Parents: Drake Simon, father, is an international businessman after his wife died he became too travel the world with his daughter. Currently he is living in Japan where he has re-married. Himori Simon is Ayako stepmother who is very kind-hearted and very open with her emotion which causes conflict with Ayako.
Siblings: Haru and Haku Simon are Ayako's identical twin half brother and half sister from her father's second marriage. Haru the sister was born 5 seconds earlier so she constantly holds that over Haku head. Haku the brother probably the only in the house who truly understands Ayako in though she just sees him and his sister as freeloaders.
Overall History:Born in Brooklyn, New York until she was 6 Ayako is a half Japanese Half African-American girl. When her mother die from cancer she was just 5 years old. A year her father still over come with grief took her all over the world. While on his travels he did a lot of body train which Ayako accompanied him on. That created a special bond between her and her father and help bring her back from his grief. When her came to Japan and found someone to re-marry this cause Ayako to get a felling of disconnect from her father. This has cause a constant tension in the house between Ayako and the rest of family. Ayako became to take martial arts seriously in order to recapture that bond with her father but stop showing interest in it. Still lonely Ayako turns to A-T's in order to fill the void in her life.

Ayako walks home after Aikido practice at the school. The sun is setting and the streetlights are turning on. Ayako decides to stop at the convenience stop after rumble from her stomach. Ayako picks up an container of her favorite sushi selections and proceeds to the counter. As she leaves the store and group of girls wearing matching black and pink AT's are outside of the store. Ayako ingores them and begins to walking home again. One the girls in the gang notices the A-T strings hanging out of Ayako's bag. "That girl in a A-T rider" she whispers to the others. The gangs makes a strike on Ayako. Ayako quickly sense the danger and is able to avoid the attempt on her A-T's.
One of the girls get behind her and grabs her shoulders using her Aikido Ayako flips into the other girls. Ayako than runs around the corner into an alley. Girls are able to regroup and chase after her but as soon as they turn the corner Ayako is standing waiting for them. Ayako now wear her sunburts A-T's and gloves "if you want my A-T, You gotta beat them off me" she yells. "Get her" the leader says, the gang is able to surround her. "Now we have have her" armed with pipes the girls swings at Ayako but just as the pipes is about to make contact with her, in a blink of an eye she grabs one them and slams to the ground. After seeing that the rest of the girls ran off. Ayako see the time and begins to panic to rush home.
