Yeah, i'll probably be aching all over for some weeks since the constant strain on my muscles will give in. But it seems all worth it in the end, i might try. :D

Well getting into shape is important to do before you start practicing parkour. Reaching a relatively high level of athleticism is what hurts the most. Especially if you're doing vertical leap or impact training like I am right now, uhh just don't plan on walking straight for a long while(if you're doing it right that is). Your upper body has to be in good shape too. Walking on your hands helps you stabilize yourself when you go inbetween rails, vault over obstacles, or climb over walls.

Really it's a constant stretch to get better and better. But I never get outlandishly sore after a day of free running. The only exception is when I'm fine tuning my techniques. Your back gets sore as hell when you land on it enough times.

The only thing I can do that is parkour related is a backflip. I'm a dancer so that's why parkour interests me, it's another way of keeping fit but it's sucha damn cool way of keeping fit.

Well I love PK and 3run because it's all the Art of Movement. People from so many different disciplines can bring a multitude of fresh ideas to the table. An infinite amount of ways to do a single run depending all on you. It's pure expression and freedom. And it's the only extreme activity I want to partake in until someone goes ahead and makes ATs. Seriously with a background in dancing you have a heads up in body kinesthetics. Knowing how you body moves to maximize the efficiency(and safety) of your run. I paid the price of many scars to learn that.

THe bakcflip was hte first thing I learned too :p. Now you have to practice wallflips like I was earlier.

Oh for my shoulder, I was up at the hospital near my house doing some PK because it has a lot of pretty nifty spots. I vaulted my way onto this I guess it's a generator house for the hospital. It's only like a 12' wall with a nice brick face and level grass on all sides. I did a gainer off the roof and going into my roll I shredded my shoulder on this stupid rock sittin in the grass. It's just a shallow gash with some good ole inflamation. I have got to practice on posting my arms correctly so my shoulder doesn't slide with my roll. If I had then it would have probably just been a bruise.
