Here is what is happing with Sora Scans:
Because the school starts very soon for me (28th) and I'm getting another job very soon too, I will not have time to do the cleaning and typesetting.
I'm promoting Penguinism to the head of cleaning, and he will be in "charge" of the two new cleaners.
So, 173 is gonna be the last chapter I clean probably. So, from that point on, I'm just going to typeset.
We are expecting for the release quality and speed to be the same or even better!
Any concerns or suggestions, please post them here!

Please improve the quality of the translation. No offence to your translators, but in your scans much of the original meaning of the dialogue is often lost and sometimes it doesn't make any sense. For example, in chapter 165 the line where Sora tells Ikki that he'll finish him off when he finds him is missing. And in chapter 173 Ikki doesn't call Kururu 'Ringo' at all. Kuu scans is better in this regard(once again please don't take offence). I wouldn't mind waiting a little longer between new releases for better translations.

The phrase "no offense" to me is quite trivial since in the end the person will take offense. Hehe, but anyways.
I just want to re-state the things that I have restated a great amount of times and accentuated throughout the existence of Sora Scans:
1. We are a very new group. We do not have the experience that Kuu Scans had. If you look at our first release and our last, there was a huge (positive) difference in our releases.
2. We do not prioritize either quality or speed. We do not want to release a beyond-awesome release that takes us 2 weeks. Personally, I find all the small details useless and I, as a manga reader, want to get the big picture and look at pretty pictures. :D Many would agree. But for those who don't agree, like yourself, we try to improve work with each and every chapter. Slowly, but surely, since there isn't something that we don't do because we don't want to. This is currently the best work that we can produce (with which many of ours fans are content with), so we can't just magically "Please improve the quality of the translation" with our next chapter.
Translating is very hard and time-consuming. I will stand behind Thunderlord's work and I thank him for translating for us even though he isn't paid and some people, with that kind of work - do get paid. I find his translations to the general satisfaction of our fans and we will continue to use his translations until he doesn't want to anymore.
We are sorry that you find our release inferior to Kuu's. But it is your choice who's chapter you read. We are not perfect, we can not release perfectly type-setted, translated and cleaned chapter in 2-4 days, but we do try our best. We are just human.

We shall steal other cleaners from various groups with the promise of eye satisfaction.

I'll bring the potato sacks to help smuggle them in...and the hacksaw just incase they don't fit. :D
@zxcvbn, Don't hate, appreciate.

Would you like fries with that?

I don't hate Sorascans or anything. It's the opposite. I was just expressing my concern and making my suggestion as is the purpose of this thread.
And as for Kuu scans, they are only about equal to you guys in all aspects except for their more accurate translations. But on the flip side, they're too damned slow.
