Ok so the thread is pretty simple, tell what intrument/s you play.
I play the electric guitar (kinda XD)
The drums < my main instrument
Some Piano/keyboarding
And i have some limited abilities with the violin from back in the day >.>

I play saxaphone (all) but bari is my favorite it give me the ability to drown out the band. I play piano. Drums i own a violin but im still a beginner at it and i beat guitar hero 2 on expert i know that doesnt really count as a real guitar but what ever. Lately i have been recording my own stuff. I m not very good but i like to dabble around with midi.

i used to play alot of guitar.. not electric... but cut down a lot...not very good at it anyway.. XD i properbly can only finish 2 or 3 songs XD

Yeah i can play non-electric (what is it called XD), but like i sadi before i prefer drums:p

i used to play paino/ keyboard, and tried playing drums, didn't work out 4 me so i stuck to the keyboard. neva tried the guitar found it tooooo hard. and i really like it:(

when i first played... i was like this is so stupid. I didn't really practice (didn't need to, beginning levels don't require practice. for perfection... you need to practice a lot.) As you can see... i got in lots of trouble with my violin teacher as the levels grew harder and harder. I finally started to appreciate last year when i had nothing to do. I found out that playing the violin was very enjoyable and continued to do so.(My teacher got naggier on details once i started practicing... i hate her.)

yeah... i regret quitting piano. I forgot all my skillz. Rofls. piano was my first instrument i learned how to play. RAWR. I can till play merry had a little lamb and rugrats!

THe piano is probably my favorite instrument to play. I love all the possibilities with it. Especially with and ragtime and swing music. All the stuff you can do solo's with. Even working breaks into your solo's. I also really enjoy beehtoven and mozart. Their work is absolutely genius. Next favorite instrument is probably my sax.

I signed up for band in elementary school, I wanted to be a drummer, but the band teacher was a *@#! so I only lasted about four weeks. Even though I went in wanting to play the drums, he told me no, that I'd be a trumpet player. He didn't even let me pick my instrument. -_-

I play a mean guitar hero now, and I taught myself how to play Mary had a Little Lamb on piana, that's about it. My bf's a drummer, and I've been trying to get him to teach me, but I live in an apartment complex so it's kinda hard. ^_^

Now piano...
No talent... ><

But still want to try out some nice traditional chinese instruments like the gu zheng... I once had a carved wooden frog that when you roll a piece of wood (came with the frog instrument.. instrument ya? i don't know..) on its back, it sounded just like a frog croaking... Even better than how an original and real frog sound like... haha~~ kero kero~~!
Another one which my aunt gave to me was a simple whistle.. when you blow, there's something on the other end for you to pull.. then there's the bird chirping you'll hear...

Anyone with some other kind of traditional or unique instrument?? I find them interesting~~

Hmm..My main instrument would be the electric guitar muhuhahahaha..Second would be the piano =).. (I use a HSH setting Washburn WG208 as well as a keyboard from Yamaha if you wanna go into the details xD) Personally, I like electric guitars because you can play around with the sound and effects..hehe I like playing rock and a bit of heavy metal ^_^"

I play guitar most successfully, but I can mess around with a bass, too. And I played trumpet and trombone in school.

With drums, I can handle a simple rock beat, but I wouldn't consider that knowing how to play.

Squire's are a nice way to get a Fender-quality instrument for cheap.

My first guitar was/is a Squire Bullet. I love that mother...now, it's covered in stickers and medical tape, but it's still badass XD

i've been playing electric and acoustic guitar for close to seven years now and i'm pretty damn good. i got a realy band and everything and we actually get local gigs when we're all around at the same time. I played trumpet for five years though but my braces got in the way so i stopped. The guitar i have is a gibson new milenium finish flying V and i'm never throwing this bad boy away, it's actually my second guitar as i had the acoustic guitar beforehand.

I played the tenor sax man, its a kick ass instrument and all but its kind of heavy on the neck, man u need alot of lung capacity to play this baby, it was pain when i first got it

- Sad to say I have never seen this thread till now..

I grabbed a crappy Groove Percussion set back in my Junior year of HS. Self taught myself for a year and a half playing the drums. I'm in a band now, rock-ish I guess you can say. I'm still learning but I'm periodically picking up new beats and learning how to lift others.

I can play the drum beat to "Misrilou" by Dick Dale
The Pillows "Ride on Shooting Star" (but I have no ride so.. not "offically" then. XD.)
Working on a group of Queens of the Stone Age songs..
Including:
- Little Sister (the hardest I've looked at so far)
- Go With the Flow
- You Think I Aint Worth a Dollar, But I Feel Like a Millionaire
Others include:
- Song 2 by Blur
- Hysteria by Muse
- Blue Monday by Orgy..

Xd. I'm working on it.

I'm teaching myself the piano and the guitar. I'm getting to the point where it's impressive that I've taught myself as much as I have, but on the whole isn't too big a deal.
Tried to teach myself the violin. Now is when you all collectively laugh.

I also played the drums for four years. I was okay.
