

The animation really did not bother me that much. Maybe that is because of the fact I have not watched anime in general for awhile.

I did not like them changing the beginning. Also I hated the ending of each episode. Sky 2 High sucks and real footage sucks.

The ending did not bother me too much because since they had to end it somewhere I thought that would have been one of the few really good places.

The hair color was annoying. Onigiri's voice bugs me everytime I hear it. I always imagined it deeper.

I wanted to see the haunted toilet scene animated!!! Sob. I think that is all I can think of now.

the japanese episodes are pretty decent. I'm okay with some of the animations and stuff, and I wish they could extend it to include more stuff though. I have to say that I absolutely HATE the english dubs though. I mean, I know that most english dubs are bad (except maybe Fullmetal Alchemist or YuYuHakusho lol) but at least if I wanted to watch I can kinda sit through it...but Air Gear though, I can't even sit through one episode. I guess what really bothers me the most if Agito's voice. Why does he sound like a scratchy-voiced 60 year old man?!?! lol

Yeah well overall it's pretty okay. Just the action scenes and stuff could've used a little more work (so Agito when he's attacking dosen't look like a crazy flying octopus). The pictures in between scenes and stuff are a cute touch

lol for me i would make lots of action every episode i hate sometimes when there just talk talk and more talk and nothing exciting happening, makes us get bored and not interested. but i do love how they build the suspense. id also make ringo chase after ikki and have her and kururu fight for ikki lol. Also would love to make ikki do more unreal tricks and flips in the air. i didnt like the ending in episode 25 where he just does a regular jump to jump over the 30 people. in the manga they showed more detail of him doing it but i also want it to show in the videos. i wish a 2nd season of air gear would come out even though i know there a really good chance there wont be.

Well i loved Air Gear's English dub....the Japan>>>the world thing needs to stop...with that said

-Followed the manga closely
-Wouldn't have altered the first episodes
-got rid of that annoying sound it makes when people punch >_<
-Used good animation 100% of the time as opposed to ony in nudy scenes >_>
-Moved at a better pace (the behemoth arc went WAY too fast)
-Ended at a more logical place in the story
-Let the characters change clothes (god i hated Ikki's outfit)
