All Based On RP's and History of Masaru
Birth of Thorns
At the age of 6, his mother and he ran from Gorou because of his abusive traits. Reason being, not only did he beat his wife, but he nearly beat Masaru to death. After arriving at Kyoto, his mother and he settled there. Because of his memories, he tends to be a pacifist and tried to avoid any conflict, but his mental scars sometimes forces him to lose control of himself and have violent bursts. At age 12, his mother died of cancer and a year later, lost the father at a car accident. Now 16, he is regarded as one of the top students of the region, looking after he and Asuka.
Asuka bought AT's for both of them during a holiday and he fell in love with them. Slowly enough he reached higher and faster, but noticed that everytime he use it, he felt pain afterwards. It wasn't until he and Asuka were playing tag when he realized that he has maniacal tendency because when he tagged her, she went flying into a wall and broke her arm and a concussion. Devastated, he reflected on his actions and the striking memory of his old father ran through. From that point, he fears what he is able to do in the AT.
It's because of these scars, a mental apparition named 'Onsu' came into scene. His hunger for revenge led him to seek more and more hate to the point where it completely skewed his reality. But, having be who he was, he was at the same time trying to contain said beast. After years of separating and often conflicting ideologies, Masaru's mind eventually split into Masaru and Onsu. Masaru was the being of the Rose, the outer beauty, the facade of the truth, whilst Onsu became the being of the Thorns, the true darkness that lies within his ailing mind. Some time to time, Masaru would lose will of his body to the strength of Onsu. Because of this split persona, Masaru's body reacts differently from one to another. Masaru was more of a vertical while Onsu was a street rider. With Onsu's hold getting ever increasingly stronger hold on him, the Masaru that people started to know was fading.
The Beauty of a Rose
After sometime during his AT travels, he came to know Asuka, his second cousin, more and more. After some encounters and saves from Asuka, he and Asuka were able to learn each other more and ultimately, Masaru and Asuka were going out. Even though they were second cousins, it didn't really matter to them. During this lifting movement, Masaru made friends in an Airport and as a result, he became the leader of the team named Totezeit. It's basis was to support each other beyond what they themselves can do. The team consisted at the time 3 people: Masaru, Roen, and Shiozaki. During their first PWT, the group was indeed the underdog, but by teamwork, overcame and won the PWT. Thrilled, they celebrated together in the hangar. But that night, Eden came and challenged them for their territory. With Vengence still crisp, Masaru decided this would be the only way to end this dispute. After battling, Totezeit had lost their home. Masaru felt a large blow by this, but he traversed to Downtown and spotted an old Opera House. After a freak finding, he received the deed and managed to place a side of Tokyo City as their new territory. He loved this area better because it provided more obstacles to train in as well as more people. During this time, anew member joined his ragtag team: Kael. However, this streak of somewhat upbeat life would soon end.
The Pain of a Thorn
During spending some time at the Lake, Masaru was skating around looking for some air to breath. It was that day that an incident occurred. Onsu regained control of Masaru's Body and his body suffered immensely. After a mental battle for power, it eventually led his body into the lake and masaru regained control. However, after his body had gotten extremely taxed, he began to drown. After being saved by his new member, Kael, the incident shot him back and made him realize his doings. He had let go of his past problems and moved on. Wrapping his bandages, he believed his Scars were over. Little did he know, the past, even though is behind him, is now his Future Forever. Onsu still remains in the depths of Masaru's mind, but only remains inactive until Masaru needs his power again.
Spending some time alone, Masaru began to draw blueprints of the now dubbed "Clock Tower" or the Totezeit HQ. He was always interested in the workings of time, but did not have the power to pursue it. As the group of 4 trained, a girl entered the scene and eventually became the 5th member of Totezeit: Sunako. Having his team completely filled, Masaru was satisfied with his team. Roen was the second hand man since he was the person who he regarded most as the next best leader and Shio was placed as the patrol along with the cadets: Sunako and Kael.
Totezeit's power was tested again in the Third PWT. Masaru perviously decided to skip out on the 2nd due to recovery period, but he decided it was okay to try the Tourny again. But a twist of fate landed them against a team beyond even Totezeit's luck. Daunted, he started to train each member individually in hoped to make his team about even. After being able to train his team members, Masaru was sure to not lose as badly as they have in the next coming PWT. There was some trouble in the ranks, but it ended with a duel in the parking lot between him and Shio. This streak of sorrow continued as Asuka and Masaru found out that Asuka's Mother had gotten ill in America. Concerned, the two decided to break relations and let Asuka travel to America, and even after one night of passion, sadness followed after. Sadness and Loneliness had temporarily overcome Masaru.
