There is nothing fanciful about his style and he treats ATs as he would any delicate piece of hi-tech machinery. He is a perfectionist and likes taking his time when it comes to tuning. As such, any attempts to rush or hurry him will usually end with a tool of choice being flung in the person’s direction. As for tools, Teddy has a good background in metalwork so he has a set of unique tools that he designed and created specially for himself.
When he tunes, Teddy has the tendency to chain smoke. While it annoys the man himself, he is absolutely unable to concentrate without a cigarette and becomes agitated and frustrated easily. As for music, Teddy listens to music that he feels is most similar to the individual whose ATs he is tuning for synchronization purposes. He is not too picky about the people he tunes, so long as they do not give him any attitude. If you do, prepare to say bye-bye to your ATs.

Teddy stands at 6’ 1” and possesses a lightly muscled body. He has long, messy, layered hair that tapers down to his waist and emerald green eyes. He has the skin tone of a normal Caucasian, though he is on the fair side as the sun is not his friend. Alas, he never tans, only burns. He also has a tattoo on his right arm that runs from the back of his hand up to his biceps. The tattoo is done using the traditional Japanese style, irezumi and depicts two fierce Japanese dragons locked in battle – one in black and red and the other in shades of blue.
◊ First Impressions
One of the first things that you will notice about Teddy is that he always has a friendly grin and a mischievous sparkle in his eyes. He is always upbeat and full of energy, unable to stay still for an extended period of time. When he speaks, Teddy tends to be very animated, using hand gestures to help him get his points across. As for his posture, he slouches quite a bit and likes to lean against any available surface. As he is the type of person who generally never bothers to hide how he feels, it is easy to tell what he is thinking.

Not taking into account his (boring) grey jumpsuit that he forced himself to wear while working in the garage, Teddy has a rather eclectic taste when it comes to fashion. He tends to lean towards uniquely coloured articles of clothing, favouring t-shirts with bright prints and sarcastic and witty quotes on them. The one thing that remains constant about his wardrobe is that he will always match his shirts with a pair of artfully ripped jeans. Formal wear? Perish the thought. While he cleans up pretty well, it is next to impossible to convince him to wear a suit and tie.

A splash of unpredictability and dash of mischief topped with a sprinkle of sarcasm make up the basis of Teddy’s personality. Carefree and laid-back, he never takes anything seriously and has a tendency to do things on a whim. Being a fun-loving and adventurous individual, he is willing to try anything at least twice. A creative doer, Teddy comes up with a lot of crazy ideas, but he has a bad habit of losing interest just as quickly and is forever scrapping half-finished projects.
The one thing that Teddy cannot stand is boredom and having too much free time on his hands. He can come off as being obnoxious at times and he knows it, but the knowledge has never stopped him. If you are unable to keep his interest, be prepared to be pranked or bothered by him. Nothing is sacred and everything is considered fair game.
But beneath his happy-go-lucky persona is a shrewd and cunning analytical strategist, though he prefers to forego the responsibility. He finds it to be too much of a bother. While Teddy is a gregarious individual who is generous with his smiles, he is not someone who allows people to get too close to him. A rather selfish person, it is not unusual for him to place himself above others, save for a rare few. Teddy can also be unforgiving and can remember and hold a grudge for a long, long time. If he cannot beat you today he will just work harder, and kick your ass another day.

Born to an upper middle class family, Thaddeus Bohr is the long awaited first child of the Bohr couple. It came as no surprise to anyone that they both showered him with love and spoiled him with gifts and toys. All he had to do was to express an interest and they would obtain it for him. It did not take long for the bright child to figure all he had to do was to sniffle a bit for his parents to cave in to his demands. Things changed with the birth of his younger brother and where he had his parents’ full attention, now he has to share them with his younger sibling. He, of course, resented this and plotted to recapture his parents’ notice.
Knowing that his parents were aficionados of classical music, the young boy pestered them to enrol him for violin classes and being the indulgent parents they were, they acquiesced. It was there when Thaddeus first started to show a hint of his talent. Like most children, he quickly grew bored of the violin and moved to the cello. It was with the cello that Thaddeus found his true calling. While Atticus and Elaine have always known their son to be gifted, he exceeded their wildest expectations. He proved to be a quick study, surpassing his peers effortlessly. For awhile, he successfully managed what he set out to do, to regain his parents’ attention.
Then came the youngest of the family, Caleb. With two demanding young children, aged two and one respectively, the Bohr couple had their hands full. They were so preoccupied with Thaddeus younger siblings, they inadvertently neglected him. As he was used to being the center of his parents’ attention, the sudden lack thereof only made the young child resentful. From a bright and cheerful child, Thaddeus grew sullen and defiant. This continued on until he was a teenager and instead of getting better, his attitude only grew worse. His grades and assessments were only good enough to pass and as much as his parents berated him, it only increased his animosity towards them. The only thing that Thaddeus seemed to care for at the time was his cello and auto mechanics.
At a loss as to what they should do with their rebellious son, the parents forced him to apply for a place in The Juilliard School, not wanting their eldest son to end up as a mechanic. As much as he disliked his parents for their meddling, he remains passionate about music so he went for the audition willingly. Unsurprisingly, he ended up being accepted into the prestigious performing arts conservatory and ended up studying there for a few years. As with most things in his life, Thaddeus eventually grew bored of the restrictiveness and the hours he need to put in to practice. Four months before his graduation he left home, only leaving a note in his room saying that he had enough.
Ever since then, Thaddeus has been travelling around, picking up skills as an auto and motorcycle mechanic. During one of his travels, he found himself in Japan and decided that it was an ideal place to settle down and opened a garage of his own, eventually becoming very well-known in the Osaka area for customizations.

What a pain, he thought woefully, trying his best to look fierce and savage. The pose that he had been instructed to maintain was an alternative version of a handstand, something that required him to balance his entire weight on his arms… well, from the tip of his fingers to his elbows. Heck, the closest thing that came to mind was a shachihoko. It was admittedly difficult especially when your muscles are crying out in pain and your hair is falling into your eyes, but Teddy decided against complaining. It would only provoke a wry remark regarding his manliness, or in his case, the lack of it. Thus, the carmine haired man… er… manned up and blew the stray strands of hair out of his face, only for it to fall back into his face. Damn it!
When Itsumi first roped him into posing for her, he had balked, until she brought up rewards. After some bargaining – because Teddy will not do said ridiculous pose for free – he had agreed to it. Hah! He figured that in getting out of doing chores for an entire week was worth him posing for three hours, right? Turned out that he was wrong, very wrong. The devil-in-disguise made him do the most impossible, silliest and bizarre pose ever. What the hell was she trying to achieve with such a ridiculous pose? Abstract art? “Um… Itsumi?” Before he could even finish his reasonable request, the girl in question shot him a warning glare and shushed him. Teddy frowned and tried once again, only for her to raise a wrench threateningly. He rolled his eyes at the unspoken threat and decided that enough was enough. There was only so much abuse a man could take!
“Itsumiiiiiiiiiiiii,” he tried to get through to her once again, calling out her name in a pleading tone. “I can understand that you’re absorbed, I’ve been itching for the past one hour. Could you at least scratch—” ‘No’ was the only reply he received. Teddy sighed in defeat, this was going to be a long day.
