Spoiler Alert! This topic is meant for those who have read up to translated chapter 159.

the one thing concerns me is that we havent seen the nike's ability yet...all hes done so far is do some kicks, it was sora who tore down the helicopter

on top of that for sora to be using the power of the air gear, that was tuned exclusively for ikki, it has to be putting a HUGE burden on his body...using regalia normally puts a huge burden on the body but to use one thats not tuned for u puts even worse burden on u even if sora wins this fight i think hell be injured just from using the regalia thats not tuned for him

i also believe that kilik is goin to give sora the real original air gear, and tell him that if he truely wants the sky regalia he has to return and prove he has power...he kinda hinted that ikki is the one who can bear the burden and fly with his own wings, which makes me believe hes goin to give the air gear to ikki as a test...i mean he really has nothing to lose, if he gives ikki the air gear and ikki uses it but he isnt the one, then ikki will lose his wings and keep his life as he said

as for ikki's decision, i believe hes goin to say no to genesis, and no to sf...he has a team and he has no intention of joining others...everyone in sf already knows his answer, probably even kilik, theyre all just waiting for him to say it

I know too much to really discuss what's happening currently...:(. Does anyone think that Kazu will be a good flame king? I don't think he'll be as good as Spitfire(not as smexy either) but good nonetheless. He's gonna need a part-time job to buy some fire-proof pants.

Kazu has just begun, he's still got a long way ahead of him and a lot more time to improve. I wouldn't be surprised if he surpasses Spitfire, that's how it'd usually go in the story of good and evil anyway. lol. And when he does become the flame king, what will that make him, an engulfed jet fighter? :p

Well Spitfire did say that he was just a flame seedling to ignite someone elses(Kazu's) flame. I also am wondering who Kazu's tuner will be. I think it may be Haku(Is that her name), because Ikki is too stingy to pass Kururu around.

The other girl is more of a tuner. She told Agito the exact time without looking at a clock. I think you have to be naturally gifted to be a tuner, but I'm not sure exactly.

I was thinking that it'd be really funny if someone B-smacked Kazu and took his regalias. I'd be ROFLMAO'ing all day.

ya but its not just about finding someone good who can tune, also wasnt it said kururu was special cuz she could keep time like that? and she can only keep it like that for 3 hours

but the most important thing to a tuner is that u need to understand ur rider, and tune it appropriately to fit their riding style...no one would know how to tune it better than the girl that has a crush on kazu...granted she may not be the best tuner but she hasnt tried tuning...kazu was gifted at running fast, ikki at being all around talent, etc maybe shes just naturally gifted at tuning, wont know til shes tried

and ya thatd be funny :P

I always thought Tool Toul To provided kings with their tuners. I mean, can't exactly say Ringo's tuner is her type. And the lightning guy too (forgot his name) wasn't exactly excited when he was butt-naked with his tuner getting tuned, he just told her to hurry up, lol.

I'm mixed at the moment, but I sway towards the option of it being someone from Tool Toul To (if not, several) trying out until a good match is found for the person being tuned.

This girl is Nakayama (Emily's friend). She demonstrated this ability in Ch.117. So she is a tuner as she was able to tell the time to the second without looking at her watch. It has not been stated which king she would belong too. If she is the Tuner for the Flame King, then that would create a situation between her and Emily.

psst, Nike is the Gem King, and uses the Jade Road, which is a combination of Kiliks Gaia Road and his own ability to use the wind, making his own road

The Gaia road basically just shakes the ground up (like an earthquake) by sending vibrations through the ground with his at's, which can launch rocks up into the air and paralyze people close enough to him :)

Kazu as Flame king would work, when he gets rid of his little problem of doubting himself, once he gets rid of that, I think he would be most of the way to king.
It realy is a tossup between thoes two for Kazu's tuner, I mean, it's just a matter of finding out if Emily is good at tuning or not, in my mind at least...

So far I'm likin Gem road, it's a combo and joining of earth and sky forces, basically, a fast, powerful, ZOMG-slap across ur face.

He is one of the first generations. In Chapter 156 it's said by Ine the shoes were specifically made for them and did not really require tuning. She loved him and was only concerned.
Tuning is required if regalias are past over to other riders.

