A-T Information: Old handy-me-downs, her air treks are mostly black with some purple design work. Made like low-top inline skates, the style is ancient. Silver crazy-eyed skulls take the place of buckles on the three straps, her sisters (see history) emblem and symbol from her storm riding days. Both of her lavender rear wheels are actually the Thorn Regalia, another heir loom from her deceased sister.

Overall Appearance:
Cho has a mop of messy brown hair sitting atop her head, the bangs falling down to her chin to frame her heart shaped face. Not an unusual style, except for the two long tendrils that fall down past her knees on either side. There's a few ornaments she wears here and there, but the only continuous thing is a tiny silver locket. It's the only relic that she held onto of the mother she doesn't remember. For the most part that's hidden beneath her shirt though. Tall and slender, Cho has a dancers build. Though she looks graceful and elegant, she's anything but. A bit more on the clumsy side perhaps. As far as clothing goes, it's generally pretty laid back. Mostly earthy tones now a days, from t-shirts to halter tops, ripped up jeans to skirts, it varies. There's always the typical Higashi High uniform too. Oh, and she has a funky sock fetish.

Overall Personality:
Cho's a cheerful bubbly individual with a carefree nature, a somewhat childlike demeanor. She likes to try to concentrate on the lighter side of life, just enjoying all the simple things. She tends to be a bit quirky and clumsy at times, and might even seem a bit spacey, but she's well aware of what goes on around her when she tries and when she brings her head out of the clouds she can be quite focussed and determined. For the most part, she's pretty naive when it comes to the opposite sex, but becomes overly flustered with them at times. She's never been one to have a lot of friends, too content in her own little world, but she's beginning to become close with some of her fellow storm riders, for better or worse. It seems that all of the events of her life at current are stirring up things within her that were long forgotten.

Overall History:

Cho's lived with her sister for the majority of her life, not really knowing her mother or father. When she was young she witnessed her father brutally murder her mother, he was going after Cho and her sister but the mother got in the way. It's a memory that's been long suppressed, one she's never been able to face. Everything from her life with him has long been blocked from her mind. Her older sister remembers, but won't talk about any of it. That's okay by Cho though, she'd rather not hear it. Apparently he'd been some kind of scientist at a secret research facility and his work had drove him over the edge. He's currently locked up in a Asylum outside of Tokyo.

They had lived with some family friends until Yukiko was able to work and support the two of them. Now both live in their tiny apartment, the eldest either always at work or school. Yukiko use to be a storm rider, and a pretty good one from what she's said. There was one time when Yukiko had gone to visit their father, and that day she'd given up Air Trek forever. It's another one of those things she'll never talk about.



EXTRA

Extra:
She's studied dance for the good part of her life, and you can see it when she rides. That's where a lot of her moves and tricks come from.
She also has a natural nack for Tuning, even though it's not the path she's chosen to follow. So she could be a possible tuner.

Yukiko, her sister, was the old Thorn Queen. She retired after learning the truth about their father, that he was one of the scientist who experimented with ATs and children. While she no longer rides, she does keep her eyes and ears out in the storm rider's world, and knows most of what's going on. The current Fang King is an old friend of hers, they rode together back in the day. While she's not particular fond of her baby sister riding, she's decided to pass the Thorn Regalia on to her, placing it in her care.

Right before her 17th birthday, her sister was slaughtered by Arashi, a true menace to the storm riding world. It wasn't a pretty sight at all, her sister ending up a bloody mess on the roof top. Even if Cho doesn't show it outwardly, things are boiling up inside of her, waiting to be released. A darker presence that's ready to fight, which will probably end up saving her eventually, seeing as the person she is now really isn't much of a fighter.

Roleplay Sample:

Small fingers reached down to pick up a frail object, an orange butterfly. It lay still, having already fluttered through the air for the last time. What a find, only a little tear on the right wing. Cho lifted it to her face, bringing it close.

"I think I can find a nice spot for you at home, you'll have plenty of friends there," she smile brightly at the dead creature. As she continued to talk to it a gust of wind brushed through her hair, causing her to look up.

Two figures flew from a nearby building top, their arms spread in ecstasy as they soared through air.

"Huh," her mouth fell open as she stared, then she turned to her find, "do you think I could fly like that? Hmm? Oh no, you can't go with me, you're kinda dead. No offense, but you are. I'll just drop you off at home."

Gently, she tucked away her treasure in the little bag she wore over her shoulder and hopped along. It wasn't long after that she found herself standing on the roof of her apartment, a pair of old A-T's strapped to her feet. An instruction manual was held loosely in one hand, it's pages flapping in the light breeze.

Cho took a deep breath and let the booklet fall to the ground, it was now or never. Gently at first, she put pressure on her heels and began to accelerate. The edge was drawing nearer and before she knew it she was sailing through the air for the first time.

It was unlike any thing, a total sense of weightless freedom. She marveled in the sensation of the wind on her face. As her eyes began to open she came to a sudden realization...

...the ground was really far down.

A good fifteen minutes later she came stumbling out of the alley, a banana peel sticking to the top of her head. If it hadn't of been for that dumpster, well, she didn't want to think about that. She stood there on her wobbly scratched up legs, thinking back to what it had been like before she'd fallen. Next time maybe she'd start off with something smaller.

