seven days of acting
and another seven days to add the effects and stuff

Heroes aired on NBC (in the United States) from 9-10 PM... (21:00-22:00) - For me, it was Pacific Standard Time (West Coast)

Season 1 was WAAAY Better... although I saw a bit of the 2nd season

yeh cuz they wanted more money, though they were getting paid like a hundred thousand an episode already. They had to jam everything from season two into a short 11 eps. -_-'
but the stike is gonna end soon and my beloved tv shows will come back to me...CHUCK & HEROES FTW

Also they're gonna use some of the shots they already took from season 2 into three since they didnt get to use them.
Season 3 Villians by the way is set to air a twenty-four eps (original plan) sometime in September 2008. The date is set but I dunno if they decided to change the number of eps.

I think i preferred the first season, when most of them were "discovering" their powers. In the second season, it was more like their powers were just uber-fying, which i wasn't really that impressed with.

I just don't want Heroes to fall into the "Spiderman" trap. The first film worked partly because of his journey from zero to hero, but the others faltered with the "new" hurdles Peter had to overcome (I won't get started on the emo mode suit xD)

Quick question. Adam had the same power of regeneration as Claire. When this power evolved he was allowed prolonged life at the same age. Is Claire therefore destined to stay at 18 if she keeps using her power?

Intriquing question, I ponder this frequently. But I'm unsure, because even similar powers are going to differ. Powers differ based on the person, thus bits will be unique to each of them. She probably has some other quirk, but I wouldn't mind staying like 21 forever. Though, I think I'd get sick of it after living longer than my daughter. I'd probably off myself.... or wait for judgement day. Whichever. lol That went way to long for a simple post. LOL

Here's a question for you then. If Adam has the power to heal others by giving them his blood, could he prevent other people from aging by giving them his blood? If not aging (since that might not be considered something that needs 'healing'), than atleast from dying?

^ i guess you would need to take a dose of blood every once in a while to prevent aging since your body doesn't naturally make the same kind of blood that Adam does and the blood cells don't just keep on living and circulating forever in a regular persons body. Sorry if i'm wrong, not too knowledgable about this kind of stuff. (|| )

Did anyone else find that in the end Maya and Alexandro's back stories were quite shallow/pointless? The only real purpose to the overall plot was to draw Sylar back to Manhattan xD

I love the fact that Noah didn't die though. He's one of my favourite characters from the series; the decisions he makes are just so unpredictable.

The producer thought that season one was too long and left too many questions...intern losing alot of the more mainstream part-time fans, and so they opted for shorter seasons and less complicated plots to get more "diverce" viewers. (sorced: AOTS producer interview on G4)

Nuff said. With all things considered, they were probably taken off guard with their own success. Trying to write the next season's script, as well as adapting it to the writers strike must have been difficult. For this season though, they have had plenty of preparation time and from the looks of it.. a really decent concept too.

My question for discussion. To me one of the most interesting comments in the second season was the idea of the main character's powers 'evolving'. What are your ideas on how these will change?

I hope she was lieing when she said that, just to win his trust in Level 5. A trio would be... weird.

I was really impressed by the opening two episodes, a lot of potential villains and Peter suddenly has even more newfound depth.

Mohinder and Maya.... hmm. I'm not sure if i'm too keen on Mohinder's direction, because to me... what made him unique was how he participated without abilities.

I also don't like the way the Mohinder story is going. It was a bit of a let down the way he was studying genetics for ages looking for the source of the powers and then he figures it out in a few seconds. The first 2 episodes were quite impressive apart from that and the way Ando's future powers looked, I thought it looked so amaturish compared to Elle's electricity.

I mean, I LOVE Hero and Peter and the other guys but I can't help but kind of the baddie-brain-probing guy grow on me. xD We all have to admit, that comment he said to Claire... hilarious! Mohinder... er, yeah, his character is starting to annoy me as well. I don't know, he just seems to anxious and obnoxious to me, and that one bleedy-eye chick (can't seem to place her name...) just bugs me too. She's too... eck.

Season 3 has not impressed me so far. Too many twists too often means that i simply don't care about the characters. They're constantly switching sides and i end up unsure if they still have my favourite personalities and traits.

Lets take Nathan's progression for example.

1) He was going to tell the world about everyone with abilities at the start.
2) After being shot by Peter, he believes himself to be some messenger from God and does some soul searching.
3) He rejoins the Hero side, refusing to give Arthur help.
4) Suddenly after meeting the haitan he believes everything Arthur is doing is correct and wants to give everyone abilities.
5) He now wants to lock up everyone with abilities with the help of the president.

I was thinking he can't heal with the thing in his head and he was left in a burning building so he'd die. But then again it would fall out if that part of him burned off and then maybe he could heal again.

I thought Ando's power was so latched on. When Hiro went into the future and saw them facing off, I thought there would be a point where they would genuinely be in a dilemna against each other. Instead, he used an illogical time travel theory to boost Daphne back in time once ¬_¬.

Why does EVERYONE who appears in this show need a power? I used to like Mohinder and Ando because they were influential without powers. Next we'll discover Noel has something, which would be even more terrible.

I actually really liked the fear guy too. Apart from Daphne, i worked out on my own mid way through the series that all of the 'new' characters were going to die. Which in turn, made their deaths expected =[.

Anyone else think Matt is a pimp? He's had his ex-wife, he blatently made his female police partner have something for him and this season seduced Daphnee in barely no time at all. Damnnn!

Ando wasn't influencial. =P I do like the power he has, but I would really have liked that he become useful without powers. I do like that Hiro and Ando's roles seem to have been switched.

lol Matt is def a pimp. I'd like to see he's powers develop further. They're good, but I want him to keep up with some of the more ridiculous characters. Speaking of the ridiculous characters, most of them are gone. Its kinda refreshing even if the new plot looks retarded..... I bet it'll degrade into yet another ark focused around time travel and its consequences. >.>

Series 3 is appalling. Even with the original writers back, they can't seem to decide on one plotline. Also, every character no longer has any continuity, making them emotionless and completely unpredicatble.

Within the next five or so episodes, i'll decide whether I wan't to completely give up on this or not.

I thought it was okay. Just my opinion, but isn't it a good thing that it's unpredictable? That's how humans are to begin with. Although, I really like guessing, "YES. I'M RIGHT!!!" D: It's also a good thing to see how the chess pieces are gonna play out, so I don't mind that bit.

I'm just royally pissed now. The future is changed, and everything is changed. But the recent episode that shows how broken the Petrelli's family is starting to reconnect thanks to disaster is good thing, gives you a nice warm fuzzy feeling inside. haha... But I want to see more of Hiro.

The number of times Sylar has gone from Villain to anti-hero is ridiculous, and as soon as he took on that teenager as a sidekick I turned it off. Heroes has lost me.