Scars
This streak of madness further fueled Masaru's reason to join the 4th PWT. With all this chaos going on, it was a way to place out all his anger. This however, did not make him feel any better. Even though his team beat 3 teams, the victory was not enough to fill his empty heart. A week after Asuka's leave, Masaru had met a person by the name of Kin. Because of his vunerability, Masaru ultimately became a toy for Kin, but he was strangely okay with that. Onsu however, was not. But after some events, not even Onsu could protect what Kin did to him. Only this time, Masaru was the girl. a week following after, he again met this person, but with two other people to disturb him. However, Onsu was able to get out and stop Kin's reign briefly. That is, until Kin swiped him and did the same stunt.
Later on, Masaru had finally gotten over Asuka with the strange help of Kin, and was now riding a while. But oppurtunity struck when he had the idea of protecting his land. Upon seeing Eden and Mingless Exodus increase in size territory wise, Masaru thought of a plan to protect their own, by alliance. Striking a deal with Kazuya, the leader of Endless Void, Totezeit won the battle and helped grow by terms of friendship. On occasions, Kin would meet up with Kin to take care of some business.
Sure enough, this string of oddness would go into full blast when he met the Thorn Queen herself. After some touch training with the Queen, Masaru had to pull back, his journey to be a successful Rider of Thorns was still far in comparison with such a figure and role Model. With this sad realization, Masaru began to train harder. But it seemed that his past was still lurking. The bottled hatred for Asuka, even with Kin's "Extra Help", seemed to seep into the core of Onsu, the Bearer of Masaru's Buried emotions.
T'was a glistened night at the Forest, and it seemed that the more brighter the moon became, the darker his heart became. By chance and and oppurtunity, he met someone... Someone just like him. Lilika. She seemed to bear a familiar, yet daunting air about her. Something both Masaru and Onsu loved. But that night spilled into disaster, forcing Masaru to go into the Hospital for a couple of months in a medical Coma and slight Amnesia. Strangely enough, upon release, he met with Kain, a fellow friend who was there that night, and Dear Lili. With his memories back, he no longer feared nor hated Asuka, he just wanted to get over it. Seeing as how it was the Holiday, he took a plan to go visit his ill-stricken Aunt over in America.
Withering Rose
During his stay in America, there were awkward moments between he, Asuka, and her new boyfriend "Mico". At first, it was uncomfortable between Asuka and Masaru, and some trouble with her boyfriend erupted, but after a couple of weeks and some time together, the two finally made up. They still weren't together, but maybe someday, they will be. "Onichan!" She laughed and kissed him goodbye. He waved and rode back to Japan. With 2 months that passed again, a stacking total of at least 4 months of inactivity with his AT's would prove to be trouble for Masaru. Now it was a race to see if he can still ride the storm with the other people in his ranks.
A Bouquet of Thorns
Feeling his groove back, Masaru had been able to pull himself back together and start riding again. His comrade and friend, Shio, had brought a new person by the name of Arisu Toff, to be commissioned into Totezeit. Kael Enos was displeased at first to hear the news, but understood that his inactivity in the AT world needed to be subdued, and he quietly continued on with his life. He had given Miss Toff a difficult, no, impossible recruiting test on her to see what she was made of. She passed with a trip to the hospital. Now with his team back in force, he had gotten word from the AT world that Territory battles have been forbidden from a higher, more unknown power. Could these be the kings? Masaru thought hard for a moment, then brushed it off. Now wasn't the time to think about such useless things. They were given the oppurtunity to grow, they better make damn sure they used it to the fullest potential.

Ruling: Increase you Strength and Speed by 24 until the end of the round. You can only use this trick once a round.