Thorn Reaper Release
Regalia Charge: 0

Target: Self

In RP Description: The back wheel of the Regalia consists of two things, the Super Conductive Rod (S.C.R), an object resembling a whip; also following similar principles as a “whip”. The second is the Control Sphere. The Whip-like S.C.R, when dormant, is tightly coiled around the Control Sphere, making it look, appear and act no different from a normal back wheel. This ability is what unleashes the S.C.R. Allowing for it to be utilized. This ability can only be used at the start of the battle, or if Thorn Reaper Withdrawal was used anytime before. If it is not coiled, obviously, it is impossible to release, as it has done so already. No abilities can be used unless the S.C.R is released AKA. Thorn Reaper Release must be used.

Ruling: Increase the regalia charge by 1. During your next cycle any offensive attack will deal 10% more damage (damage = damage * 1.1). This ability cannot be used if thorn reaper release was used at some point in this battle. This ability can never be used more than once per round.



Type: Special [NONE]


Whirlwind Kick

Regalia Charge: 1

Target: Single

In RP Description: The utilisation of both upper and lower body strength is enacted through the process of ‘Twisting’ This, when combined with the movement and momentum of the hips in the correct direction, almost always a rotation, allows for the Thorn Regalia’s whip-like super conductive rod to be functional. This creates a close ranged set of miniature sonic booms, each one, a tiny shockwave that closely resembles what most believe to be ‘thorns’. In the twisting rotation of the hips in a 240 degree fashion at close range, spawns the ‘Whirlwind Kick’. These thorns are then fired at close range in a form of scatter shot. Due to very little strain; this ability has no drawbacks or recoil.

Ruling: The damage for whirlwind kick is calculated with the following formula: damage = normal damage * 1.2. Increase the Regalia Charge by 1. This move can only be used once every round. This ability can only be used if the thorn reaper release ability was used at some point this battle.

Type: Offensive [AIR]


Axel Twist

Regalia Cost: 3

Target: Single

In RP Description: A follow on, the second stage of “Whirlwind Kick”, the rotation is continued, without losing the building momentum. This stage is used in an almost identical fashion as “Whirlwind Kick”. The rotation, originating from the hips, is pursued, turning the attack into a large, 360 degree twist. This increases the amount of Thorns possible. Adding the increase in quantity of Thorns to the rapidly increasing velocity of rotation, and the damage is amplified further. However, this when the strain on the human body builds along with the acceleration, thus the Rider’s body is damaged as damage is dealt.

Ruling: The damage for the axel twist is calculated with the following formula: Damage = normal damage * 1.4. You are also dealt damage equal to damage dealt * 0.2. The Regalia Charge is increased by 2. This attack may only be used if “Whirlwind Kick” was used during your previous cycle.

Type: Offensive [AIR]


Revolution Express

Regalia Cost: 4

Target: Single

In RP Description: The final stage, the follow on from Axel Twist. Upon activation this ability, the momentum is reaching extremely rapid full, 360 rotations. The flow consistency allows for the Rider to unleash the Regalia’s basic use in one of its fullest and most dangerous forms. A continuous barrage of needle sized Thorns, the attack in return for dealing great damage, and desecrating WIND/AIR type Offensive attacks. The recoil and strain chew through the inner anatomy of the Rider using it.

Ruling: Damage = Normal Damage * 1.9. During your target’s next cycle all [AIR] and [WIND] based abilities will deal half their normal damage. If it is any other form of ability, then that damage is normal. This ability also damages yourself: Damage Received = Normal Damage *0.6. This attack may only be used if “Axel Twist” was used the previous cycle. The Regalia Charge is increased by 3.

“Infinite Warp” Rosaceous Blue


Regalia Charge: 6

Target: Single

In RP description: This follows Axel Twist, used in “Revolution Expresses” stead. Upon this stage, the burden to the Riders’ body is extraordinary. The rotation breaches safety, the momentum, the strain and sheer velocity is as deadly to the Rider as it is to the opponent. The consistent Sonic Booms, in so great a quantity, literally distort the surrounding air particles, making the air around the sonic booms to appear somewhat ‘warped’ in the opponents’ eyes. Initially, this attack is not as damaging as Turquoise Sonia, but is just as deadly due to the effects of following on from the previous abilities used. The already large amount of Thorn’s created by Axel Twist is tripled, if not quadrupled. It becomes a stormy spray of needles, which decimate the opponent. But, while in the process, also limits movement greatly; making this attack impossible to dodge.

Ruling: The target’s speed is cut by 30% (speed = speed * 0.7) for his three next cycles. Damage = normal damage * 2.1. The Rider using this ability is dealt damage = damage * 0.6. This attack may only be partially blocked. You cannot dodge this ability.

Jungle of Thorns


Regalia Charge: 2

Target: Self

In RP description: This ability focuses on two very central aspect of the thorn queen. First of all it abuses very effectively the additional flexibility obtained from cushioning ones joints with nitrogen bubbles. Secondly, it abuses the thorn regalia’s ability to produce rapid and compact sonic booms. The move is really a very effective but complex dodge. By shooting a few air thorns as deterrent and also to weaken or slow down the opponent’s attack you can focus on a very acrobatic dodge which will usually pass under, beside or even over the intended attack. The advantage is that you will usually end up behind your opponent ready for an attack however; the strain needed to perform this ability doesn’t leave your body completely intact. Then again what does in the thorn’s armada?

Ruling: Cancel any offensive which targets you (does nothing against ranged offensives). Decrease your stamina by 15. During your next cycle your damage will be increased by 10% (damage = normal damage * 1.1).
