ending?

So what do you guys think about the ending?
cause I was just thinking to myself one day
and personally I didn't really feel that the ending was really good
for the 1st season (if they are thinking of coming out with a 2nd)

I thought it was an ok "ending" but for some odd reason it just didn't satisfy me
cause it just felt like he anime just broke off there or just stopped.
I mean even if you wanted to do a 2nd season
there are ways to make it so it does feel like an ending but also a lead up to 2nd season

so what do you guys think?
and if you agree how would you ended it?

If you read ahead in the manga it was a logical place to stop.If anything they were testing the water to see if the anime would gain popularity.They left Ikki on top of the world but many questions were unanswered they left us wanting more. I do not understand why they did not go more in depth and follow the manga closer they burnt up over 100 manga in the first 25 eps but if they make a season 2 they have some great material to work with and I can only hope they use it wisely.Where in the manga do you think the anime should have stopped? And what would you have liked to see different in the ending?

I would have like them to inrtoduce Sora a little more, so we could
have seen his evil side on the anime. THe ending basicily made it seem like Ikki had already became one of the kings which wasn't true.
THe best place to stop at would had been when Ikki's started there training, or slightly after Kururu was introduced.

As an ending, I think it was left wide open for another season.

However, I have to say I like the anime's version of the jump better than the manga's. I just felt like more of an EVENT.

I agree. The manga was a bit choppy in parts, but smoother overall. The anime was like a similiar OVA that recapped the first (give or take) half of the mangas that just missed out on all the damn good parts. Still, for a 1 season shot... I think it was fairly decent. You can't expect so much from a failing flop.

yea i watched the anime before reading the manga. I wasnt satisfied either so i started reading the manga. Then i found sora scans!!~ whee so im thankful it had a bad ending ROFL!!

^ Lolz... exactly the same situation... I knew it was hanging... but didn't bother to look for the manga at first... When I was free one day, I checked onemanga and there I came upon sorascans. Yay ^^

I didn't even finished the series before I found the manga and MAN! was I happy when my roommate (a bigger manga fan than I am) showed me this place. I nearly did 3, count 'em THREE backflips.

Maybe they should make the ending with some clue that there might be a continuation or something like that. Just to tell us that it's not the end yet. After all, Ikki didn't get the Sky regelia at the end of the anime so hopefully they'll continue it (like Claymore) until to the end when Ikki reaches the Sky Regelia.

i personally think that the anime was only ended because of the fact that it wasn't as popular as the manga, for example take Claymore, the anime totally split in the end from the manga.

I just hope that the manga willc ontinue, it is too good to stop and well to be honest sora sans is doing an awesome job :)

Besides i dont think that they will end the manga, unless they have personally released a statement, cos of several reasons:

1) Its too good lol
2) They have lots of oppurtunities to carry it on such as Ikki loses his Storm King Regalia
3) Ikki and Kururu??? lol all left untold

to be honest, the manga of Air gear i think out does Bleach and Naruto, just because its modern and new =] =] =] =]

The Manga Won't End for a long while still but about the Anime well id love to see more if they get around to it.

After reading the manga so far, one would be naturally depressed by the ending, especially since I wanted to see Kururu animated(ignoring the fact that Air Gear the anime's animation wasn't that great).

I hope they do what Hellsing did, though it's doubtful. Hellsing is still being written, but they had an anime series with a bad ending as well, considering the fact that the manga was still going. However, they recently began releasing hour long OAV's that were much more faithful to the manga, in both plot and character design. I think that'd be sick if Air Gear did that.

I agree, hour long OVA's would be awesome, although I would love to see Nike and Sora in action, the battle on the helicopter pad was freaking awesome!

All i can say is that they need to continue it, the ending left so many un-answered questions that the manga has

havent seen the ending of AG yet -_- but if it was anything like the ending of tenjou tenge, they better make a second season and not just leave us to read the manga's even though the manga's are usually better

I watched the anime first, then the ending left me wanting to know if he made the jump or not, so I ended reading the manga which then lead me to Sorascans! Hooray!

in the start i also felt like it was a bad ending but when i realized it i was just nervous to see what would happend next, but i think the jump in both the manga and anime are nice because in the anime there is all the people watching on the sides but in the manga there are also many people watching just threw there computers..

I think the ending was a very good place to stop. I still can't decide whether I like the more dramatic manga jump or the more event/planned anime jump.

If they were going to do another season ending I bet it would be pretty good to end it after that meeting with Spitfire's Read talking to them. And after they do the whole "At the battlefield." thing.

That would be pretty decent to end it there. Well I mean considering that they also have a third season
