Okiedokey, because I promised Smooshy that I would, I'm creating a thread to put my finished artwork from college in.

Okay, so here goes nothing: Creative Studies 1, Major Assignment 1: Myself on Canvas.

If you look to the bottom left corner, you'll see the 'nice' celtic knot i was working on while chatting with you guys. Between the black lines is where I messed up in case you were wondering ^^

This is what my room looks like when a major assignment is in-prgress ^^

This one was done on an A1 canvas with mostly poster paint. The calla lilies and the celtic knot was draw on a drawing block then stuck down tough ^^. The colored streaks are done with color paper. The wings spell 'I will not be limited to reality, nor will I be to dreams.

Btw, before some of you guys ask, the presentation went great. I'm soooooo happy it's over.

Hehe lol, thanks for you guys' support but I'm really nothing compared to some of the other people here on SS with real talent *ahem*smooshy*ahem*.

Yea, when major projects are in progress, it's better to stay out of my room.

Funny thing is... I always know where everything is. (except that one time where my yellow color pencil ran away >.>)

Yay! I finally got the type to somewhat harmonize with the rest of the logo. First one was my PHAIL attempt that trying to use PS cs2 to do logo work. I like illustrator so much >.<

Took four hours to design and took another few hours to finish it in both PS and AI. I'm so slow >.<

Lol, thanks for the compliment Vic. I was thinking that I needed to change the type too. Looks a bit out of place now that I've changed the picture.

Design Studies 3 and Computer Graphics 1, Integrated Project 1: Creative Sign.

The marking isn't done yet but I took a sneak peak at the scoring sheet anyways ;) Methinks I scored a 9.5/10 for presentation.

This assignment was cake but honestly speaking, I'm not very satisfied with the final illustration. Looks so simple >.<

Nyways, long story, short. I needed to tell a story with just one picture. In other words, prove the saying 'a picture is worth a thousand words' true.

If you haven't figured it out, it's a picture of a man and a woman standing back to back. The story was plainly about a king who fell in love with this woman but because of her background, they weren't permitted to marry.

And well, typical story, you get the rest. At the end of the story, the woman turned into a flower (hence the stamen on her tiara) and the king turned into a ... DURIAN!?!?!? (hence the spiky green crown thing) so that they could be together forever. Laugh all you want lol, it was a Sarawakian folk story so yea... funny things happen.

For all those who dont know what a durian is... it's a spiky fruit thing that MOST (not every) Malaysian likes.
