Now that there is a new road are there going to be new followers or is ikki going to be the only one following it cause i mean come on there have to be other people to contend for ur spot as king

^I don't really know about that... I mean there are some great abilities like the Apollon Road that does need regelia or the king as well. Ikki's case is rather special since he still have the wing road (which has been taken by Sora). The Hurricane road right?

Well basically Ikkis new road developed from the old one. The hurricane road is a more serious version of the wing road... since we saw that hour long boasting about the young birds wing and the mature wing etc etc... so u could consider it a variation of the original wing road which makes it almost the same too. So he doesnt need new followers cause he still manipluates the wind and thus follows the same road.

The Hurricane as Satralis said it's a variation of the Wing Road.
But I think it's more ample, if you think that a hurricane it's an extremely furious amount of wind spinning in a really fast speed. Destroys everything for where it passes. And a storm makes just wind by itself looks weak.
I think of the storm road not being just and variation of the wing road, but also and improvement.
For the literal meaning this road it's far stronger than the wind.

^I'm pretty interested at seeing the regelia for the Hurricane Road... though Ikki doesn't really want to have one. Probably due to the fact that the previous battle is due to the wind regelia which Kururu had made for Ikki.

I guess he's kinda mad with the things ppl can do to get the regalias...
He's even thinkin, maybe, that without a regalia he could not being seen as a king himself... All kings, with spitfire's exception, were just a bunch of a**holes.

Well probably thats the case imo too. Ikki simply doesnt want to follow the steps of those before him, neither wants to chase the same dreams as his betrayer (sora). The only way is to avoid using their means...the regalias. So he needed a road strong enough to counter the power of a regalia...i hope the hurricane road is something like that...

Yeah...
Cause otherwise it would lose the meaning of this theory.
But I remembered of something... In chapter 171 Ikki says he don't want a regalia. And after that Akito says: "That's impossible! Currently those AT's are still OK, but very soon they will not be able to keep up with Ikki-kun's pace..." "... I think you should look for it."

With this said looks like eventually Ikki will find a regalia that fits him. And in the end of this chapter he seems to know who will be the person that will help him find it.
It just seems like that.

Anyway, he needs a regelia that actually enables him to show his full potential without a limit (and without the regeial destroyed after the numerous amount of force applied to it.).
