LOOKS
Eye Colour: Light Brown
Hair Colour: Reddish Pink
Skin Tone: Pale
Height/Weight: 50 Kilograms; 5”6
Blood-type: AB -
Overall Appearance:
Physically, Katsumi is not the most aggressive looking of girls. Built at just under 5”6, and having most of her weight being due to the thin sinewy muscles that stretch across her body due to years of swimming and Kenjutsu, she doesn’t look like she could harm a fly. However, when it comes to her face, she definitely gives off a somewhat menacing feel. Her eyebrows arch, making her look as though she’s constantly mocking you, the corners of mouth rise slightly in a snicker.
Her eyes, naturally an extremely light brown, seem to flicker between a light orange and even a dark pink depending on the light. Her cheeks, always flushed slightly pink would make you think she was constantly embarrassed.
Clean and proper, that’s the way Katsumi does everything. This is reflected greatly in her choice of clothing. Katsumi is often seen wearing a tight leather cropped jacket, never dishevelled, either in the colour white or black, depending on her mood. Underneath this, she wears a plain pressed white shirt, which sticks to her body tightly. She wears a skirt, which hikes up to a little over mid-thigh, to provide mobility and a little sex appeal. When she’s not using her ATs, the wheels retract back into her white boots, which she seems to always be wearing.

Overall Personality:
Katsumi Akakura is calm, controlled, and calculative. The three C’s define her very being. With her constant snicker plastered onto her face, many would say she was smug, arrogant, but Katsumi is far from over-confident. She calculates her chances at whatever she does, weighing the pro’s against the con’s and makes her decision based on her findings. She knows not to walk into a battle that she’s destined to lose, and will only take up such a crusade in the case of extreme emotional distress. Though she’s mostly calm, when Katsumi does snap, she snaps hard. Her rage is uncontrolled and can only be stopped after she’s done something to ease it somewhat, be it beat someone to an inch of their life or slam her fist into the nearest wall. Her seemingly endless amount of patience has a limit and once that limit is surpassed, she will go all out. Katsumi is also somewhat a hopeless romantic, though she tries to hide this within her own thoughts. She constantly looks for her one true love, be it with another person, or a hobby. When Katsumi fines something she loves, she hooks her claws into it and doesn’t let go, obsession over it dearly. She does this all in her head mind you; her friends would never guess it.
When it comes to Air-Trek, Katsumi is an unpredictable figure, it seems as though when her wheels click out of her boots, she turns into a different person. Though she remains calculative, her calm is thrown out the nearest window. She drives any emotion she’s feeling at that time into her run, be it joy, anger, passion or fear. Her run varies according to her emotion, graceful and smooth while she’s happy, sharp and quick when she’s angry, powerful and elaborate when she’s passionate and so on. It’s as though she rides simply as a form of release, to let go off all the pent up emotion that she locks in a cage during everyday life. Her emotions also vary drastically mid-run, if the run has eased her anger, she flickers into a different style and if her run has made her angry, she flickers yet again. This random style of riding keep those her ride with her on their toes constantly.
HISTORY
Birthplace: Tokyo, Japan
Birthdate: 5/January/1995
Birth time: 0216 Hours
Parents:
Kiyoshi Akakura - Deceased
Shine Akakura
Overall History:
The Akakura family is a family not too well known. With almost no heritage, it took the head of the household, Kiyoshi Akakura much effort to rise above the ranks and take over one of the largest import and export companies in the entire of Japan. This effort instilled in the older Kiyoshi the life skills of determination, perseverance, innovativeness, cunning and a knack for recognising opportunities.
These skills, important in any aspect of prosperity in life, seemed to be embedded in the Kiyoshi bloodline as his only child Katsumi Akakura, seemed to possess these at a tender age. Though much more playful then her father, Katsumi had great intellect and further intuition then some say, even her father. At the young age, Katsumi began learning under some of the best tutors in all of Japan, nothing was too good for Kiyoshi Akakura’s daughter, nothing.
Katsumi also excelled in the martial art of Kenjutsu, or swordsmanship. Her father believed that not only did a child require intellectual prowess, she required both mental and physical strength to truly become the person she was destined to be. Armed with two blades, Katsumi’s confidence, usually already skyrocketing, tripled, either for the better or worst.
Katsumi was introduced to music and poetry by one of her favourite teachers back at a young age. Mr Senshin, her arts and musical talents teacher noticed her trying hard to keep her emotions under control as she’d been taught by her parents, emotions had no place in business or a successful life she used to be told. Wanting only the best for the young girl, yet not wanted to displease her parents by asking her to express herself open, Mr Senshin recommended that she try one of two things, playing the guitar and writing some poetry. Rather than trying one of those however, Katsumi fell in-love with both arts, pouring her emotions into her music and her words, hiding her poetry under her bed in fear of being criticised for expressing herself inappropriately. Poetry was her secret, so was the angry music she played. In front of her parents, she only did what was acceptable.
