I usually hang out in irc channels a lot if im bored. It would be nice to have a vent server though :D
If you are going to make an irc channel, please post a tutorial on how to "connect" to the unenlightened irc virgins.

irc=internet relay chat...a program for chatting...its basicly like the shoutbox cept a lot more advanced :p

Yeah thunderlord, I heard about your previous experiences with your old mIRC and why it had to close down. There are certain days I can keep my pc on, but when I get to university, I should be able to keep 24/7 tabs in the IRC channel (since i'm not paying for their electricity :P). I'm definitely for it if we can get the people, I just don't want a repeat of what happened before.

1)download mIRC from.... http://mirc.com/get.html
2) install and open mIRC
3) an options window will appear
* click Connect category
-put any name for full name(i dont suggest ur real name as anyone will be able to see it)
-put ur email address(once again, i dont suggest a real email or one u care about :p)
-nickname(name u wish to be seen as when talking)
-alternative(name ull be shown as if u get dc and rejoin until ur original nickname is available again)
*Open dropdown for Connect category
*Click Servers subcategory
-choose IRCHighway for ur IRC Network
-choose IRCHighway: Random Server for ur IRC Server

after that press ok

then File>Connect

u should get a window named 'irchighway' when in that window type "/j #sora" and u will join the sora scans irc channel

i believe that covers everything :D

I type it in and I can't connect. I'm not using the "" btw
