Hello, I'm Katsuomori and it's my first time here plus I'm a huge fan of Air Gear. I'm planning to make my own AT and perhaps someday I'll get to build it. Anyway, nice to meet you all and sorry for my ignorance.

Welcome to your forums. I hope you are able to make an AT of your own. If you want you can buy one, but it's not how you would expect it...:

lol... I can see that. I'm planning to make the circuit and the pressure sensors of that AT... about the engine... it's seems way beyond our current limits in our knowlage in microtechnology. A small engine a size of a small remote car toy that can generate a speed of a 4 wheel drive (with the person's unknown weight on it)... sounds rather impossible right now... anyway, I've found some clues how I could make the driver of the AT instead.

@Aeonsky: I'll be... when come to Air Gear.

Thanks for the welcome. ^^

The problem is creating a sufficient and powerful power supply for the AT. Maybe nuclear o.O

Nuclear is bad... just knowing how to carefully extract and control the energy released needs a rather big and heavy mechanics (and must not be taken lightly or it'll be your last to ride on an AT).

just wait for cold fusion

LOL right. I wonder if it is actually possible?

Of course it's possible, haven't you seen the movies :D

Of course. There will be aliens invading and air gear will be finished by then. Global Warming will be at it's peak. The last barrel of oil will cause a nuclear war. And the ones who survives will be mutated or will die. The cockroaches will rule the earth and after another 2 thousand year of recovery... there will be cold fusion.
Not to mention, after all of this, we will be pretty old.

Well... unfortunately, Europeon Union will be using that technology of cold fusion to generate entire Europeon Union with Nuclear Power. I'll be at France. However the problem is that... it needs more maintainence, constant observations and it has to be very small and light to fit into an AT (ATs are supposingly to be light right?).

I know that cold fusion is possible and they are using it now at France but think about how scary it is to have a nuclear powered stuff attached to your legs. That scary stuff that can generate nuclear boms and severe damage due to heavy exposure to radiation emitted elements.

first of all, cold fusions hasnt been completed yet, so france doesnt have it, second, cold fusions poses no threat at all, theres no melt downs etc. if they achieve cold fusion, they will have a nearly infinite power source ^^

i have no idea how big a cold fusion reactor (or how small in this case) can be made offcourse, otherwise, i think it'll be some weird *** battery for AT's since they also have to power the memory stick for READ ~~

^ European Union has made one. It was out in an article and the project was proposed about 5 years ago. Maybe I'm wrong... so don't get offended okay? ^^'

Hmmm... maybe a capasitor or a mini transformer might do the trick to give that significant power to send info to the Read... just joking. Anyway... I'm not using a 'nuclear powered' skates and I'm sure... that not many people would want to use that either.

let's stick with the old technology. insert oil.

... or batteries... whatever it is... I'm sure an AT can be another form of polution free transportation... for the young. :D

whoa... so many technical jargons i am not familiar with o_0

*maybe it has something to do with my course?*
*gotta listen to my physics prof more*

well in any case, i really do hope someone can develop ATs ^^
that'll be a lot of fun ^^

^Yup, it sure is. After seeing the anime... I felt more determined to create one... well if I could make one with what I have.

Anyway, nice to meet you. :D