One day, while on the way back from a Kenjutsu lesson with her sensei, late into the night, Katsumi saw her chauffeur swerve drastically to the left, yelling obscenities at someone on the road. Katsumi, not having worn her seat belt, slammed into the side door her head flying out of the open window slightly, letting her see who exactly caused her this discomfort.
Right in the middle of the road, stood two teenagers, their eyes ablaze with passion and their bodies tense. They seemed to be wearing some sort of roller-skate, a type Katsumi had never before seen. She went to grab the door handle, and before her chauffeur could stop her, she had gotten out of the car, gazing at the pair with awe in her eyes.
That’s when she saw it. The two bent their knees and took off to the side of the road, converging on a tall skyscraper that reached up for the skies. Katsumi had driven past the building countless times, gazing up at it and wondering what was at the top, it looked like these two were about to find out. A gasp escaped her lips as she watched the pair scale the building, twisting and turning in mid-air, dancing with the wind and each other. They kicked out their feet, throw out punches at each other but they both seemed so oblivious to the fact that they were scaling a building with nothing but wheels. Katsumi had seen nothing more beautiful.
Just then, she felt the slightest rush of wind and the hair behind her neck stood on end. She had a visitor, someone who stood uncomfortable close behind her. She turned to look into the persons eyes, only to be taken by the hips and pulled out of the way. Katsumi had wondered close to the building in her daze, to see the two scaling up it better and had been in the way of a another rider, scaling the same building to join the fray.
Katsumi managed a yelp before she heard the sweet voice of her captor. It was a pale looking blonde boy, couldn’t be two years older than her. Her gaze dropped to his feet, his AT clad feet to be precise. Immediately she broke into a flurry of questions, who, what, when, where, how? She had to get her feet into those wonderful things, she just had to. And that is how; Katsumi Akakura joined the realm of the wind.
Role-play Sample:
[I’m using the history bit for a role-play scene? Don’t stone me >.<]
The sound of every drop of rain hitting the pavement resonated through the area. What was this feeling? I’ve never felt like this in my life. Pitter-Patter, the sound seemed so loud, but it seemed to resonate in an almost slow-motion way. They say time doesn’t stop for anyone, that it’s a cruel and painful thing, but they’re wrong. Time does stop, and Katsumi found out for what it stopped, it stopped for this magical thing she’d been introduced, the magical thing she was witnessing with her very eyes. Time stopped for the wind.
Katsumi watched as the two riders soared through the sky, scaling the building like there was an unseen flight of stairs that only those with Air Treks could see. They flowed gracefully, far more graceful then the hundreds of ballet dancers she had seen in life, they twisted and twirled, jumped and kicked, attacking each other whilst simultaneously doing an elaborate dance with each other.
One could feel both the flaming passion and the love the two had for their battle. The enjoyed fighting each other. Rather than the fight, they loved flying with all their hearts; they were one with the wind. As these thoughts whizzed through Katsumi’s mind, she felt a warm, light hand on her shoulder, gently dragging her away from the building that she had subconsciously moved towards. Being dragged out of her dream-state felt almost painful for Katsumi, she released a slight gasp from her lips.
She turned, to look at who had the nerve to try and pry her away from the world she’d submerged herself into, who dared do such a crime. Her eyes locked with a warm blue pair, the caring gaze that almost shocked her. What a guy like this doing here? Her gaze dropped to his feet, his AT clad feet to be precise. Another rider! She hadn’t even noticed him creep behind her, he must’ve flown like the others. Then it clicked in her head, this guy, he was her road to the sky!
She got down to asking him questions, she had to know exactly how she could fly, she wanted to fly, and she needed to fly. He seemed patient enough, even slightly amused by the looks of his constant grinning; he even had cute dimples that showed every time he got exceptionally amused. Once she was done, and paused to catch her breath, he relaxed, telling her everything she needed to find her wings, even volunteering to lend her a pair and go on her first ride right then.
Katsumi glanced towards her car, her chauffeur looking worriedly at her from a distance; he didn’t look comfortable at all. Katsumi thought for a second before she made her decision, if she wasn’t going to live now, when could she? She nodded gleefully at the boy, who seemed to have vanished. He was soon back, coming back in style, doing a couple of twirls on his way, in his hand, lay a pair of old AT’s.
Katsumi grinned, taking the set from him and clicking them onto her feet immediately, they weren’t the best fit, but they’ll have to do. She’d been on roller blades before but she wasn’t sure of what do with a motor in her shoe now. She felt the boy interlink his fingers with hers, urging her to put some pressure on her AT. She hesitated for a second, before taking a look at her new friend; she’d do it now, or never.
The feeling was magical; she increased the pressure a little much, shooting out from the grip of the boy. She whizzed forward, bending her knees lightly as she had seen him do, she was a quick learner and this was no different. The buildings blurred slightly as she increased her speed unconsciously, startled only when the boy appeared by her side once more, openly laughing now, whilst skating backwards. He seemed to be matching her speed easily, how much faster could these things go?
