Hi!!

I wanted to practice myself with some creation for the Air Gear RPG... At first, I wanted to remix some created characters on the official topic but I didn't see many pictures thus... I decided to draw a character for the fun and as a test.
Here it is the first one, yay she is a rider but I haven't found a name for her yet but I plan to clear the rough and maybe color it (only if I have the time obviously)... But with the inking result, you may have a taste of how it would look like if I do a mini comics about this RPG ^_^ .

A sheriff badge? Is she with the police? But aside from that its well drawn. I'd be delighted to see the end result once it's colored. The feel of it makes me think of Magna Carta and a mix of AirGear. If you have a blog with more of your artwork I'd be happy to see more works.

Hi!! Here it is the inked version, with traditional tools that is !! Maybe a color version in the process if I have the time... ^_^
About the painted effect in photoshop, this is the trick I always wanted to produce. It is a digital drawing but merely done like a painting method.
But I don't think having me in the forum would allow more people to come here though it would be a great thing. Anyway, I just do it for the fun !! ^_^

Thanks Leave for the meaning of the art education thing ^_^ ... Well, to tell the truth I never took such a thing as art class or something like that to improve. I simply worked on my own with efforts and patience... Now I'm a drawer as a job ^_^ so I guess we can say my dream has come true but there are other things I would like to be able to realize later...
Otherwise, I guess I'll take a look to your character after I'm done with Smoosh's one ^_^ .
Smoosh : by the way, I didn't see the second picture you post until now and that's way better !! I guess I'll inspire myself from this one to do the design.
Another news, I have the raw of the Air Gear 184 and if you're kind enough, you'll be able to look at it very soon (today in fact)... Just kidding !! ^_-

Smoosh : oups, I acutally did a sketch with Chika having more spikier hair than in your model because I got inspired by the first drawing which were... Her little brother, LOL °_° !!
Well, I thought she was cool with spiky hair but I guess I'll change... What about the skirt ? Do you want it really ?!
Well, I'll show the wrong version because I liked it... Plus, it would be a waste to throw this over... =_=

Well, here it is the rough of the wrong version I did for Chika since I confused myself with her little brother Yui =_= ... That's how it turned as a result...
Since this is a mistake, I just let it in sketch but you can notice she has spiky hair and I think it reminds me of Ikki's, lol...
Otherwise, from this drawing I would say she would be of a the power type (strength road ?! ^_^ ). I may find a use of her later... I especially wanted to focus on her AT for the overall view...

Finally the real version of Chika... I tried to get close as possible to her descriptions thus I hope it wasn't a waste this time... =_=
Contrary to the first model, this sketch shows a more cheerful and lively girl ^_^ .
It's now up to Smoosh to tell me what she thinks of this model and then I'll ink it and add many little details on it, lol.
After this, next is Leave , gwehehehe...

Hi!!

Sorry for the waiting but during the week, I'm kinda busy since I got a lot of works =_= ... But here it is the final result for Chika ink version !!
Yay, you can see she has spiky hair compared to Smoosh's original description but she liked her this way then... The kanji you can see is "kaminari" and means thunder since she follows the thunder road ^_^ ...
Though not having a metal armor like Nue, Chika has metal on her AT instead. On the overall look, she seems to emit a powerful aura, don't forget she's an athletic so she has physical strength and endurance. I tried to give her cool look with her clothes and all...
Well, I have to look for the next character, I mean Leave's ^_- .

I also tried to get as close as possible to the original model... Otherwise, to answer to some of your questions, I work in the drawing thing but more as a conceptual artist and in manga too... That's right I love my work but don't think this is easy, far from it but I guess passion prevails upon difficulty ^_^ .

One thing I would like you to add, and it's probably my fault for not adding it to my profile, but in his left ear, he has three earrings: a black hoop in the normal area, a black stud slightly above that, and another black hoop up in the cartilage area.

Oh, and could you add a little bit of chin scruff? Kinda like he hasn't shaved in a day or so.

Heh, it's been a while but I've been busy lately... As Meanlilkitty asked to me, I may draw something for the Air Gear RP in the form of a little manga comics ^_^ ...
But since I'm going home for a week, I won't have the internet and you'll have to wait for the next raw of Air Gear... For two weeks ? =_= But don't worry, as soon as I'm back I'll give you the scans for the raw !! ^_^
But for now, I just wanted to show a WIP of the first page I'm doing which will show some characters and right now this is Kin (thanks to Meanlilkitty for the reference model)... I don't know if Meanlilkitty has thought about some captions for texts but it could be fun to introdue a little story ^_^ ... I can add tones later after finishing the inked lines but I wonder if someone could do it instead (less work for me then ^_^ ).
Anyway, here it is my little gift until I come back...
