Overall looks: Tomo took after his mother's american family and grew very tall and lanky, at first he didn't like his height so he used to huch as a child, now that everyone appreciates his height he stands tall. Ever since he was a small child his father, a general in the American army, put him through a very harsh training regiment with his brother. Therefore he has always had an extremely good physique. However he is not very flexible which more often than not proves to be his downfall. He can often be seen wearing jeans and a white shirt with blue writing "FLY". When he rides AT he puts a red bandanna over his nose and mouth and wears a pair of sport goggles so that he can see when he runs.

Upon first impressions Tomo is a quiet individual, but once he opens up a bit more, you cannot get him to shut up. He always obeys the orders of authority figures that he respects, this may come from his upbringing in a military background. He is also extremely loyal to his friends, he always carries a picture in his pocket of his AT team in America TRUE WINGS on which they all signed wishing him good luck in Japan. Tomo also likes to try and help people even if they don't want him do, yet he does not often ask for help himself. He loves the feel of flight, you often won't be able to find him on the ground when he rides so if you're looking for him, look up.

Tomo's Father's grandparents were immigrants from Japan, so Tomo has lived in America his entire life. Shinkei quickly rose through the rankings of the army, and fell in love with and married the daughter of another general. Iris' family has a long military history, however, she had decided that she was going to be an artist, and spent her life in a studio. Jiyuu was born in 1987, and Tomo in 1991, due to Tomo being one half Japanese, he learned both Japanese and English and can speak them fluently. 1 year ago, his older brother Jiyuu enlisted in the army, and was shipped overseas, Tomo wanted to join his brother but was told that he was too young to enlist and was crushed. 6 months later, the Hashimoto family recieved a message that Jiyuu had saved an entire squadron by jumping on a live grenade, ending his life, so Jiyuu was given a posthumous medal of honor. Tomo became enfuriated, thinking that if he had been there, that his brother would not have died. Tomo then began to hate the Army, and everything that it stood for. 2 weeks ago, the family moved to Japan on military orders, so Tomo has not been able to enroll in school yet.

How he got into ATs: Since a young age, Tomo has been obsessed with the sky, he often told people that he wanted to be in the airborne brigade divison of the army, his father always drove an old army humvee. Tomo would often stand in the bed and be surrounded by wind. His dream is to be able to fly without the aid of aircraft, thats when he discovered ATs and realized their potential to make people truly fly. Part of the reason that he was so excited to come to Japan was because of the large amount of AT riders.
He is left handed.
Roleplay sample
The alarm rings, Tomo groans, hits it and slides out of bed, he immediatly turn on the TV to the weather channel. The weatherman says that there are going to be high winds in the Tokyo area today. Tomo opens his eyes wide and smiles "time to get to work" he thinks. He takes a quick shower, heats up some cup ramen, puts on his FLY shirt, some jeans, his goggles and red bandanna. As he exits his room he says outloud "time to fly" and jumps out into the morning sunlight.
