I've been following the dub, so I don't know where to start. The dub is at the part where Straw-Hat crew leave allabasta. Soooo, what chapter is that?

Start from the beginning. The english dubbed versions are absolutely horrible. Try to find all the episodes in english subs, it's SO MUCH BETTER. Then american version left out so much stuff. I've probably gone through the whole series a few times already, it's truly a masterpiece.

I watched every episode english subbed of one piece till 320 and read all manga english translated released till 468.

AG is better though...

Yeah I was about to tell you to start at the 1st chapter too. And please don't bring up watching the lame Dub. It's just pisses me off whenever I think about it and how it ruined one of my favorite mangas.

what? there's an english dub of this show.. no wai! generally when i start an anime late, i just start from the beginning with the manga then catch up to the anime. but yeah one piece is good but i dont think its good enough for me to watch the anime from the beginning.

Have you read the last chapter yet? I think the next arc will be EPIC. Luffy will most likely go to Impel Down to save Ace, and might meet up with whitebeard and who knows who else. If you go back to the chapter where Ace and Blackbeard fight, you'll remember that at the end it said that "this event was the trigger to the great incident yet to come". The anticipations is killing me. You gotta love Oda and One Piece.

yeah i remember how it was foreshadowed that its gonna be a trigger for a much larger event but i dont think its gonna go down like that soon. plus, why does everyone think luffy is gonna be the one to rescue him? remember his captain, whitebeard, yonkou, ringing any bells? strongest pirate in all of one piece? im pretty sure that if anyone is gonna bust him out, itll be him.

I honestly don't think you can say that, i love both these mangas, but one piece had staying power. its like 500 chapters and air gear is a fairly new manga with 200 chapters. both great though. and you don't know if it is going to keep this awesomeness up.
