Air gear game

who thinks they should make an air gear game? for console :)

i think itd be a lot more fun than any other game out there atm if it were made right :D

something between a mix of a fighting game and a sports game :p

have like the drag race feature in nfs for the speed battles

disk...kinda like a soccer game cept a lot more fast paced and with more fighting :p and throwing not kicking

balloon...kidna like a mix of everything above

then u could have like personal battles that dont count toward story mode just for fun and a build ur own AT feature(like u collect parts as u win and u can make ur at faster stronger etc), could have regalias where u cant upgrade the regalia its just like set at whatever u get it but it has special abilities...so potentially u can make an at thats faster, stronger, etc than a regalia but still lose to a regalia if the other person is good at using the specials

i think itd have a LOT of potential :o a lot more than any fighting game out there now

btw it should be quite hard since its kinda difficult to make it look like a real AT battle...i mean its a car race, a fighting game, and an adventure game in one or sg like that...

it would be a excellent game or a crapy game because the game has to many concepts and they all must work together if the work it would be an good game if not ... well it would be a trash game because this game is not only car racing it has jumps tricks it would be a mix of tony hawk with nfs with soccer games etc

i think it would be a tough game to make, condirding all the angles, the measure of control of the character and their perspective "roads," as well as regalia....

that being said, i would love to see an AG game, but im not sure if they could make it properly :P

I don't know... as I've recalled once... there was a game Air Gear that uses the Eye toy for the PS2 some while ago. Maybe I was wrong...

Basically, look out Jet Set Radio Future, because an Air Gear video game is highly unlikely xD

^I haven't played that game for quite a long time. Yeah... it does really have the same concept of using in line roller skates. Just looking at when Jet Set Radio Future was created... I think that Air Gear Game (if there's any) would have done even better.

Yeah, sorry im gonna have to say its a bad idea lol :o. dont get me wrong i like air gear its just as for gameplay, whereas there would be multiple characters you can play as, they would have to implement a battle system as well for the racing system since air gear is racing gangs of skaters lol. the characters abilities wouldnt be easily implemented without making the game extremely easy or on the boring side of a plain flat out uninteresting racing game. fighting on roller skates wouldnt be as interesting in the virtual world as it is on paper or in the anime lol. of course it would appeal to fans because of the characters, the gameplay im afraid would not be as interesting, unless they really go out of their way to make the game extremely unique. ;)

nah i agree with byakko, i think its near impossible, even with todays tech, the gameplay would probably horrible

^You'll never know... you'll never know. It's not about todays tech... technology always advances every time days passes us by... we less knew about it. I have confidence that Air Gear game will be a great game... if they are made by the Japanese themselves. They show wonders when comes to making games based on their francise.

actually. virtual reality is very simple... >< i just read an article. IT HAS ALREADY BEEN done. You have to wear virtual reality goggles. When your body moves, the "body" in your vision moves also making the brain think the animated body is yours. If that animated body gets hit, you will wince or cry out. It's a really cool article. ill give you a link.

so if we can implent this into the air gear game. That would be awesome.:) And the game should be by experience on the player, not by stats.(something like guitar hero where you have to practice)
only problem with the virtual reality is that there is no affordable tech to react to your body's movement and make the animation move the exact same way ><

as definatly cool as VR would be implimented into a AG game, and it would be SO COOL ^_^, i really don't think thats such a good idea. simply because not only would it be impossible to be affordable, but people wouild definatly hurt themselves on stuff like that :p.

in a couple years maybe we can have somthing like a zero-gravity chamber that'll allow u to experencie games with ur full body. but thats not gunna happen for while....but it'll definatly be awsome when it does. :D.

now if they do make a game, how would they set it up? would u play as a character from AG, or would u be able to make ur own stormrider and start your own team?

a good idea, and I'd rather that you make your own Storm rider, or some multi player mode that you make your own, and the story mode is with ikki and them.

well, about the idea and the game coming out, its a huge gap, they could, as many people have said before me, make it into a jet set radio type of game, since that game had a little fighting in it but never the less, was fun.

Well... with new technologies and consoles coming in... I think they can make a great Air Gear game. :D