I can see Buccha becoming a King, If Onigiri does become a king (that's a big IF), then it will have to be something for our amusement i.e. Woman King or Smell King, etc. I can't really take Onigiri seriously, lol.

Lol, there was a road that Buccha suited to that already existed, blah, I just can't remember it. I read it somewhere (maybe the old forums?). I doubt there will be a tank road, although nice idea lol. Because then, Kazu would be on jetfighter road and Ikki would be on crow road lol.

And Onigiri, in my eyes, can never be a king, just for the fact that he wouldn't want to take time away from skirt chasin to defend his title.

ya agreed itd be hard for him to get the regalia, but to keep the title would be a lot easier considering how powerful the gaia road is

he would also need some huge tuning done on his so that it could support his weight :P

to me i think they are almost the same, they are still wind and its just for the nesseary of the story line... if ikki still is the wind king then Sora will be?
however i think storm sounds more destructive than wind....:(:confused:

I think it was said in one of the earlier chapters that usage of the Wind Road is commonly considered to be the prerequisite for the Sky King. So it might be that this new Storm Road is the real road of the Sky King or that the Wind King must achieve the Storm Road to become the Sky King.

Interesting points were brought up and here's what I came to when thinking about it...

Wind road=air pressure, Ikki did have the ability to do it, as proof of the air wall riding, he road on air pressure. Now, Sora used this air pressure that he road on to also destroy everything in his path in order to gain speed and attack at the same time. Ikki's style, in my look at it, is about manuvering, not attacking with the airpressure. The problem I'm seeing, how to move faster, and not cause a wake of distruction in your path? I think that might be the Storm road and the Hurricane King title. It could prove to be fast, and passively distructive. (as in it dosn't use wind to cut, but only push)

eh..i wish the wind road wasn;t so strong..myself being more of a 'fire' guy it kinda disappoints me how a flame king can be defeated by a wind king. but killik did beat sora even though he was the gem king, so i guess it matters on the rider not the regalia...-.- still..the fact that 'all the other regalias depend on the wind regalia' kinda makes the wind road seem invincible..

Yeah, but you must remember, Sora wasn't the Wind King at the time, he just an AT rider who had capabilities of becoming the Wind King. We don't actually know what someone who is the Wind King is capable of. And I agree with the whole it makes it like the Wind Road is invincible, but that's the whole point of the story in the long run, the main character becoming somewhat invincible and all.

But if Air Gear were to continue after this whole arc about Ikki becoming a King (Which I hope it will). An enemy will have to appear, somewhat more powerful, for example:

Bleach Spoiler; Only for people who are on the latest episode of the anime.
Ichigo & Co coming across the Espada. And back in the Soul Society, I thought captains were just invincible. Byakuya, wooo, he's awesome.

the stories already been set up for that :P nike, supposedly the strongest rider according to every1 in the manga so far, spent all his time in america...now why the hell would he do that unless he got a challenge from american riders...so its possible the riders in america are on the same caliber as nike maybe even stronger

Sora was the wind king when he was defeated. He just couldn't attain Sky king because of Kilik's betrayal. That's when his core regalias were taken from him

lol. thats what i used to think too. "people killing over roller skate parts?" and thought it was kind of stupid. but thinking about it, these 'roller skate parts' or regalias are pretty destructive and can be decent weapons if they want to be used in that way. it was also mentioned that a lot of mafia groups and military are interested in the sky regalia because of its potential of new weapon technology. considering this its kind of understandable why these guys are killing each other. their ages are also in the twenties except for Ikki and co. who are still in high school, but its not so unrealistic when you think about it.

nah..its mentioned in on of the 150+ chapters that the sisters were infant GC's and rika just took care of them. it doesnt mention where ikki came from though.

we know that the 3 sisters came from another place, similar to the place where sora and crew came from...now theres usually a researcher in charge of those places, for sora's place(tropheum) there was the researcher(researcher1) whos now dead that holds the sky regalia...now what about the researcher(researcher2) for the place that produced the 3 sisters? i think his son is ikki, and that researcher2 wasnt able to make regalia, but researcher1 could, so he probably asked for a regalia to be made for his son(ikki)

That's a very interesting theory that could plauseably happen. Problem is, we won't know for like at least a few months worth of chapters X_x