It's basis was to support each other beyond what they themselves can do. The team consisted at the time 3 people: Masaru, Roen, and Shiozaki. During their first PWT, the group was indeed the underdog, but by teamwork, overcame and won the PWT. Thrilled, they celebrated together in the hangar. But that night, Eden came and challenged them for their territory. With Vengence still crisp, Masaru decided this would be the only way to end this dispute. After battling, Totezeit had lost their home. Masaru felt a large blow by this, but he traversed to Downtown and spotted an old Opera House. After a freak finding, he received the deed and managed to place a side of Tokyo City as their new territory. He loved this area better because it provided more obstacles to train in as well as more people. During this time, anew member joined his ragtag team: Kael. However, this streak of somewhat upbeat life would soon end.
The Pain of a Thorn
During spending some time at the Lake, Masaru was skating around looking for some air to breath. It was that day that an incident occurred. Onsu regained control of Masaru's Body and his body suffered immensely. After a mental battle for power, it eventually led his body into the lake and masaru regained control. However, after his body had gotten extremely taxed, he began to drown. After being saved by his new member, Kael, the incident shot him back and made him realize his doings. He had let go of his past problems and moved on. Wrapping his bandages, he believed his Scars were over. Little did he know, the past, even though is behind him, is now his Future Forever. Onsu still remains in the depths of Masaru's mind, but only remains inactive until Masaru needs his power again.
Spending some time alone, Masaru began to draw blueprints of the now dubbed "Clock Tower" or the Totezeit HQ. He was always interested in the workings of time, but did not have the power to pursue it. As the group of 4 trained, a girl entered the scene and eventually became the 5th member of Totezeit: Sunako. Having his team completely filled, Masaru was satisfied with his team. Roen was the second hand man since he was the person who he regarded most as the next best leader and Shio was placed as the patrol along with the cadets: Sunako and Kael.
Totezeit's power was tested again in the Third PWT. Masaru perviously decided to skip out on the 2nd due to recovery period, but he decided it was okay to try the Tourny again. But a twist of fate landed them against a team beyond even Totezeit's luck. Daunted, he started to train each member individually in hoped to make his team about even. After being able to train his team members, Masaru was sure to not lose as badly as they have in the next coming PWT. There was some trouble in the ranks, but it ended with a duel in the parking lot between him and Shio. This streak of sorrow continued as Asuka and Masaru found out that Asuka's Mother had gotten ill in America. Concerned, the two decided to break relations and let Asuka travel to America, and even after one night of passion, sadness followed after. Sadness and Loneliness had temporarily overcome Masaru.
Scars
This streak of madness further fueled Masaru's reason to join the 4th PWT. With all this chaos going on, it was a way to place out all his anger. This however, did not make him feel any better. Even though his team beat 3 teams, the victory was not enough to fill his empty heart. A week after Asuka's leave, Masaru had met a person by the name of Kin. Because of his vunerability, Masaru ultimately became a toy for Kin, but he was strangely okay with that. Onsu however, was not. But after some events, not even Onsu could protect what Kin did to him. Only this time, Masaru was the girl. a week following after, he again met this person, but with two other people to disturb him. However, Onsu was able to get out and stop Kin's reign briefly. That is, until Kin swiped him and did the same stunt.
Later on, Masaru had finally gotten over Asuka with the strange help of Kin, and was now riding a while. But oppurtunity struck when he had the idea of protecting his land. Upon seeing Eden and Mingless Exodus increase in size territory wise, Masaru thought of a plan to protect their own, by alliance. Striking a deal with Kazuya, the leader of Endless Void, Totezeit won the battle and helped grow by terms of friendship. On occasions, Kin would meet up with Kin to take care of some business.
Sure enough, this string of oddness would go into full blast when he met the Thorn Queen herself. After some touch training with the Queen, Masaru had to pull back, his journey to be a successful Rider of Thorns was still far in comparison with such a figure and role Model. With this sad realization, Masaru began to train harder. But it seemed that his past was still lurking. The bottled hatred for Asuka, even with Kin's "Extra Help", seemed to seep into the core of Onsu, the Bearer of Masaru's Buried emotions.
T'was a glistened night at the Forest, and it seemed that the more brighter the moon became, the darker his heart became. By chance and and oppurtunity, he met someone... Someone just like him. Lilika. She seemed to bear a familiar, yet daunting air about her. Something both Masaru and Onsu loved. But that night spilled into disaster, forcing Masaru to go into the Hospital for a couple of months in a medical Coma and slight Amnesia. Strangely enough, upon release, he met with Kain, a fellow friend who was there that night, and Dear Lili. With his memories back, he no longer feared nor hated Asuka, he just wanted to get over it. Seeing as how it was the Holiday, he took a plan to go visit his ill-stricken Aunt over in America.
