Best Fight So Far

i was just wondering what every one thinks the best fight in Air Gear has been so far
i think it was when SpitFire and Aeon Clock fought the Takeuchi Brothers because it showed the skill of spitfire and also how strong Sora and Nike really are. it also showed what the Wind Regalia can do in the hands of a true master

But I might have to say my favorite was when AeonClock and Spitfire fight tag team versus Sora and Nike.

I have to say one of mine would be the fight between Animal house and Kogarasumaru
2nd time, manily cause toward the end when Kazu says something along the lines of forgetting to unlock the back wheels.

Ringo vs Ikki.It's my favorite so far.
I don't get why guys have the chance to participate in all the cool battles(or at least most of the times).Then why bother creating female characters.Only for fanservice?

I thought the Spit & Aeon vs. Sora bros was really intense. Really loved the way Sora was handled here. Really badass :great:

Another good one was Nue & Aeon vs Gabishi. It was a little short, but Gabishi's too kickass to be ignored. Besides, Nue's Infinity Atmosphere was shown again. That's extra bonus. :yipi:

While many battles in Air Gear are intense, hands down it has to be IKKI vs RINGO!!

Bottom line that battle had so many layers to it, so many meanings, so many sub stories all accumulating to that one point! It was pretty much the collision of Ikk's relatively care-free, delinquent high school life and this new, mysterious, challenging, underground world of Air Trecks.

The build up was priceless with the party at Noyamano's place and everyone enjoying themselves. To the stolen kiss by Kanon, to the pissed off Ikki walking away. The battle that was to follow would be first in many ways:


Childhood love vs Childhood friend
Sleeping Forest vs Kogarasumaru
Serious Thorn Queen vs Serious Wind King
Thorn Regalia vs Wind Regalia
Sonia Road vs Wing Road
Turquoise Sonia vs Numberless Grappler

Tis a shame. If the Ikki and Ringo scene was to be animated at high quality by say a studio like Kyoto Animation...I may actually shed a guy tear or two ;).

I have to agree with Waking Dreamer. Next for me would probably be Kogarasumaru Vs. Sabel Tigers. It was their first fight after all. Then the one with Om and then probably the one with Behemoth. XD

It actually shows a sign that the poster isnt lazy and went through the forum to see if there was already a topic they were interested about. Its better than the new guy just spamming new threads to gets stuff off their mind which not many will add to cause they already participated in such a thread how long ago...

This way whats already been discussed can be put into view for anyone else who may be interested in reading it.

Anyways...ive posted before, but i think ive changed my opinion. IkkixKazu, OSF, and behemoth are my favorite fights. IxK because im a big kazu fan, OSF because overall it had good team tactics and involved buccha and emily, and behemoth because of the kazuxaeon fight and the Agito Ikkix Bandou Akira fight.

No doubt. This is by far the most intense and the most emotional fight in the whole series so far. Unless you consider the fight with the Original Sleeping Forest members where the team splits in two and fights against each other and also Sora vs. Kilik.

The battle between Ringo and Ikki had more than just AT and their emblem on the line. It was a fight between ideologies, love, and choices. Although this battle made me dislike Ringo even more after how she acted towards Ikki when she kissed another guy and acted like a prick when she said she was going to go all out.

Two: Kanon was the thief of the kiss, not even hinted at by Ringo. She was not happy about the kiss, right?

These are put to you mostly because I think that you're being a bit too final about this. All fights, even Ikki's beating at the hands of the Skull Saders could be argued the best fight. The question is who can be more convincing with the argument. I, as a personal preference, love this fight above all though I'm arguing against it. Just don't be all dogmatic about it.

Well I made that post a while ago, but Im satisfied with the arguments I listed at the moment.

Theres actually a top 10 AG battles thread too with much more variance in opinion. And other reasons as to why some people prefer other battles such as tactics used etc.

Well sure, you can state that I'm being too final and dogmatic about it but as the Thread says "Best Fight So Far" and everyone has their own opinion about their personal best fight. I don't see this as an argument but an opinionated thread. I believe this thread is not so that people can contradict each other's personal best fight but to state what battle was their favorite or which fight they thought was the best. Even if we are on the same point of view on which fight is better, its safe to say that we have different opinions and reasons of why we think this is the best fight so far. That is your state of mind and this is mine.
