Kogarasamaru have been training pretty hard for the Gram Scale Tournament, but they are training on the earth's surface at 1G(normal gravity). Since the finals of the Gram Scale Tournament will be held inside the Trophaeum's Zero G environment, how will they cope?
Their two main opponents, Genesis and SF, both have plenty of Gravity Children(whose bodies are attuned to Zero G). Even Ume, the weakest SF member, pwned Ikki in Zero G, saying that while she wouldn't be able to beat him at 1G, it's a different matter inside the Trophaeum.
Unless Ikki and Co find a way to train in Zero G they'll be at a severe disadvantage as none of them are GravKids.

The disadvantage is obvious...which would make one question the reason behind SF beating up the riders when they couldnt do anything in the tower anyways -__-...
Well u can say that when Ume was beating Ikki there 1:it was a joke, cause Ikki didnt use his ability to manipulate air at all 2: he wasnt the storm king than which shows some difference 3: only Ringo has no problem in there...and since it will be 1-on-1 matches that makes things a bit easier...if one rider cant go againts multiple opponents that is

well im sure spitfire knows of that disadvantage, the closest to zero-g without being actually in zero-g would be under water...but doubt at's work under water :P
lets not forget the largest thing satralis, ikki didnt even have his AT's on when ume was beating him up :p having at's on is a HUGE advantage

aye true xD it gives u some advantage if u have the AT in an AT battle ^^
well anyways, they dont have the possibility to train in 0 grav so they have to train their normal skills. Cause first u have to get into the forest, since not all the matches are played there...

Kilik didn't have ATs either and he also kicked the cr@p out of Ikki. Anyhow, Ikki really does need some special training before he can fight a Gravity Child on their own turf.

They are doing runs on the wall going against the gravity, so i think that might help

Thats like completely different. Going againts the gravity is something that is not necessary in gravity. Although the interesting part is not 0 grav at all! But the high pressure that makes u feel like drowning O.o. And that they cant train either lol.

ikki wasnt even fighting back though :p and the one move ikki really did make(throwing the shoe off his face and getting it to land right in kiliks face), was enough to put a shocking face on kiliks face :p

I gotta agree with that, that was such a kewl move. Though the team lacks experience , isn't it possible that by building up stamina u could actually withstand pressure for awhile! And within that time frame they'll just have to give whatever they have to survive.

^True, jumping up to the wall might help them in the Zero Gravity battle at that tower. Probably they might even jump and evade much better and faster at that Zero Gravity Battle. Heh... Spitfire did quite a nice choice of choosing their training spot. The reason is... well, you all knew that already.

Since Ine Makigami has been nice enough to delay the opening of the Trophaeum Tower, I wonder if at some point she'll let Kogarasamaru underground so that they can train in the Zero G areas.

That's a good question. I want to believe that Spitfire has forseen this. The idea of underwater seems good enough, but the friction might be a problem. :?

Not only the friction, but the weight od riders also will be lower...
Who knows maybe there's a AT space station where Koga will train in.