Withering Rose
During his stay in America, there were awkward moments between he, Asuka, and her new boyfriend "Mico". At first, it was uncomfortable between Asuka and Masaru, and some trouble with her boyfriend erupted, but after a couple of weeks and some time together, the two finally made up. They still weren't together, but maybe someday, they will be. "Onichan!" She laughed and kissed him goodbye. He waved and rode back to Japan. With 2 months that passed again, a stacking total of at least 4 months of inactivity with his AT's would prove to be trouble for Masaru. Now it was a race to see if he can still ride the storm with the other people in his ranks.

Feeling his groove back, Masaru had been able to pull himself back together and start riding again. His comrade and friend, Shio, had brought a new person by the name of Arisu Toff, to be commissioned into Totezeit. Kael Enos was displeased at first to hear the news, but understood that his inactivity in the AT world needed to be subdued, and he quietly continued on with his life. He had given Miss Toff a difficult, no, impossible recruiting test on her to see what she was made of. She passed with a trip to the hospital. Now with his team back in force, he had gotten word from the AT world that Territory battles have been forbidden from a higher, more unknown power. Could these be the kings? Masaru thought hard for a moment, then brushed it off. Now wasn't the time to think about such useless things. They were given the oppurtunity to grow, they better make damn sure they used it to the fullest potential.

All Based On RP's and History of Masaru
Chapter 1: The Growth of a Rose
Birth of Thorns
At the age of 6, his mother and he ran from Gorou because of his abusive traits. Reason being, not only did he beat his wife, but he nearly beat Masaru to death. After arriving at Kyoto, his mother and he settled there. Because of his memories, he tends to be a pacifist and tried to avoid any conflict, but his mental scars sometimes forces him to lose control of himself and have violent bursts. At age 12, his mother died of cancer and a year later, lost the father at a car accident. Now 16, he is regarded as one of the top students of the region, looking after he and Asuka.
Asuka bought AT's for both of them during a holiday and he fell in love with them. Slowly enough he reached higher and faster, but noticed that everytime he use it, he felt pain afterwards. It wasn't until he and Asuka were playing tag when he realized that he has maniacal tendency because when he tagged her, she went flying into a wall and broke her arm and a concussion. Devastated, he reflected on his actions and the striking memory of his old father ran through. From that point, he fears what he is able to do in the AT.
It's because of these scars, a mental apparition named 'Onsu' came into scene. His hunger for revenge led him to seek more and more hate to the point where it completely skewed his reality. But, having be who he was, he was at the same time trying to contain said beast. After years of separating and often conflicting ideologies, Masaru's mind eventually split into Masaru and Onsu. Masaru was the being of the Rose, the outer beauty, the facade of the truth, whilst Onsu became the being of the Thorns, the true darkness that lies within his ailing mind. Some time to time, Masaru would lose will of his body to the strength of Onsu. Because of this split persona, Masaru's body reacts differently from one to another. Masaru was more of a vertical while Onsu was a street rider. With Onsu's hold getting ever increasingly stronger hold on him, the Masaru that people started to know was fading.
The Beauty of a Rose
After sometime during his AT travels, he came to know Asuka, his second cousin, more and more. After some encounters and saves from Asuka, he and Asuka were able to learn each other more and ultimately, Masaru and Asuka were going out. Even though they were second cousins, it didn't really matter to them. During this lifting movement, Masaru made friends in an Airport and as a result, he became the leader of the team named Totezeit. This ability is what unleashes the S.C.R. Allowing for it to be utilized. This ability can only be used at the start of the battle, or if Thorn Reaper Withdrawal was used anytime before. If it is not coiled, obviously, it is impossible to release, as it has done so already. No abilities can be used unless the S.C.R is released AKA. Thorn Reaper Release must be used.

In RP description: Some say that the best defense is a good offense. But they would never have thought it would be done in this fashion. By wrapping around the AT's and plunging the whips into the ground, the rider uses it as leverage, the rider uses their strength to increase their defense. But, this is at a severe cost of temporarily losing all of their speed until unlatched.
Ruling: When this ability is activated decrease your stamina by an amount equal to its regalia charge cost.
