well i didnt find a thread on that so well. i absolutely loooooovvvvvvvvvveeeeeeeee this manga!!! it rocks..i liked the fighting scenes really gd :D but it takes too long to release its next chapter..i've been waiting for 2 months now!! the anime is already catching up!!:eek:

To be quite honest, I didn't like it at first either. It really starts to shine when they go back to the time Teresa found Clare. Try to watch it up to that point, you might get addicted. :) (Is that around episode 10? Don't remember)

Teresa is super strong... it's a pity that her soft side became her weakness. As for Pricilla... she's cute...

I'm currently reading the Extra Chapters of Claymore that tells more to the story about Teresa before the time the little Claire was introduced to her.

well the current last episode of the anime already differs from the manga so i think it already went astray from the ending of the manga which means it will be a lot different in the end.

The animes that i watched was all with the same story as the manga this far O.o... maybe a few changes in the end to make it fit into 20+ eps... but basically anime are the manga in moving pics ^^

Yeah, don't like watching anime much anymore. But I still enjoy Naruto (good anime until after rescue Sasuke arc, goes downhill from there), Bleach, One Piece and a few others for some reason. Maybe i'm just not too crazy about Claymore like how those anime only people put it.

^Nah, it's not my style. ^^ Yeah, it's rather strange of me but it's kind of my habit to wait for that full set DVD of an anime (with all the episodes) to be released than to watch it one by one. It keeps the taste of surprise and the feeling of 'to want to watch this anime' a little more longer. It's better be slow at once and be occupied by one anime at a time for a long period before going to the next. That way, I won't get bored of anime that easily. ^^ Kinda complicated but it's simple when this is happening in your life.

Not really... after how many animes that I've waited and watched in that way... I'm pretty used to it. Besides, I'm often have my hands full with my education stuff. I still have a long time ahead of me to watch the anime. I'm not afraid of being outdated (in sense of watching that anime... not the info about it ^^) and in exchange, I get that long time interest feeling inside of me upon that anime. Right now, I watched Demonbane this year and the feeling of interest in that anime is still there.

Just taking my time watching every anime... no rush... and long time of surprise and suspense. Right now... I do have a lot of anime list to watch which I am looking forward to it's full release and at the same time... I'm feeling patient for it to be released in full for me.

Hmmm... where did it stop at the manga... hmmm... actually I wonder if Clare and Raki would ever see each other again safely and what will happen to the former ranked Claymores that survived the Northern War.

And why Pricilla isn't going to eat Raki when she has many chance to do it. Sorry, I'm a little far back in this anime compared the rest. ^^ Too many anime reading plus other reading resources that I had read are giving me a headache. A serious headache. lol

I do find it strange that she never did eat him and never said much about it other than to say that he smelt nice. Perhaps his scent reminds her unconciously of her home? After all, Pricilla had lost her memory after that onslaught. As for Isley... he doesn't seem to eat Raki at all when he got many chances to do so. In fact he was pretty fond of Raki as Raki remined him somehow of his younger years.

New warriors? You mean Black Claymores like Alicia and Beth? I don't understand by what you meant by they stopped? I thought that the survivors of the Northen War are trying to survive the hunt for their heads as they still fight Yoma and discover the truth about the organization. ^^

its a good series. Despite the anime going down hills towards the end I liked the storyline so far and I also liked the part where they havent made the main characters invincible. casualties does exist unlike many mangas where the good guys never die. As for my favorite out of the Claymores, it'd probably be Irene/Ilena her cool demeanor and icy gaze makes her look awesome. For comical relief Helen sure is funny and always lights up the heavy mood especially when paired up with her usual partner Deneve. The plot is also open for people to make good theories and estimation about things that hasn't been covered yet or has been left oblivious. Back on ST we made alot of discussions about elements we thought was interesting to unravel.

i want for claire to go south already and meet with raki, i wonder what he looks like now that 7 years passed. I wonder if it is possible for him to beat yoma although he is only human but he's been training with isely so i guess anything is possible

well u can really blame the organisation. they basically lost the most experienced fighters and nearly all of their singal digits. plus the fact that claire's group has been training without relying on yoma powers just makes them all the more stronger. i would really like them to fight the one of abyssal one's or an awakened being strong enough to make them release their powers jus to see how strong they are.

There was not such thing as a plan to jin forces with luciela.What riful said was that isley went to kill luciela so it would prevent riful + luciela to join forces agains priscilla when her real power would become known.It is impossible to state who is stronger the only thing we know is that priscilla is above anyone else.If im not mistaken isley has to be the first awakened abysmal since they started with males and riful was the first female number 1 claymore.

Why would they go to that continent? The reason she told the whole theory behind the organisation was to relieve them of the pressure that they will cause the suffering of many people after eliminating the org. But now if what she found out is true, than its no problem to drive them out (kill them oc) cause they will do double good with that. The problems after that prolly will be the main land sending further troops to secure the area which they lost control and to seize the "weapons" that went out of their control.

Yeah I agree with the above post. It expanded the plot beyond the simple revenge story between Clare and Priscilla. Now there is an even larger enemy than the awakened beings and it should make for more interesting reading. but I'm damn surprised the organization didn't directly target Miria.

I know what you mean, i can hardly wait till its about the end of the week to read the weekly manga.
I hate the fact that Claymore is a monthly one.
I mean, i like the series, and the drawings a good. But it progresses so slow, nothing nice for months, no good fights etc. I started reading the series as it was on chapter 65 or so, but damn, what a slow story. And the drawings aren't that good that it should take a month to draw it.
Does anyone know why its a monthly jump. Does the artists got more active series?

Yeah, Claymore is slow, but at least it is consistent, unlike Berserk. I am pissed off at the author, but I love the story too much to stop and the releases have been mostly inconsistent, so that annoys me.

But usually, I try to look for different stories so I don't get too anxious waiting for Claymore to come out. I'm also glad for the weekly mangas, it's like what people used to do when they go pick up weekley shounen jump, except free...

Claymore has a really good story line, but I can't remember that well. I was also wondering why there were so many woman in it, until later after they went north. I always like the heroes in a manga though, so I guess Claire is my fave character.. But I kind of liked Easely, so the recent chapter kind of put me in a downer.
